We made an appointment time,I sat for over 30 minutes for my stylist to finish a client. No one felt any need to inform me this. On the website and inside are no displayed prices. Appreciate the long consult with my salonist and owner who looked at my hair and decided that my inspirational photos were not going to be possible with my hair, versions of darks which would not allow it to lift to the desired highlight I want. The quality of products on the shelf and even in the salon are just not what they should be, so I don't appreciate being blamed. Apparently I'm allergic to this color as it caused itchiness, and breakage. I also needed Root grey coverage, quoted $90 for this so we went forward.I'm upset that it was $160 when I got to the register, 30 for an extra bowl of color, never mentioned, 40 for blow dry, pretended like it's included and took a few minutes. Starting with a scorching hot setting btw. My hairline was also tender and irritated from the dye being rubbed vigorously. No protection barrier or remover provided. I was recommended to go here, that they are so nice and WERE NOT the type to overcharge/ keep charging for certain things. I did call with the manager who was very polite called me back quite quickly and expressed my concerns. I understand that now that the price of the color was quite expensive because it's European, I don't believe $50/$60 a of root grey coverage hair color is in any way reasonable. I don't believe this is an isolated in incident but just the salon industry alone. I don't understand how they don't see this as being a greedy and dishonest. Any other product or business we are aware of what the price is. Sadly it's one of the only operations where you can't really get a refund because you can't return, all you can do is not pay more than what you're quoted and I swear I won't ever again. If there's a "plan change" that takes place and you're not notified of it you're not responsible for that. It's very expensive to operate a business there as the owner had mentioned and if I would have known that a blow dry was $40 I wouldn't have gotten the color here cuz yes of course people want to see what the color looks like so it should be included. It's like why stop at 160. The color does look good. Great. Absolutely looks about the same as my own root coverage that I do for $10 I knew that it was hard to reach places that she was saying I said okay. The price is not the price however. Have to ask every 5 minutes and be specific on everything to maybe get an honest updated answer. read more

I am beyond disappointed. I have been going to Kelly since like 2021 and the last time I got a haircut was about middle of July 2023. When I was there I got bangs and I was told to come back in 6 weeks to get them trimmed. Kelly told me I did not have to make an appointment since they were just bangs and it would just be a quick trim. I procrastinated a little bit but at the end of September-beginning of October my mom went up there to see if she could bring me in at some point to get them trimmed because I had senior pictures at the end of October. Kelly told her she was busy and to tell me to DM her on instagram. So I did, and she left me on open, and so I tried again; I even let her know that I really needed them done before senior pictures. She left me on open again. My mom and I tried one last time, we went up to the salon and asked if Kelly was there. Another worker said she had saw her eating lunch in the back room. She went to check and when she came back apparently 'Kelly left early' even though she had been 'so busy' every time I tried to go up there or call. My experience at Salon 3200 was awful and my senior pictures might be ruined because of all of this. This place is so unprofessional and I will never be spending my money here again!! read more

We made a reservation with Summer to have my daughter's nails done, and would return again. The salon doesn't look like much from the outside - it's in the corner of a nondescript strip mall - but inside is lively and open, and Summer did a very careful and professional manicure for a reasonable price. read more

Had mine and my bridesmaids hair and nails done here for my wedding and EVERYONE was so nice and accommodating. My husband even had his haircut the day of the wedding, after we left, and I am so picky when it comes to his hair and I was happy with the result. read more

I don't live in Virginia Beach anymore, but whenever I visit, I always make an appointment with Corrine to get my haircut as I went to her for years before I moved away. Everyone there is so nice and I always get a great cut. I've also gone there for up-dos for several weddings and everyone always asks me where I had them done. Highly recommend! read more

I will never go here again. I went there on jan 4th for japanese hair straightening. I get this treatment every year but usually do it in new york because its cheaper and the asian ladies really know what they're doing. The lady who did my hair at salon 3200 convinced me to do a healthier version of the japanese but said it would still get my hair really straight. She charged me 450$ which is more than double i paid in NY not to mention that was without tip. On the phone before coming in they told me it would be 300$. What I'm mostly upset about is that it is still taking me a good 30 min to dry and straighten my hair which usually would only take 15 right after getting a japanese treatment. Not only did this place waste my time and drain my bank account, but my hair is unchanged (and i did everything she asked me to such as dont get it wet for 3 days, no washing, dont fold it behind your ears...i am very familiar with japanese post treatment protocol). I'm so upset that I went to this place. I almost wish i purchased a plane ticket and went to NY to have it done. Although I know the cost of a plane ticket plus japanese would even out to the same cost, atleast I would have straight hair for a good 6 months. For all you ladies with wild Persian hair or hair that will not get straight unless you do original japanese treatment PLEASE DON"T GO HERE!!!! all this place did was take my money, waste 4+ hours of my time, and stripped some color out of my hair! (japanese will lighten your hair a bit, however its usually worth it if your hair gets to be pin straight....def not worth it this time). NEVER EVER WILL I GO HERE AGAIN!!!! read more

I was fairly pleased with the services I received here for a bleach and tone but honestly it was very very expensive but I did add on an Olaplex treatment so this may have been why the bleach and tone process was so pricey. I worked with a skilled stylist who actually took the time to painstakingly apply the 40 volume bleach to my roots only and she was very careful not to overlap too much so that I would not leave with too much breakage. When you add an Olaplex treatment to your bleach it will take much longer for the bleach to process so expect to spend a lot of time in your salon chair and be ultra patient! She used a 40 volume because the olaplex will weaken the volume by at least 10% and you will be waiting a bit longer but the results are well worth it. I was not especially thrilled with the toner. She chose a white toner rather than a silver or lavender color so when the service was done I honestly did not achieve quite the "ice white" I was hoping for nor did the results last too long so after I used my own purple shampoo for about 2 weeks or more I did see the icy white. I did not feel the price of $200 plus tip was warranted. Yes this is a "nice" salon but I have been to much fancier salons in Chicago and New York and did not pay as much. I am pleased she was extra careful with touching up my roots but I did not feel especially excited with the toner she chose because I had to use purple shampoo to achieve what I wanted. During the styling process I had asked her for a tiny trim but she did not feel comfortable doing so since I told her I was growing out some layers. I ended up trimming off a quarter of an inch off the bottom layer later in the week because It really needed it badly. I was also kind of upset that I left with a burn mark because she used a curling iron a bit too close to my face. I think the stylist took her time with me but this salon is extremely over priced for services rendered. read more

I was a client there for years but stopped going after I heard stylists talking about clients without any awareness of being heard, in a judgemental way. After a few months I called for an appt and was told owner would have to call me back, she was the stylist I went to. Never got a call. Tried again a month later to see if I was dumped, same thing happened when I tried to make an appt so apparently I was on the dead to me list. Haircut was fine if routine and expensive, but atmosphere like mean girls in high school. If you go there, don't tell them anything you don't want repeated. read more
