I went to visit a friend and she was getting a cut from another loft (she was amazing) so I booked the first person available at the same time. What a mistake I made. I get it, hair grows back but man this person messed my hair up. He doesn't know how to use clippers, so how does he do buzz cuts or fades? He can't cut curly hair but claims to be a master stylist. If you're a master stylist, you know how to do it all. I walked out looking worse from walking in after slept on curly hair. I've tried contacting him but he never replies and I've tried requesting a refund on venmo, which I should have avoided at all costs. In the end, Brandon Bayer in loft 6 is not worth the cost he charges. He would be better at Great Clips to at least get some experience with other styles than a trim. read more

I love this place. It's clean and well lit. Pretty brilliant to have so many different cosmetologists in one place. Jenessa is always great. She cuts and colors mine and my sons hit whenever I'm In town visiting family. She lets you know what she thinks would look best and if you tell her what you have in mind she is great at making your hair look amazing. She is great with kids, she used to work at a children's salon so that helps a lot. My son used to hate getting his hair cut, now he wants it cut any time I go to get my hair done. Can't wait to come back, might try something a bit different next time, maybe a shorter cut...maybe... I kind of like my hair long and purple! read more

my hair is so uneven. I spent $63 plus tip for a few Inches cut off. I have to go get my hair fixed.

Place is a joke. My mother is in a very fixed income and was told one price for a hair treatment that was already expensive for her at $300 and the woman there screwed it all up and then made her pay another $280 to fix it. If that wasn't already bad enough her hair still isn't the way they agreed on and she is very upset and didn't know what to do when she was told she had to pay for it. This place is trash and is filled with all independent contractors that do as they please and don't stand behind their work. read more

ZERO STARS for Brandon Bayer-he apparently was on drugs and insulted us from the get-go then proceeded to turn my daughters roots a fire red, and the blonde green. Four hours later I had to call his "realtor" business card to find him because he went outside to "smoke" or whatever, and my daughter was under the heat with green haircolor on her roots for 15 minutes or more and I started to worry her hair would fall out from all the processing. I asked a stylist nearby for help, she came over and looked and said "I don't know what this is. You're coming with me" and helped us wash her out with dawn dish soap but we left with green/grey hair. I feel for Brandon because he isn't quite right, has some drug problems, and I don't recall a license hanging on his wall. SALON LOFTS-do better at screening your lessees-he has to go. He is hurting your clients and reputation. Just for fun: He even said to me "well you're the one that booked online. I'm doing my best..." WTH? I can't get a phone number to reach out to corporate, only a Contact form for stylists who want a loft. Worst experience of my life I think. We were scared to leave and asked a nice person to walk out with us. He was pissed and sticking his finger in my face that he didn't know her hair would pull red, but my daughter told him, he was just too drugged out to remember. I'm still in shock how bad this was. Horrible customer service. I took my child there for a haircut over spring break. Janessa's daughter was with her, which I didn't mind until she started saying very sexual things to my child. When I asked Jenessa to please have her daughter stop talking that way, my child didn't know what those terms or saying were, Jenessa started cussing at her daughter. I was so embarrassed. The hair cut was ok, but very rushed. Jenessa kept taking personal phone calls during the entire 20 minutes we were there and didn't give the full attention to my child she should have. As someone who is supposed to specialize in children's haircuts, it isn't a very child friendly environment. Plus her rates are very very expensive for a child's cut. read more

Really wish this salon loft trend would end. Going to a full service salon where people actually interact with each other is just such a better experience. I've been seeing my hairstylist for years but that small loft makes me feel so claustrophobic! I don't like the set up at all. read more
