I decided to book a massage as a birthday gift to myself. The massage was horrible and left me confused and annoyed. The pressure was so inconsistent it was bizarre. The therapist was Sparrow. I told her medium pressure. Half the time the pressure was nice and other half it was excruciatingly hard and she used her elbows. Then on my feet, she used feather light touch and at one point stopped the massage for several seconds and I thought maybe she fell asleep. Of all the places on the body, you're going to use that light of touch on the feet? She massaged one thigh, not the other, didnt to the hands at all. It was a bad massage and I'm not going back for any service ever again. Waste of $80 and 2 hours of my day. When I checked out, the girl at the desk asked how it was and I said "umm....ok." and didn't leave a tip. They didnt ask any further questions. Sure i could have communicated about the pressure, but I feel like she is untrained, not really licensed or just doesn't care about doing a good job.

On top of that, Sarah was pleasant and friendly and put me at ease right away. We chatted for a few minutes as I filled out my paperwork, and not only did it become evident that Sarah took the time to get to know me and understand my skin needs, but I could also tell that she was incredibly knowledgeable. The express facial with dermaplane that I booked via Classpass was about 30 minutes - quick, efficient, and perfect if you're short on time. I walked out with such a fresh, glowing face! Perla even gave me a sample of one of the products she used since my skin responded really well to it, which I appreciated. They carry full-size versions of their skincare products, so it's easy to pick something up at the front desk if you like what was used during your treatment.
