I've been going to this salon for over years now, on & off. Recently steady for the last year though. In that last year I've seen 8 nail techs. Seems like nobody stays for some reason. I've had a nail tech not be there because they did a beverage run. Since it was 15 mins past my appointment I left and just went to work. No discount even for my next appointment. I also was sent a text to change my appointment that I made weeks in advance for a vacation, to come in the day before. Other nail techs I didn't even see the following visit because they had quit already. And even had my appointment cancelled one day because it was booked wrong by the front desk. When I addressed this with the owner she laughed it off like it wasn't a problem & blamed the young staff she hired. Well then be more selective or do proper training. Next.... I had recently lost my hairdresser of 14 yrs so decided to give their salon a shot. Within one week my highlights had faded. I reached out to the salon and was told that happens with bold colors. That never happened with my old hairdresser. So I went in and had it redone. I was told this was a courtesy, one time only to redo. The second time it was done I had the same issue. It was the cheap products the salon uses. Now I'm having to do extra treatments done to my hair to get it back to healthy. You get what you pay for here. read more

Absolutely don't recommend this place. I came here because my mom gave me a gift card to have a relaxing day and absolutely had a horrible experience. The lady doing my pedicure seemed very inexperienced and filed my gel down that I had on and left my nails thin. I thought to trust the process but she continued on to do my scrub and absolutely cut my ankle. The french tip was horrendous. I've never spoken up about a service because one has never been this bad but I had to tell her something because I truly was about to break out into tears. Then I told her she could do a solid color because I didn't like the french. I also asked if she could fix my big toe shape because as you can see in photos, she didn't do that right either. I ended up having to take the file and do it myself. She said it was her first time ever doing a french and blamed the polish. She proceeded to do a clumpy horrible mess with the solid color. Another nice lady then had to come over and tried to fix it but she still flooded my cuticles. Sadly I still have a credit to return here but I won't come in for the nails unless someone else will do it. The lady at the front also never apologized and charged me $75 dollars. $65 for gel pedi and $10 for my removal even though I ended up getting a gel and have never been charged for gel removal when I get gel again. No apologies or anything or an adjustment for the inconvenience. I was there way too long for such poor work. read more

I made an appointment for any stylist to cut my hair since it was my first time there. I talked about what I wanted, about 3-4 inches cut off my very long hair. We decided it would land at the top of my breast. I told her I had naturally wavy, curly hair. What I got was a cut that landed on top of my shoulders. I didn't want any layers, but I told her that I did want to be able to put it in a ponytail. I feel like she either didn't listen to me or she didn't know how to adjust the length when cutting wet curly hair. read more

I've been going here once or twice a year for several years. I've gotten massages, facials and haircuts. Last year I got a great massage. I decided to book a massage as a birthday gift to myself. The massage was horrible and left me confused and annoyed. The pressure was so inconsistent it was bizarre. The therapist was Sparrow. I told her medium pressure. Half the time the pressure was nice and other half it was excruciatingly hard and she used her elbows. Then on my feet, she used feather light touch and at one point stopped the massage for several seconds and I thought maybe she fell asleep. Of all the places on the body, you're going to use that light of touch on the feet? She massaged one thigh, not the other, didnt to the hands at all. It was a bad massage and I'm not going back for any service ever again. Waste of $80 and 2 hours of my day. When I checked out, the girl at the desk asked how it was and I said "umm....ok." and didn't leave a tip. They didnt ask any further questions. Sure i could have communicated about the pressure, but I feel like she is untrained, not really licensed or just doesn't care about doing a good job. read more

