Tbh, I might actually like Honey Bee better than the place I usually go because pricing is more transparent (and comparable), and I can schedule online, which is something I can't do at my usual place but, as an introvert, something I always wished I could do. I feel like there might be less polish options than other places here, but I get overwhelmed with too many options anyway, so that wasn't really a negative for me. They had OPI, and that's all I needed. I got just a plain no-chip with a party nail, short and square, but from the looks of other photos, it appears they can do some pretty intricate designs as well. I was too nervous to ask for it this time, but I might want to look into that more in the future. Additional points for being close to Target, PetCo, and Jewel, so I can get all my errands completed in one day. I'm pretty sure I'll be back, maybe even as a regular. During my dip manicure, the nail tech repeatedly dug her short nail into the sides of my fingers. There was also an awkward seating issue -- the nail tech's legs were positioned under my chair, making it unclear where I was supposed to place my own legs. I've never experienced that before, and combined with the discomfort during the service, it added to an already unpleasant experience. The nails were cut extremely short and filed very rounded, more like a child's nail shape than a modern dip manicure. The color selection also feels outdated and doesn't reflect current trends. Pedicures here are just okay, but overall I've found that consistency and technique vary significantly between nail techs. Bonus there is a dog sometimes dogs. Today I had Justina and she's great. With few people working Sue always manages to get it done in a timely manner with quality on top. K Dramas are also relaxing.
