I decided to book a massage as a birthday gift to myself. The massage was horrible and left me confused and annoyed. The pressure was so inconsistent it was bizarre. The therapist was Sparrow. I told her medium pressure. Half the time the pressure was nice and other half it was excruciatingly hard and she used her elbows. Then on my feet, she used feather light touch and at one point stopped the massage for several seconds and I thought maybe she fell asleep. Of all the places on the body, you're going to use that light of touch on the feet? She massaged one thigh, not the other, didnt to the hands at all. It was a bad massage and I'm not going back for any service ever again. Waste of $80 and 2 hours of my day. When I checked out, the girl at the desk asked how it was and I said "umm....ok." and didn't leave a tip. They didnt ask any further questions. Sure i could have communicated about the pressure, but I feel like she is untrained, not really licensed or just doesn't care about doing a good job.

She started the appointment by asking about my skin concerns, allergies, and any products I'm currently using, which made me feel really comfortable and cared for. The express facial with dermaplane that I booked via Classpass was about 30 minutes - quick, efficient, and perfect if you're short on time. I walked out with such a fresh, glowing face! Perla even gave me a sample of one of the products she used since my skin responded really well to it, which I appreciated. They carry full-size versions of their skincare products, so it's easy to pick something up at the front desk if you like what was used during your treatment. P.S.: try the ANFISA ceramide packed lipgloss (that they just got in) and thank me and Perla later! The location is further north in town with easy parking, which is always a plus. When I walked in I was greeted and checked in. I completed my paperwork and was off to get my brows shaped and tinted. It's been almost 3 years since I'd had microblading done but the shape is still there and Brennan used that as a guide to reshape my brows and then added tint. I let her choose the color since she's the expert and she did great! My brows look amazing! The lounge, salon, office? Not sure what to call it but it's bright and inviting. The front and the room we used were super clean. I was so comfortable and we had a great conversation while my treatment was being completed. I'd definitely recommend Laser Skin Lounge!
