I went in for a Groupon for a stylist there for a balayage and one thing led to another the original lady that I originally went for was very unprofessional and unpleasant. The rest of the staff was there listening to me and hearing out what I wanted . The owner ended up trying her best to fix the situation so that I didn't go home unsatisfied. It was a few days before Christmas and my hair was a disaster. I had not had a trim in almost a year, and the 2 year old highlights were giving me an unintentional ombre look. Not a single salon had an opening, but then Salon Blush came to the rescue. My sister and mom had gone here and were very happy with their cuts, and so I called. They are usually closed on Mondays but were opening on December 23rd just for their other desperate clients. Stephanie, the owner and stylist, was able to squeeze me in. Thank the Lord! I showed Stephanie a photo of what I wanted and she made it happen. It was a pretty drastic change, cutting off about 8 inches. I love it. It was healthy again! She even gave me tips on how to style it. We chatted the entire time, and I will definitely be back to maintain this fun hairstyle. All of the stylists seem really sweet and you can tell they are like one big happy family. The salon itself is adorable, and was named by one of Stephanie's daughters. I sent her 2 pictures of how I wanted my hair cut.Stephanie said" I can cut your hair, like the picture.She sent me a text to call the salon and make a hair cut appointment. I can't speak highly enough of Stephanie S. as a hair stylist. I started coming to Salon Blush because I was looking for a salon that offered a keratin hair smoothing treatment. I had been using relaxers for about ten years and was looking for something safer and less damaging. I knew Stephanie was a responsible stylist when I called to ask about the keratin treatment, and she insisted that I come in to the salon so she could look at the condition and texture of my hair before recommending a treatment. I had previously called another salon and they said, "Yeah, anyone can do it- it's safe for all hair types." Not everyone can have chemical treatments put in their hair- hair that is damaged will not respond well to chemical treatments, only certain treatments can be used on colored hair, etc. A good stylist would not offer a chemical treatment as a "one size fits all" for everyone, so I felt relieved when Stephanie asked me to have a consultation first. After looking at my hair, Stephanie said the keratin treatment would be a good choice for my hair, and while it wouldn't make my hair as straight as a Brazilian Blowout or a relaxer, it would cause a lot less damage. I booked an appointment and was incredibly pleased with the result. Unlike Brazilian Blowouts or relaxers, which have a horrible, toxic smell and can burn the scalp, the keratin product had no odor or fumes, which made me feel very confident that it wouldn't damage my hair. The product didn't irritate my scalp at all, and my hair felt soft and healthy when the treatment was done. Relaxers left my hair feeling dry, and it would become brittle and break. The keratin product didn't dry out my hair, and while I still had to blow-dry it to achieve a straight style, it cut my styling time down by a lot. I have been coming to get keratin treatments for about a year and a half now, and I've also had Stephanie highlight my hair. She does a great job of blending the highlights in for a subtle, natural look as opposed to streaky stripes. Every time I come in I also get a trim or haircut, and I'm always happy with the result. I definitely recommend Salon Blush for beauty services- the environment is relaxing, the staff is friendly and the prices are fair. In addition to hair services from Stephanie, I have also had a Shellac manicure from Shirley, the resident nail artist, and it was beautiful and lasted two weeks without chipping. read more

The owner Stephanie is THE most amazing hair dresser I have EVER had! She's so sweet and does such an amazing job! From the first appointment with her I knew I had found the right hair dresser for me. She's very professional and friendly and her salon is always very clean. All the other hair dressers are amazing and helpful. I normally Only have her do my highlights but after long consideration I had her put in the keratin extensions. Because my hair is two different shades from the highlighting she had to personally mix the hair for me. The hair length and colors would have cost $900+ but she did it for a much lower price. They lasted 5 months and were amazing! People who didn't know my hair was short before even knew I had gotten them! They were perfect! When she took them out for me she did a great job taking them out gently and easily and did absolutely no damage to my hair! I cannot stress how amazing she is! I came here after doing my fair of research for the perfect hairdresser because I haven't gotten my hair cut in three years after having my kid. Having experienced bad hair cuts in the past I was very cautious about getting it cut again. On the recommendation of a friend I decided to check this place out and do some research. After finally getting the courage to jump in and just do it, I booked an appointment with ms Stephanie, the owner. Right when I walked in the ambiance itself was awesome. It had a modern feel without being too trendy or overpowering. Everyone was super helpful and accommodating offering mimosas, water, or coffee. I chose water and got it in a cute wine glass. You could tell service was of utmost importance. After being introduced to ms Stephanie, I was taken to my seat and she asked me what I wanted. I told her ill trust her to do anything and we decided on layers and cutting of my nasty dead hair. After a shampoo and wash. She began to cut. I could tell customers seemed to come back for her because she knew most of her clientele and it seemed that she had already built a great relationship with anyone who walked in through the door. After my cut was finished I was thoroughly impressed. My hair was beyond what I had imagined and she is a true artist. It was not what i expected at all. It exceeded my expectations. I will come back when I have more time for coloring and such but for now that was all I could do with time. Pricing was a bit up there but you pay for quality and that was truly a quality experience from the amazing cut to the customer service.
