After I moved out to the Roswell area from Brookhaven, I decided to try out a new salon in favor of making the trek back to Midtown, to my usual place. I reasoned that I could always return to my old stylist if I didn't find someplace I really loved...well... Sorry old salon! I'm out! I found Salon Arcaro by literally just googling "salons in Roswell, GA" and I feel so lucky that their name came up in my search results. I called midway through last week to ask about an appointment for a color touchup and consultation about how to tackle my ugly little gray hairs going forward. The (super nice!) receptionist fit me right in for Saturday and told me I'd be seeing Genevieve, who was an expert in balayage. Y'all, Genevieve is my hair hero! She covered my grays with the perfect base color, and then meticulously applied the balayage highlights all over. I am in LOVE with the results! Would it be cheesy to say my hair is now a work of art? Yes, it would, but it's the only way I can describe it because she's an artist. I don't typically review anything but Vivian is some kind of hair wizard! I went in to see Vivian at Salon Arcaro and was extremely pleased on all levels. I got a cut and blonde highlights and low lights. The color looks so natural and vibrant. The cut is unlike anything I have had before as it is a bob tapered up in the back. So straight and shiny! Her skill from 35 years of experience really shows. I have had so many compliments at my work that I was thinking I should just wear a sign saying, "Yes, thank you for the compliment! I love my new hair do too!" I'm not joking. I have had close to 30 people, men and women tell me it looks awesome. The Salon itself was energetic and felt like they all just clicked. I didn't see all of the drama unfolding like I did at the last Salon I visited. I typically just get the basics and don't get all the products stylists recommend but I am actually going back this evening for a Keratin treatment and to buy some products Vivian recommended. She didn't even do a pushy sales pitch on the treatment and products. She just factually told told me what I needed and why. I have been going to Salon Arcaro for about a year. I am not the type of person that just walks into a hair salon without a recommendation by a friend or at least some knowledge about them. However, one day my hair was a hot mess and I walked in to see if someone could blow it out. Well PS almost a year later here I am at salon Arcaro and I love it. MARLA does my color and cut and blow out. . She is FABULOUS! I must tell you that everyone in the salon is great. It has a very friendly atmosphere and I always feel like I'm with good friends. I come twice a week for a blow out because they are just THAT GOOD! My entire family comes here , my husband to my sister and her husband nieces ,nephews , and children .I've been to many salons and there prices are excellent. This is my second time visiting this salon. My first appt about 8 weeks ago was with Nan and she was wonderful! I booked a last minute Sunday appointment with Emily for a haircut and full foil. EMILY did an amazing job! We started worth the thought of blonde highlights and when I mentioned copper she said yeessss let's do it and she mixed up the perfect color. I have never had so many folks in my head all placed meticulously perfect. Her creativity and perfectionism made my color beautiful! Adam, the owner ended up cutting and drying my hair and his advanced cutting techniques really gave me the movement thar I needed. I saw Vivian at Salon Arcaro for the first time and she was great. When you have shorter hair, the cut is so important to keep the style looking clean and sharp. Add to that an excellent color with highlights and " whala" you get excellence! That is what I got from Vivian. She is a master at her craft and has several years of expertise that is evident in her ability to see the end result before you do. I am very particular and did my research as a new resident to GA. I wanted to find someone i could trust. I took a chance with Vivian and was very pleased with the results. She made me feel comfortable and I believed I was in competent hands. I decided to try something new and had read reviews and booked an appointment at Salon Arcaro with Vivian! I had the BEST experience there!! The atmosphere is very busy, but everyone is professional and friendly even the other clients. I cannot say enough about Vivian. She consulted with me before she started and explained what she thought my hair needed, but was very respectful.....She definitely knew what she was doing, my hair is AMAZING. I don't treat myself very often and she made me feel SO worth it! I left feeling BEAUTIFUL!!!The haircut was perfect and the color and highlights were gorgeous. I used to be the person who didn't believe in going to a salon and opted for the cheap haircuts thinking there was no difference and boy was I wrong. This salon is exactly how I imagined it would be from movies and tv. Absolutely gorgeous inside, clean, well kept, had fresh coffee and tea, and samples of amazing products for you to try! Above all though my stylist Kyle Witte was absolutely amazing! She is so talented, fast, and kind! I usually hate the awkward small talk at my haircuts but this time it felt like I was getting coffee with a friend! I started to go to Arcaro after a few frustrating visits to a salon at Avalon. My previous stylist just kept giving me the same haircut no matter how many times I told him that I wanted something different, I even showed him a picture of the kind of style that I wanted. To make it worse is that he was a "Master Stylist" that charged $75.00 for a man's cut. I have been visited Arcaro for 3 haircuts, about 4 weeks in between and really like me new cut. Adam actually gets what I want and is able to adapt it to my head shape and type of hair that I have. Also much more of a value since the cut is less expensive...but much better. So skip the fancy overpriced VM and come here! read more