First off I heard every car and motorcycle pass by while getting a massage which was supposed to be relaxing, but due to their music cutting on and off during my treatment, it made it very impossible to enjoy. Secondly afterwards I paid via Zelle since there would be a card fee if I paid via card. The young lady provided me the email to make payment which I did for $99 and showed her the confirmation on my banking app. Well unfortunately the next day I received a txt stating payment wasn't received, so I asked the person was it the correct email on my screenshot of the payment and they replied, yes, but asked if I could resend since they didn't get it, I advised ok and resent the payment once again and provided screenshot of payment reflecting they needed to accept the payment. So I went about my day which by the way Iam a business owner myself so very busy. Well low and behold 1 week later I receive a phone call from metro police dept of a complaint of fraud to this company and Iam like are you kidding me for $99. I advised I paid not once but actually 3 times to this company and after checking my account it was still pending, I advised the officer my side and he mentions to me he has our txt and that the email was indeed the wrong one. So now Iam like is this owner incompetent or what, since I previously asked was it correct. I advised the officer I will cxl the payment and walk it in on that day. Wht really surprises me is I had been a previous client for many years since 2018 or 19 and was treated like a criminal. They will no longer get my business nor any of my friends nor family whom I had referred over the years. Sad that this went dwn like this but Iam done. Disclaimer: I am a former resort spa director with a massage therapy license so I notice things a lot of people may not. I have auditioned many massage therapists and estheticians over the course of my career so I have very discerning standards. Why did I go here? I got a gift card. I booked online and found the web booking platform to be very easy to use. The prices are fair. The Receptionist was very sweet and did a great job. As I was checking in, there was a massage therapist standing by the front desk having a phone conversation that was not work related. At one point she said "if she has two babies, they'll kill one." I found this to be unprofessional and inappropriate. Just then, the receptionist introduced this therapist as Sparrow and said she would be giving me my massage. Sparrow appears to be visually impaired as she requires use of a cane. Massage therapy is an excellent career for someone without full vision as it is 90% touch based. Perhaps she didn't see me at the desk and would not have had this conversation had she known I was there. We'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Sparrow was wearing flip flops which are not the most professional, and they made noise as she moved during the massage. The room appeared to be dirty and very small. So small that there was a lot of secondary body contact as she moved around the table. The lights appear to be on a dimmer switch but she never turned them down so it was pretty bright in the room throughout the massage. This could have been for her vision, in which case, I wish something would have been said instead of letting the client assume she just forgot. An eye pillow would be a great touch if the lights need to remain up. The massage was just okay. Her pressure was good although at no point did she ask how the pressure was. Once would have been good. If I were to give her feedback on the massage I'd say that she needs to work on connecting her movements and avoid lingering too long in one area. She was working on my feet for a long time but it almost seemed like she was distracted as she was only using one hand with very light pressure and stopped moving a couple of times. The hot towels on the feet were nice. I love scalp massage and I should have told her that because she didn't really touch my head. I wish there would have been neck support while I was face-up, even a rolled hand towel helps a lot. Her leg bolster was so soft it failed to provide much support. The blankets they use are thin and cheap but if they're laundering them for every client, that's fine. If I went back, I'd see a different therapist. Following my massage I had a Hydrafacial with Bree. Literally no notes. This girls belongs in a resort on the strip. Her touch is great, she talks when needed but not too much. She felt confident and proficient with the machines and I was never caught off guard by the sensation that was coming (warm, cool, etc.) Again, the room was small, thin blanket, outdated drapes but I could get past all of that for a facial with Bree. If I go back for a facial, it will definitely be with her. They're really lucky to have her in a local day spa. What an incredibly clean & beautiful salon filled with such beautiful employees & hairstylists! My daughter & I wanted to have a girls day, get our haircut & styled! To say we are SO HAPPY is an understatement! We are absolutely ecstatic! First off - Bella & her other front desk receptionist - AMAZING! Bella & I became friends over the phone she was so nice LOL! I called yesterday & was able to get in same day if I wanted! But we decided to come today & I'm just so happy I did! Being a momma, haven't had a haircut in forever & Ms. Candy transformed me completely! She gave me her honest opinion & gave me her incredible work! Also gave me some tips, thanks again for those! I had a massage a while ago with sparrow, and I hesitated to leave a post because I don't like risking someone's job. But when I saw a similar review on yelp, I felt I had to speak up because this person is clearly a fraud. I went in with a neck issue, she never once worked on my neck. Not only that but when she got to my feet, she must've thought I was asleep and she literally stopped massaging. Just to test out my theory I waited one full song to play in the spa. she did nothing. I literally waved my foot in her face, and then she immediately began massaging. When I became still again for a while, she must've thought I was asleep again, and stopped massaging my other foot until I waved it in her face once more. This was the absolute worst massage I have ever received in my life. I myself A massage therapist, and I know these type of therapists exist. I went to her because she had received a good review, that clearly was not a factual review. Her touch was terrible. Her technique was awful, and the fact that she tried to rip me off by sitting there, and doing nothing is despicable. She needs to find a new job. I am way too nice and like that spa so I didn't complain but I should have and from now on I will. read more

My normal hairstylist was unavailable. I decided to look on Yelp for local Salons in Northwest Las Vegas. Elements Salon and Wellness Spa had popped up on the search list. I gave Elements Salon and Wellness Spa a call and they were able to immediately book me an appointment. Elements Salon and Wellness Spa is located in Centennial, Northwest Las Vegas. It's immediately off of the 215/Durango inside a small shopping plaza. It's next to a few other local businesses such as Dominos. There is spacious amount of parking available too. As soon as I entered, I was immediately greeted by the receptionist. She informed my hair stylist that I was here. I didn't have to wait at all. The seats were pretty empty during my visit. I had requested just a partial highlight, fill in the roots to my hair and a toner. Instead, I was provided a full highlight color and a balayage hairstyle. The appointment took approximately 3 1/2 hours. My hair was teased during the process and it was quite painful. Unfortunately now, my hair feels damaged, drying crunchy, and looks exactly the same as when I had arrived at Elements Salon and Wellness Spa. It was quite expensive, including tip since it was a long appointment process. The team members were nice though! read more

