I was having a hard time looking for a salon around Stanton area until I decided to search up on on yelp and saw Salon 7. I was really eefy at first because theres not much of a review about this salon but I was really in the moment and wanted something for a change for myself and the salon is literally 3 mins drive from me. I came in and saw David finishing up. He's super welcoming and the wait was literally 5 mins. Customer service is really magnificent. You could really tell that he's really passionate about his job and really care about he's customers. I never really stick through salon and keep trying new hair salon but David is is one of impressive hair stylist out there in OC !! Also the price isn't pricy ! REALLY RECOMMENDED !! Here's a pictures of before & after picture 1st-2nd pictures are from a while ago when I had long hair / black hair for 2 years and wanted for a change. 3rd-4th pictures are David style. I actually didn't want it to be shoulder length but I remember how he was telling me about how it's gonna be super cute especially because of the shape of my face and it's gonna match me. I was in desperate need of a trim and decided to stop by here since it was close by and I noticed their grand opening sign a few days earlier. It is right next to a dry cleaners in a tiny shopping center so be sure not to miss it! This salon is very small and clean and had fresh roses and candles at the receptionists desk which was nice. Dave took me right away as a walk in; he was very clean cut, dressed nicely and engaged me in comfortable conversation. My hair is pretty short and I've been trying to grow it into a bob but it needed to be shaped out since it was taking on a gross mullet shape and he did a great job! My hair is dyed black and I told him I was planning to go blonde for summer, he mentioned he had just lightened a woman's dyed black hair the day before and I decided to go for it. He was patient and lifted my hair 7 levels to a nice even copper color! Super cute and much lighter than I was expecting it to lift. I told him I usually style my hair in a little 60s teased bouffant and he did it for me perfectly! Very impressed. He told me he and his mom just opened the salon recently, his mom was working as well and she was very nice and even showed me a better way of teasing my hair with less damage and had a very light and effective touch! They were both very attentive which I appreciated. I've gone back once since my initial visit to get a wet set and it turned out awesome, I'm planning on getting them weekly from now on since it gave tons of volume to my thin hair. I will also be back in a few weeks to lighten again to blonde. I'm used to getting my hair done at cutesy hipster salons but honestly I just hate spending so much money on the frequent upkeep of short hair, plus I like the freedom of stopping in at a moments notice instead of booking weeks in advance. However, I bit the bullet and decided to go here. I'm so glad that I did because David is such an amazing hair stylist! He's super knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. Went here a couple of days ago for a haircut and I FELL IN LOVE WITH MY NEW LOOK. David was amazing! He suggested things to my haircut cause I didn't really have a picture and it turned out very good. He is also not one of those hair stylist that are like quite and make it uncomfortable. Went in yesterday for a blowout and set wow the lady (I hate being so bad with names) blew me away literally she made my hair look so cute.