My stylist is Christian and I have followed him through his career progression as I have been his client for the past 20 years. Adam is the most AMAZING stylist and colorist!!!! He can do a precision cut graduate bob dir me and I have curly hair. It's HARD. Prior to Adam, I had a TON of bad cuts throughout my life. It's a very precision, complex cut and then add curly hair to the equation. The first time I met Adam, I was nervous but he was so sweet, it set me at ease. He did the cut PERFECTLY like it was a piece of cake. He is AMAZING!!! He got my color spot on a d people would compliment my color and cut everywhere. He's phenomenal!!!! He's worth every penny. He needs a body guard because he's a gem and once you find a stylist like him, you don't moonlight and you keep him forever. read more

I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU TO MARLA at Salon Arcaro. I went on the recommendation of my sister in law after I had been to two other salons who even with a picture continued to mess my hair up. Marla was able to fix my hair in one visit. After deciding I wanted to go back to my natural dark hair, she had no trouble (or compliant) taking me from dark red to dark brown/almost black. I have been trying to grow my hair out as well and Marla only trims my hair when necessary. I honestly look forward to my appointments and that coming home feeling. One of the best salons I've ever been to. I've had my hair cut by Christian multiple times and he always makes me look fabulous! He and Adam are wonderful and do an incredible job. Last week I saw Emmy for the first time to get extensions and OHHHH my gosh they look amazing. I wanted to add some length to switch it up so we did the hand tied extensions and they look so great. Not only that, but Emmy is the sweetest and made my 3 hours at the salon so much fun and so enjoyable. I highly recommend Salon Arcaro and will definitely continue coming here. So I started going to Marla about a year ago now, and I love every single time she does my hair. I've gone from brown to blonde and back to brown and have always loved the way the color has turned out! She does amazing hair, and will give you her honest and professional opinion on what she thinks of the color you chose since i usually pinterest hair colors she will let you know it might take a second to get your hair the way you want it to be! I love how honest she is and doesn't push her services on you like some hair places can! I would pick Marla to do my hair any day and have even recommended people to try her out! read more

Adam and his team did a wonderful job cutting and coloring my hair! My hair is deceptively simple since it is naturally curly but actually, it can be tricky since it " shrinks" when it's dries. Adam did a great job with my cut. Also, he listened to what I wanted with my color and he absolutely "got it" spot on very quickly. The products they use smell great and I didn't get any tingly feeling and it didn't sting while the dye was on. I have had that in the past and I always wondered if I was allergic to the dyes. Salon Arcaro is a quality salon with an amazing staff. Adam has been doing my hair for 14 years. He does a fabulous job with my cut and color. I love that my color always looks so natural and my hair is healthy in spite of 14 years of highlights! I am so happy for Adam and Christian that they have opened their own salon. Adam is very professional and trains his staff to be professional as well. Adam and Christian continue to educate themselves and their staff on the latest in hair styling trends and quality products.
