I actually phoned this salon on a Sunday afternoon and to my surprise? Jim the owner answered my call .He was very accommodating since I would be driving in from Lake Havasu . The appointment was actually for my girlfriend Jessie. I did some research on line and the reviews were very nice and recent. I inquired about some of the stylist I had read about but Jim informed me those people were booked but yet? He commented that all his staff were all good stylists and that me too would be posting good reviews !! So we drove to Henderson and met with a very nice person Drea who actually greeted us in a very enthusiastic way. Of course she spent some time with Jessie discussing her needs and options plus suggestions for further enhancing the finished look? Drea was very methodical and very clearly with lots of skill and experience . She initiated the process with a very nice hair trim , followed by shampooing and then proceeded to actually create all these different highlights that were then wrapped in aluminum foil . This process was time consuming but at the end it really resulted in Jessie having an awesome hair masterpiece if I can call it that ? Jessie is still very happy with the work and I'm sure she's just become a regular client at Dushons Salon. UPDATE: HAD TO BLOCK THE manger, Jim's, phone number to keep him from harassing me. So upset. Went in to have the BACK ONLY trimmed, and asked Beverly NOT TO TOUCH the front, as it had finally grown below my shoulders. She took 4 INCHES OFF. Per her request, I kept my chin down to my chest so she could work on the back, but "accidentally" took off all of the front and the back. I'm shocked that someone with a license who does this hack job is still employed and is cutting hair. Of course I stupidly paid and tipped, because the most intimidating place for a woman is not the dentist or a doctor's office. It's the hair salon. I cannot Say enough about salon Dushons customer service. I felt very heard my whole appointment and my hairstylist was awesome. Her name was lang, She did such a great job. I am fLooted how well this looks. I have never had so many compliments and feel so good. She listened to me. She did not rush she took her time. She cut my hair to the length that I wanted not super short, which a lot of these places do. I was so impressed. I would recommend this salon to anybody. They definitely get five stars. I tried this salon based on the reviews I read. My hair is frizzy/curly and there has only been one hair stylist I loved and trusted. And he's in Hawaii! I moved here about 5 years ago and would fly back to Hawaii specifically to get my hair done. But travel expenses are increasing. I went to a few hairstylist here in Las Vegas and never went back. My hair is just so hard for most stylist to work with. With that being said, I am so glad that I took the chance and made an appointment with Dushons. The customer service was excellent from the time I made my appointment to the time in paid and stepped out of the salon. Jerome was my stylist and he did an amazing job on my color and cut. As a response to the owner: the first red flag comes from the way you are so polite via private message (which I just saw today), but so defensive and angry on your public response to me. I will leave a photo of your DM to me because your tone is so drastically different it's creepy. But let me break it down for you bestie :) 1) You just changed the price on your website to say $330 which is very weird considering the day I walked in, I showed the employee ON MY PHONE, the website that said "$300". The worker literally acknowledged it, and apologized for the inconvenience and said that the boss made an error a long time ago but never fixed it. That's why I said, you should honor the price on your website. After she said she couldn't I just left, but magically after this review the website is updated to match the owners narrative. Hmm ... Once she said she can't honor the website price, which she LITERALLY saw on my phone to say $300 which is why she apologized to me, I walked out and said "no thank you" because why would I argue with someone who said she can't change the price, that is a waste of time. Instead I opted to leave a review instead, hope "there is no confusion here". 2) The worker called the boss in front of me and started by asking "who could do the hair straightening" because even she didn't know who could do the service. Which is weird considering it's on your website but your own employee doesn't know how to do the service, or which coworker could do it. Immediately after she asked the boss the price, the worker told me "my boss said it will be $395". Without even saying my hair texture or length, right off the bat that was the price the boss gave the employee. How at any point would this price depend on the length or texture if 1) the employee didn't even tell the boss this information about me and 2) the boss wasn't even physically there to see my hair and quote a price? So yes, $395 was the price they gave without any consideration toward hair length or texture because that wasn't even in the equation. 3) The day I came in I did call thrice, which is why I went in person to speak to someone since nobody was answering. I didn't even share my personal number as I just saw the message today, and I called a few times within the past few weeks but every time it was never answered. You can respond but honestly I don't care to argue with you. Your 1 star review responses are all so defensive and weird as well. Have the day you deserve, truly. read more

Emily is amazing!!.. she did a keratin treatment on my hair. Now in Las Vegas my very bushy hawaiian hair becomes straight there with the dry weather already... so I thought the real test is when I get back home with the humidity we got here and OMG did it work!!!
