She handed me one and again I repeated,I have another prescription. She unapologetically told me, "well it's not here." While standing there, I looked at my app, and it said the prescription was at a different Walgreens. I looked at the pharmacist and said, "has this ever happened before?" She said yes. I told her this is very inconvenient. She just stared at me. No apology, no thank you, have a nice day, just complete disregard for a customer. Horrendous customer service! However, it provided NO help whatsoever in removing my dark pigmentation or melasma. I initially sought treatment for melasma. The laser treatment was completely ineffective, and the subsequent Enlighten Depigmentation System triggered a severe full-body rash approximately 2.5 years ago. The rash was so intense that it required rocky and enormous medical helps to calm it down. After that difficult period, I managed my skin issue on my own. Through more than 2.5 years of focused self home care, I successfully cleared approximately 99% of my melasma using a simple daily regimen centered on Vanicream products. The results came entirely from my self home treatment -- NOT from this facility. A. For Professionals: If a client discloses that they have sensitive skin, I strongly recommend implementing a 72-hour patch test followed by a 5-day monitoring period as a standard precautionary step. This is far more effective than relying solely on a liability waiver. B. For Future Customers: Laser treatments or chemical peels might provide temporary surface-level improvement and a short-term glow, but if underlying internal factors (such as toxin accumulation) are not addressed, pigmentation issues like melasma are very likely to return. In my case, the clinical treatments from this facility offered zero benefit and instead caused a severe reaction. C. Key Recommendations from My Experience: a. Sun Protection: Practice absolute, consistent sun protection every day. b. Dietary Focus: - Avoid highly processed foods - Minimize high-sugar foods - Reduce high-salt intake - Eat plenty of green vegetables and a wide variety of colorful produce c. Maintain well-balanced daily nutrition d. Incorporate Vitamin C serum into your skincare routine e. Stress Management: Incorporate daily meditation and deep breathing exercises to support overall detoxification. This journey reinforced that sustainable skin health comes from gentle, consistent self home effort and internal wellness -- NOT from the treatments I received at this facility at all.

This is a review of the practice itself and not of any particular doctor. I was given a…read moreprescription by a doctor in this practice and I said clearly that the drug should contain no dyes. The doctor understood this, so I thought I that my directions would be honored. But when I received the drug, it was dyed pink. This exact same drug (in extended release form) did indeed exist in a non-dyed form. But the undyed form had not been requested by the doctor's office. I spent loads of my time trying to get this issue resolved, calling the practice several times, calling the pharmacy, hearing verbatim from the pharmacy the prescription directions called in, and clearly, the prescription was called in incorrectly. All this was extremely frustrating. The "technician" did finally call in the correct prescription AFTER first calling in the incorrect prescription, but the pharmacy said that the drug had been issued, they could not refund the money, and they could not correct the issue with the insurance. In exasperation I finally called the practice manager for Dermatological Care, and the practice manager tried calling the pharmacy but, in the end, seemed to me to want to cover for the practice, saying the prescription was called in correctly. INDEED IT WAS NOT INITIALLY CALLED IN CORRECTLY. In the end, I had to pray for a second prescription (ie, paying twice for the same drug) because the practice refused to take responsibility for its error. Calling in the correct prescription AFTER the original one was issued is not a solution! I will not use this practice again because I do not want to be involved with nor support any practice which will not take responsibility for its own errors. As far as I am concerned, this practice owes me an apology and about $59.00.
