My daughter had her Senior Prom Saturday the 27. One of the most important nights in her life!!! I thought I would have her hair professionally done!!! We called and scheduled an appointment two weeks before. We were suppose to get a professional hair artist. We had an appointment with Brandy when we got there another beautitian came and got us. Brandy was running behind and couldnt do my daughters hair. The beautician acted like she was unsure of what she was doing. My daughter showed he the photos front and back she said no problem. she pulled the sides up and curled the back left alot of stragly hair straight in the back I pointed it out she didnt correct it then the hair up front on my daughters forehead she curled and said we would do something with it later. Another beautitian came over to tell her she had another appt waiting. She put my daughters bangs in a braid!!!!! Which she had here bangs in!!! And didnt put finishing spray to hold the curls!!!!! By the time my daughter got to ameristar her hair was straight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I paid $55.00 for this!! Makes me sick to my stomach!!!!!!!!! Never again!!!!!!! My daughter was crushed!!!!!! As you can see her hair was straight an hour in half later!!!!! Definatly not worth it. I had a wonderful experience on Monday from start to finish. For the first time in my 37 years I had a massage with Gabrielle, she was great, explained to me what she was going to do step by step, she asked me for feedback to make it more effective. Second appointment was a first time facial with Ashley, she was there to answer all my questions about what was going on, and then last but not least was my cut and full foils with Eden. She was a real trooper, she spent 3 hours with me, and even sliced her finger while cutting my hair, mended herself up and continued working. She did a wonderful job and was very friendly. I was very happy, within minutes of leaving, I had another woman compliment my hair. I would definitely recommend you guys!! I look forward to coming back on a more regular basis! read more

This is where I, my son and both daughters get hair cuts. The place is an open room salon and neatly kept. We do not get our hair cut by the same people every time so we've experienced the skills many of the stylists. There are junior stylists (less expensive/newer) and senior stylists (more expensive/experienced). I'd say most know what they're doing and we've been satisfied with most of the stylists. I've left there a couple of times not thrilled with the way my son's style looked. Those times it was the same senior stylist. I just don't make an appointment with her anymore. Everyone is lovely though, it's always a pleasant experience. My son really likes the soda machine and the hot chocolate machine they offer. They also offer massages that my daughters have said are enjoyable. read more

My husband and I followed our stylist Nicole from another salon to the West Clay location several years ago. Of course we love Nicole, who always does an amazing job, but the service all around is great! We are always greeted with smiles and offered a refreshment while we wait for our appointment time. I have also used their spa services and again have always been happy with them all..facials, massages, mani/pedis, they even have a spa package that includes lunch! We had a problem once with scheduling (our appointment was not in the computer) and the owner or manager gave us free hair services to compensate our inconvienece. This salon cares about the clients. I like there products, people and knowledge. I have used them for years and they are the best. I referred someone to them because this individual had big white heads under her lip. She had gone to the doctor and had used medication for months to it to release and it would not. I took her there and after one visit it was gone within a few days. These white heads where a size of a lentil and deap. They did not make her feel bad about it and even educated her. I have been going there for 12 years and they know how to deal with changes that take place with hormonal changes. The staff is nice and friendly! This salon provides quality services with top notch staff. Kelly at the West Clay location did my hair for my wedding day and it turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined (she also does great cut and color too)! We had 6 bride,aids, flower girl, mom of bride , mom of groom and a bride in for hair and make up Saturday morning. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. They had a table for our snacks with a welcome sign. All the stylist did a great job and Wren did an amazing job for the bride. We had a small issue and they took care of it immediately and to our satisfaction. Their prices were good, my daughter did a lot of research and found their prices to be some of the best in St. Louis. We like supporting local businesses and I would recommend this salon. read more

This was hands down the best spa experience I've ever had. The massage was awesome and very relaxing! I also tried the body polish and that was great! It made my skin really soft. You can't go wrong with any stylist either, but I usually get my hair with KJ and she has talent! Kristin Stewart knows about any product and all of their ingredients! Salon de Christe is the ONLY salon and spa I will frequent in the STL area. Gabrielle in their massage department gives the greatest massages I've ever experienced. Very friendly and warm - we worth requesting. Not a huge fan of the layout of the hair section, but that's really the only complaint that i have. Prices are affordable, customer service is amazing and the location is convenient. 5 stars for sure. read more
