Went and asked for a gel dip refill on my nails they said oh yeah yeah yeah yeah took the gel off my nails and then used acrylic to fill my nails. They never had the gel dip powder. I picked out a color and they brought over a nail polish to put on my nails do not go here for a gel dip Refill and they charged me $60. Do not go there. read more

I have been faithfully patronizing this salon every 2 weeks for nearly 5 years. Since reopening after COVID, the customer service has gone downhill. Appointment times are no longer honored and today I was expected to wait 1 hour beyond my appointment time. To make matters worse, I was not greeted when I walked into the salon and given a heads-up and the option to wait or reschedule. It's been almost a year since reopening. I've let so many little things slide, but today was the last. After many years, I will not be returning. read more

Literally the worst place to get your nails done. Came in for a gel manicure/pedicure. Left there with just doing cuticles and pedicure done. Didn't even let the nail tech finish my manicure. I had long natural nails and the tech ruined them. She over filed my nailed as I told her not to file too much, her response repeatedly was that my nails were too weak and she cut them down. She barely removed all the polish from nails and tried to add another color to it. I told her no and didn't let her finish my nails. I've added 1 before picture and 3 after pictures of how my nails were destroyed! Never again. If no stars was an option that's what I would've chosen. read more

I really wanted to love this place. Two stars because the woman I was with really tried her best to give me a good experience and because they took me promptly as a walk in unlike what other reviews have said. However I will not be back to this establishment. The woman who did my nails was friendly enough, but once the salon got busier with more walk ins she rushed through my appointment where I just told her to skip the hand massage because she was focused elsewhere. My cuticles looked horrible upon arriving home and I'm not sure if it is related but since going there I have had a huge rash on my hand. The polish started chipping and lifting after one week and she started so far from the cuticle that the paint job looks 3 weeks old instead of one week. I am really disappointed because the location and hours are so convenient for me. I would not recommend this salon and am still on the hunt for my go to salon! read more

This is the best nail shop in the Braintree/Weymouth/Quincy area. $45 for a GEL mani &a SPA pedi. Cannot beat the prices. The customer service is amazing. One time they re-did my entire gel manicure due to a poor job by a staff member (that staff is no longer there) - for free! My nails and toes always last so long (3 weeks). They never chip and they never lift. I have been going here faithfully for 6 years. I'll never go anywhere else. I love Mai Lien! She is so good to her customers! read more

Hands down, my favorite and go-to salon. The owner usually does my gel manicure and pedicure, which lasts for a month. I walked in today for 2 pedicures and both of our technicians took their time with ensuring our cuticles were cut to perfection, massages were in no rush and super relaxing. Cleanliness of the salon is a 10/10, everything including tools were brand new and non reusable. Customer service was great, quiet and HGTV was on, so that was a PLUS (for me, haha). My Mother doesn't live real close to me so I was trying to find a place that was halfway so we could start getting our nails done together, ya know just a fun little Mother/daughter thing to do every couple of weeks. I was going to give this place a try so I called to see what their prices are. I asked how much a gel mani/pedi was because that's what my Mother wanted and for myself ( I'm in between getting pink & white or acrylic ) I asked how much a full set/fill acrylic was & when I went to ask about the pink and white the lady got all pissy and told me to just come to the store. I told her that I live a half hour away but since she got so pissy about me asking what her prices were that I'm all set & won't be going there at all now. She could've had 2 new regular customers but not anymore. If she was busy then she could've atleast said as much in a nice manner which she didn't say she was and asked if I could call back or she could've called me back but instead she chose to be extremely rude. Giving customers a major attitude and being rude is not exactly good customer service or a way to bring in new business. I called Ocean Nails & Spa & she was very pleasant & had no problems giving me the prices, that's where we will be going. If the women I spoke to at Mai Lien reads this then I hope for your own sake or the owners if your'e not it that you won't be so rude to people in the future, it's clearly not good for business. Cute new salon in weymouth landing. It's very clean, decor is modern, staff is nice. Lots of color options, good prices (they've been running the longest Grand Opening special I've ever seen- $20 for 80 min pedi with hot stones and a great massage).They have 2 mini chairs for little girls too which is super cute. Only real complaints are that wait times are pretty excessive since they rarely have enough staff and their drying "area" needs help. It's just a pile of dryers and little chairs they constantly reconfigure. If you can catch this place during a slow time you'll be happy for sure, so its worth a try. read more

Tried this place out a few days ago based off its reviews and I wasn't disappointed! I got a gel manicure and the woman who did my nails took her time and the manicure was meticulous. They even gave me a massage while my nails were drying which my old salon did not do. A ton of nail polish colors to choose from. Place is tiny I made an appointment based off what other people said since they only have a handful of manicure and pedicure spots and 2 tiny pedi chairs for kids.