My sister-in-law got married out here this past weekend. I had made an appointment with Zonia for her to get her make up done. I felt that she was hurried up and rushed out the door. Her make up looked horrible. We had to fix it right away, which is not something a bride should have to before their wedding. I was not impressed. I blacked out the eyes in this picture because her face looks horrible and she does not want it up on the website. Through it all the most notable service and person for me has been Deanna. She has been an astonishing angel to my face! I came in with serious scarring, acne issues and low self esteem because of it. When I tell you Deanna has turned that around she truly has, and I don't mean that lightly. I am so mad!!! Overcharged and angry!! I scheduled a pumpkin spice experience that costs 119, decent price. When I left, I was charged 166 and some change. First, I didn't get the full color, just highlights, then the oil treatment was not done, finally they charged a 3% for using the card. Since when?? It used to be a good place. Not anymore. They should tell you how much they will charge before doing anything, even if you change what you want a bit. Adjust, not overcharged!!! read more

If you're getting a pedicure, ask for Treasure! I have never had a more relaxing pedicure experience. Her touch was so gentle and relaxing and considerate. The hot stones were amazing and the scent of their products (which you get to choose the scent of) was so nice! And, of course, my toes look perfect. Treasure really put the time and effort in to make sure they were perfect. I couldn't be happier! The service I received is usually $65, but I got it today for $39 with a groupon. It took about an hour, and they offer water or tea. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

I don't get massages and facials on the regular, but sometimes you just have to treat yourself. Elements was running a special where you could get two different services for 99 dollars. I picked the Swedish deep tissue massage and a facial. I had Sabrina for the massage and Kapi for the facial. The massage was absolutely fantastic. I'm a weight lifter and this was exactly what I needed to loosen up some muscle aches. Sabrina was easy to have a casual conversation with and crushed the massage. I felt fantastic after. Very professional. I'll admit I have never had a facial before and I didn't know what to expect. Kapi did a fantastic job and my face felt great after. She did everything to help me relax and was very friendly. Overall, this was a great experience. I can't wait to go back for another round. read more

I had my hair highlighted las Thursday 8/11/2022 by Candy. Everything seemed to have turned out well. I was happy with my hair. I came home and saw that my left ear was very red. I didn't think much of it and went on with my day. On Saturday I started feeling burning on the top and fold of my ear. I checked it and saw that it was oozing a yellow discharge. My ear had been burned by the chemical from the bleach as I sat under the dryer with a foil wrap intensifying the heat on my ear. I did feel a sting while sitting under the dryer but did not anticipate what was going to happen. I also remember that the hairstylist didn't rinse well around my ears as she washed my hair. I had gone out of town and could not get to the salon to show them what was happening. I called in to report it on Sunday 8/14/2022 and was told that management would be notified however, no one would be available to talk to me until Tuesday 8/16/2022. I called this morning and spoke to a manager by the name of Maria. I explained the situation. She did not demonstrate compassion or sympathy for my bad experience. She asked if I had treated it. I informed her of how I treated my ear and she said that was good. She also stated that this type of thing happens when working with hair bleach. She said that I could come by so she could look at it just to let me know that it was probably okay. I could have my doctor do that!!! She did not demonstrate any effort to come to a resolution that would show me; the client, that her salon was taking accountability for my incident. I expressed to her that I was not looking for a full refund but felt it was only right to be offered a partial credit for my incident and the cost of the Neosporin and Motrin that I had to purchase in order to get relief from the effects of this burn. All I am left with now is a red, dry flaky and stinging ear. I have had my hair colored and highlighted many times before in different salons and this is the first time, I experience a chemical burn like this. My bad review is primarily based on the way, Maria the manager handled my complaint. I will not be returning to this salon and will warn my friends and family, that if one encounters a problem such as I did. You are on your own!!! read more

Wow... i went here for a women's haircut because all my stylists have raised their prices to $80-$100 for just a trim. I found this place and they charge $50.00 flat . I was very nervous because i was putting my very long hair into the hands of a randomly selected stranger but it was the best thing i have ever done. I called and they got me in within the hour! I was given a haircut by Niko, he was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. He even ended up layering my hair and i am so happy with my new hair. I will be a reoccurring customer for Niko specifically. *UPDATE* I am still beyond happy with the services and this business after a couple of months of continually going! I've been to Sabrina twice for a massage and have been beyond impressed each time. She is so strong!! I just got a hydrafacial with Kapi and I am HOOKED! I saw instant results after the facial in my hydration, pore size and even fine lines (not sure if it was supposed to help all of that but it did!) Kapi was so awesome too, I asked her to explain the steps to me as she was doing them and she did. She also gave me an incredible massage while my face mask was on. I highly recommend requesting her. I love that this spa always has promotions and discounts going on. Everyone working here is super nice and the front desk staff is very welcoming. Clean rooms and relaxing ambiance.
