While I can understand where they may be coming from I promise it's like hanging out with your friends. You just have to get to know their internal banter I promise it's not personal. Aside from that, they take really good care of my pedicures. I never get cuts. They are so gentle while being thorough and clean. Eventually, one lady agreed and asked if I wanted regular or gel. When I said regular, she paused, sighed, and then they all burst into laughter. They made a few jokes I didn't fully hear, but by then my feelings were already hurt and I just wanted to leave. The vibes were so off already. She started running my water, but I said I needed to grab my medication from home so I could exit the situation gracefully. She gave me extreme attitude and asked when I'd be back, but the answer is N E V E R. Her response was so disrespectful and condescending that I wouldn't return even if it were free. I'm glad I trusted my instincts and went elsewhere. Maybe some clients don't mind nasty attitudes, but I did absolutely nothing to deserve being treated that way. Apparently just wanting simple polish was enough. If this is how they treat people who come in anxious and shy, I can't imagine how they'd act if there were an actual issue. Maybe their regulars are people who spend $100+ a visit, but I didn't realize it was unwelcome to want a basic pedicure. Not everyone can afford the luxury options; some of us just want to feel a little better after a long day. I'm so disappointed and hurt.

I found this little gem hidden in this shopping center. These ladies are amazing and sweet and they did take me in without any question. The Technician did a beautiful job! I mentioned the thickness, he said they are always thick, he just ignored me. I've had acrylic nails many times, a good nail technician knows how to eliminate the thickness. Wish they allowed pictures, which shows all the flaws. I'm puzzled by the darkness under my nails, as they are clean? This review is for management…read more I've been going to Social Nail Bar for about 2 years now, and Michelle does my pedicures exactly the way I like it. I can read without feeling rude, and the pedicure (with regular polish) lasts 3-4 weeks with nary a chip. My brother's wedding is this weekend, so on Friday I decided to get gel cat eye nails in addition to my regular pedicure. The pedicure was amazing as always, but the manicure was just awful. She didn't take me back until 30 minutes after my appointment time, so maybe she was running behind, but there was a visible gap between my cuticle and where the polish began. I thought I could just deal with it, but when every person I met over the next couple of days pointed out the gap, I knew I had to get it taken care of. Luckily, Social Nail Bar has a 7-day repair policy posted in the waiting area, right? Nope. Every technician I showed the nails to said that's how it's supposed to look and refused to fix it. I finally just booked a gel color change to get my nails looking presentable. Don ended up fixing my nails today and explained that sometimes the cat eye polish shrinks up, and recommended some polishes that wouldn't shrink. He took extra care to ensure that my nails looked good, and was overall lovely. The front desk lady tried to help me get a discount on my services, but management refused. She was also lovely. I ended up paying $120 for a basic gel manicure and a beautiful regular pedicure. Plus, the $30 in tips because I'm not going to stiff the manicurists just because managment sucks. If they had just admitted it looked bad and offered to fix it, I would've been fine. Everyone has an off day. That's what the policy should be for. Not to mention, I asked for a repair multiple times, was denied, finally agreed to the color change, and then was told upon checkout that since I got a different service, they couldn't comp the service. Anyway, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place any longer. Which is too bad, because again, Michelle gives the best pedicures ever.

He literally dug at my cuticles with his thumbnail to separate the cured gel from my skin...painful and gross!!! The shop was clean and the owner seemed to care when I gave him my feedback after service, but even for free I wouldn't go back. I went in for a gel fill. I had to point out multiple times that a couple of them had lifted and needed to have the gel removed where it was loose. At checkout for the $55 fill they tried to charge me an extra $5 for repairing the three lifted nails. Seriously??? I don't have tips, and my nails are barely longer than my fingertips...maybe 1/16th of an inch long so fixing them was no different than filling them.

The have leather massaging chairs to help your relax. The prices are decent not too expensive. Also Jessica is a delight, she works the front desk and various other tasks.
