My hair is naturally brown, but I have grays coming in, which makes coloring even trickier because I need gray coverage while still keeping dimensional highlights that look natural. Heart took the time to really understand my hair and, over the years, developed the perfect formula for me. She somehow manages to cover the grays beautifully without it looking harsh or obvious as it grows out, while also keeping my highlights dimensional and free of the brassy/orange tones. What's even more impressive is how much healthier my hair has become since seeing her. She's incredibly knowledgeable about hair health and has taught me so much about how to properly care for my hair over the years. My mom also goes to her and has learned a lot from her as well. One thing I really appreciate is that the client never feels pressured to buy products or upsold on things you don't need. She genuinely loves what she does and truly cares about helping people understand and care for their hair. The biggest game changer for me has been her Hair Blessings leave-in conditioning spray. It has genuinely helped heal both my hair and my daughter's hair, and my hair has never been healthier or more manageable. She reached out to me via DM and offered to help me with my hair-mergency. I previously went to a salon in Falls Church where my hair was cut unevenly(one side longer than the other/thinner than the other), severely thinned out at the bottom and given choppy "layers"(if you could even call them that. Initially I wasn't able to tell walking out of the salon due to the way the stylist had blew out my hair - it was only when I washed it for the first time that I noticed it. I was too embarrassed to even take photos of my hair and tried to hide it the best I could by curling it again for work. Julie did an amazing job saving what she could of my hair. She evened out the bottom as best as it could be (there is still some thinness/patchiness just due to the previous stylist) but I couldn't be more grateful for her time and work. If you're ever in need of a great service, I highly recommend seeing Julie and taking advantage of her 20+ years of knowledge/experience.

She really listened to me and made sure I was okay with how things were looking throughout the entire process. I can't thank Tricia enough for transforming my hair from way too long, dead, flat and unhealthy to a much more full, healthy, face framing look. She understood exactly what I was asking for and executed! The location was cozy and casual and I knew I was in good hands right off the bat. The salon is on the second floor and easy to find if you are looking for the coffee shop in the plaza. It's one of those locations you'll probably drive by the first time but once you find it it's easy to remember.

My hair looks no different, and I truly hate it, and I hate the word hate! I am not happy at all, and I wasted a lot of money! My fight or flight kicked in, and I should have listened to myself and walked out. Instead, I let them wear me down, and ended up paying over $100 to have something done that is not what I wanted and not even close to what I booked my appointment for, and I am so disappointed it's not even funny. It's one thing to give an unsolicited opinion and even to explain why you have that opinion, but it's another to basically bully someone into your idea of how you think they should look! It's ultimately the individual's choice as to how they want their own hair colored unless, of course, you waive all rights, which I did not, or if my life was in jeopardy by getting it colored how I wanted, which it was not. Beyond disappointed & I do not recommend this place at all! Beware!!!
