Adrian is great. I had an awful color job and he cut it off but didn't cut my hair way too short which is what I asked. My grandmother died this past September and he colored my hair for her memorial service. He understood exactly what I asked for and even asked more questions of what type of undertone I was looking for to make sure showing me swatches making sure it was the right color I wanted. 1,000,000 praises to Adrian you are great! In March, Aeisha messed up my hair. I asked for a red to blonde ombré/balayage, but I got a red shadow root and blonde hair. She also left a bunch of red hair dye marks all over my face. They also didn't take my cash that time and made me pay with card. I was upset and even though it happened two months ago I'm still irritated. read more

I'm only giving three stars because Shannon did a good job and the place was very modern and clean. But almost $100, including tip, to cut THREE inches off my hair and frame my face??? That's so not worth it. I wonder how much their coloring processes are. I don't think I'd be coming back here again. Extra long hair is what they put me as and my hair didn't even go past my bra strap? I'm not sure if that's how all salons do it but not all salons make you pay almost $100. read more

I've been going to Dana for well over a year and this is hands down the healthiest and shiniest my hair has ever been. I've been getting so many compliments on my hair since coming to her. I have also been growing it out from a pixie which can be difficult but she kept it looking looking fabulous and super chic some how. It is now down to my shoulders and for the first time ever, I'm thinking of letting it grow past my shoulders because of how healthy and shining it looks. The worst service I have ever experienced at a Salon. I have wore Exstensions for years and never had any problem. I had my initial install after spending $2,000 they fell out within 2 weeks. Went back and s row fell out again taking my natural hair with it. My guess is the jr stylist Megan has no idea what she's doing. I was back today the week of Christmas with pictures coming up this week plus Christmas parties they will not install nor make it right. Stay clear of this salon. I've been coming to JJ Arellano for over 15 years now. He's incredibly talented and progressive. He always seems to have learned new techniques and evolved his skill set. My wife, children and most of my circle of friends have all made JJ their stylist and friend over the years. He's an awesome barber and gives all types incredible men's cuts. But that's not even his primary focus which is cut and color on women. Check him out at the Salon and you won't regret it. In addition to all that he's an extremely friendly and outgoing guy but will give you his expert opinion when it comes to hair. This salon is unlike anything I've ever seen. Walking in I felt a little uncomfortable because everyone just kind of stared at me and conversation was a little weird. When Kellie came in she started talking to me and I started to feel a little more comfortable and she was super nice and fun to talk to. The reason this place is getting a 1 star is because I'm new to the area, I found this salon on living social and I thought I would give them a shot. I was booked with Alaina and at first everything seemed fine other than she was a little late on getting to me and I was there for so long. Several times in front of me a few people would question if I had been helped or if Alaina knew I was waiting for her and Then someone would say "oh she was really early", granted I did show up for my 1:45pm appointment at 1:15 but I wasn't taken back until about 2:30... And those questions were brought up several times. Anyway, I had told Alaina that I didn't want my hair red and I didn't want it to be ashy. Once we were finished I noticed a little bit of red which I figured maybe it was just me. I kind of don't know a lot about toners but that's all that was put on the ends of my hair, no color but a little throughout and on my roots. When I got home my boyfriend pointed out how red it was. I made sure to not wash it for a few days to let it sit longer and when I did finally wash it my coworkers started pointing out that it almost looked an ashy gray color at the ends. Then it started getting worse as the week went on. I contacted the owner (who by the way was very understanding) but she couldn't fit me in until Tuesday. By Friday my best friend told me that my boyfriend was going to surprise me (which he never does) and that I had to get my hair fixed. I honestly didn't feel I could trust anyone else but the owner to fix my hair... But I also couldn't wait that long due to it looking so bad. The office manager then called today to tell me there was nothing they could do unless in a few weeks I want to come back and get it fixed or offer a discounted price on other services. Just because of the way I felt walking out of there a week ago and how things were handled in my opinion I don't feel comfortable coming back to this salon. The price that I paid for the work that was done just was a huge let down . I know on my part I probably should've waited but the more people kept pointing out how bad it was brought me to tears and the more I became desperate to just get it corrected. Again Kellie is amazing and she made me feel welcomed. I think I just had an unpleasant experience. Seeing how I can't comment on my own review.. In response to Kellie's comment because I want to make sure all facts are correct: I never once met Mandi, I have only talked to her on the phone and the only people that were at the location that day were Alaina, JJ, Laney and Kellie as well as JJ's assistant and people helping set up for her art studio. When I left I did say I liked the color to Kellie and Alaina because of poor lighting and the second I got into my I noticed it was red and ashy as well as my boyfriend when I got home that afternoon. I contacted Kellie on Facebook not a week ago... It was maybe 4 days after when I had washed it to see if it would help which I was advised to wash it a few more times. I took pictures before after and throughout the week as well as asked my co workers and friends what they thought. Unfortunately I just didn't feel comfortable with having anyone else touch it as well as contacting anyone else due to the fact of how rude people were at this salon. Which I should've known after reading the reviews at the other location. Oh well I tried... It didn't work out, no big deal... And now I'm happy with where I went. read more

I kind of felt that they were rushing up (as it happens in some nail salon) but I will give them a second try. Kind of pricey but the place is beautiful and the hairstylists talented. This time It was Dana (Ashely doesn't work there anymore) she is just awesome, I loved how she did my pixie (with a razor) with texture and dimension. I went in here today to undo some very unfortunate stuff in my hair. To get grease off of my scalp and get frizz away from hair tips. I worked with Ms. Lainey and she was absolutely wonderful. She took really good care of me. She looked at my hair and scalp, understood the texture and nature of my hair before beginning to set it right. She used the right stuff for my dry scalp and frizzy hair. They have all the natural/organic products in the salon. She let me smell 3 different conditioners before settling on using one that suited my hair type best. I came out of this salon looking fabulous. I've been getting highlights for 11 years from high end expensive salons to much cheaper and NEVER have I had more perfect highlights than the ones that Alaina did. They're as close to the root as you can possibly get and they are the absolute perfect color. I told her what I wanted and she did exactly that. I'm going back to blonde from brunette and I thought I would have to come in for multiple appointments over the next 4 months to get the desired amount of blonde I want like I've previously had to do with other salons... I've only seen him for haircuts, but I'll be going back soon for my first color with him. He's very professional and knowledgeable, yet easy going and fun. By the way, I love the salon itself. I've have been coming to this salon for two years. I had a price concern and seeing him for over a year. I didn't know that he received a promotion. No problem there. My 4 year old and 7 year old received haircuts and from the same stylist it was over $100 with tip. My husband took them, so I had questions because I was not there. That particular stylist moved away. This was in April. After that I saw Dana. No issues. Just a calendar issue booking an appointment I needed, so I decided to book with Brittany. This stylist had the salon manager call me two hours prior to my appointment to cancel because I had other "grievances" in the past. However, there was NO issue when I saw Dana.
