Used to love this place, but the new folks they brought in aren't the best. I picked a color and asked if it was gel, it wasn't until I was through the pedicure that they tell me the color I choose was a chrome color and I'd have to choose another. I typically get French as well and they were significantly different shapes and thicknesses across each foot. They also cut off all of my corners so my toe nails themselves are extremely round which I didn't know was possible. I saw the girl who did them looking at them and it seemed like she noticed as well, but ignored it to be finished with the service. Last time I will be going here unfortunately, regret not going to my typical spot that always goes above and beyond and doesn't rush. Didn't give 1 star because it's still not the absolute worst I've ever had but it's close. read more

I have been going to their place for 18 months for no chip mani and pedis. The last few months the service has gotten very bad. I made an appointment today and when I arrived at 10:34 for a 10:30 she had already given my appointment away to a walk in and said she couldn't fit me in. Called a few places and wasn't able to get in anywhere before giving this place a ring. I was able to get in same day at the time I asked for, which was great and they were so accommodating. I scheduled 2 pedicures, and one gel manicure, and I thought the service on both was excellent. My nails are 1 week out and haven't chipped or peeled on the edges. They also did an extra coat without being asked since it was somewhat of a clear color. I also noticed another girl at the salon had air bubbles and asked for them to be fixed and they did it right away, and instead of just a new top coat, they re-did the entire nail. It was pretty busy inside, they had 4 or 5 people working, and would sometimes switch stations. I did notice some people that came in together wouldn't get started or finish at the same time, so that isn't always ideal, but the service was still excellent. The one thing I did find a little confusing was they didn't seem to know the service of the client - the guy doing my pedicure didn't know I was getting a regular pedicure instead of gel, and didn't know I had a manicure next. My boyfriend also got a pedicure, and they asked if he wanted his hands done, which they also asked me, and I found it slightly confusing because it seemed like it was a complimentary hand massage at first, but it was actually a regular manicure that they do while you sit in the chair that costs extra, which wasn't clear when it was asked. Other than that, I liked the place a lot, would go back, but also might try out some other places in the area. read more

I'll never come back to this place. After my last nail removal, I was pissed. My real nails were already traumatized and sensitive enough. When she was soaking my nails in acetone, she didn't even give it 10 mins. When I use to go to them, they use to soak for at least like 20-30 min and slowly remove it with buffer. She main lady who works there literally was ripping my nails off with another fake acrylic nail. Just shoving it under neath. I was in so much pain. When I said I was in pain, she would just laugh, say sorry, and continue on. Recommendation, don't ever do this to another customer. Unfortunately the last time I got a pedicure, the person that did it went a little too hard on my big toe. The skin was either really raw at the top between the skin and nail or cut. It definitely stung a bit when alcohol or whatever was used. It was hard to see where the area was initially, & I wasn't sure. When I put a sock and shoe on, it definitely hurt to walk. My boyfriend and I were very excited to see a new nail salon so close to our apartment! We decided to try out the place since they had a grand opening special. Unsanitary. I needed one acrylic nail to match the others. This nail got nicked during the cuticle cut and was slightly bleeding (no biggie it happens). Without telling me she was going to do dip acrylic powder instead of the acrylic gel she put my finger with the open wound into the powder. I asked if they separate the powder out for each client and was told no. They also do not ask you to wash your hands with soap and water upon arrival. I told them this was unsanitary and inappropriate to expose me to other people's dirty hands as there is a risk of infection. I also told them they needed to throw that powder away since my blood is in that powder and it is inappropriate to expose others to blood which is a biohazard. They simply did not care and did nothing to remedy the situation. read more

I'm confused by the negative reviews. My friend and I went here and had an amazing pedicures, and I also had a dip manicure. Normally, dip manicures can be put on too thick and also take forever - not here. It was done in a reasonable amount of time and my nails look beautiful. Also, the fact that they are BYOB is amazing and makes for a fun time with friends! Also, as Yelp always does, they hide a LOT of the reviews and I noticed a lot of the positive reviews are "hidden" via Yelp's algorithm on here.
