I've always had side bangs but let it grow out during Covid and finally decided to get the bangs again. I was in the area so decided to stop by for a quick appointment. Pros: Convenient location, super accommodating in terms of scheduling a last minute appointment, owner was very nice and friendly. Price is very reasonable ($15 for bangs, $45 for a cut pre tip). Cons: I showed the owner how I wanted my bangs (a pic of my hair from when I had side bangs before) and she said she understood. The bangs she cut are ok, but I don't love it. It's a lot thinner than how I had it before so if I don't keep it in place, it doesn't look full, doesn't flow, & the layers are a bit choppy. I'll have to wait until I visit my hometown to get them redone. read more

I went to see Tina. She was very patient with me over the phone. Through text responded same day or within a few days. Was readily available to chat over phone about the state of my red bleached hair. I was able to come in months earlier to have a consultation about what she could do for my hair. Was very honest and valued my hairs health over making a quick buck. Kept telling me that I shouldn't have bleached my hair or let a friend dye it because it was bad for my hair. Was able to come in person months after the consultation and she had thoroughly discussed what my options are. Did a great job dying my hair this shade of brown that I had wanted. Got very close to what I had wanted in the pictures that I had sent to her through text. The vibes were okay, although she did keep saying the same thing over that next time I shouldn't do box dye. I think she didn't understand what I want and when I tried to explain her - she didn't like the idea. I don't experiment with my hair much & getting the same haircut since 6 yrs that's - 4 saloons in 3 diff places (India,North Carolina &Seattle) So it's hard to believe that what I wanted was not feasible. She understood that I am not happy & asked me to reach out within a week for another cut which I did.
