Sarah K was my stylist. She was easy going, listened to my needs and gave me some honest feedback about my hair. I appreciated she only did what I asked and I was super happy with the outcome. After the wash and blow dry she added some beach waves to my hair as a finishing touch. My second visit was a few days ago (mid August) and Sarah K was consistent! I was in and out within about an hour and a half ish, but I didn't feel rushed. Heck yes! Salon O is great if you want Kamryn Bisconti to fry your hair and make it fall out. I was growing out my hair, while having Kamryn bleach it, and every single 6-7 weeks she would compliment the health of my hair. She'd always forget what products I used and would ask, but she never failed to tell me to keep doing what I'm doing. My hair was white blonde and gorgeous. It's now only a few inches long all over my head because it broke off after a scary bleaching session. My scalp burned like it never had before. I have no idea what happened. All I know is I was about to get up to find her to take it off when she came over to get me. My eyes were watering from the pain. My hair was as white as it's ever been and honestly it was gorgeous, until it started breaking. Now it's literally 3-4 inches all over my head, having grown out for a few months. I was forced to dye it brown, which of course she charged me full price to do. I texted her and told her it was still breaking and I was so unhappy. I never received an apology. She said after months and months of bleaching of course I was going to have breakage. Um, what happened to the excellent condition I kept my hair in and how I didn't have ANY prior breakage?? She offered to do a complimentary deep conditioning. It took me several times of following up for her to finally book it. I basically had PTSD walking in there for my conditioning appt but I showed up!!!! Guess who did not. Reception tried texting and calling Kamryn, texting and calling to no avail. She wasn't scheduled until later in the afternoon. After waiting about 15 min, I left, with an even bigger slap in my face than simply frying my hair off. Later, Kamryn texted me saying she had an emergency and had her appts canceled for the morning. Weird, because her work had ZERO idea about that. She offered to leave a deep conditioning product at the counter. When I went back to pick it up, of course there was no product waiting for me. This has destroyed what little confidence I had in stylists and myself, having already gone through something similar with another stylist. At least that one admitted her negligence though. She was excited to do my cut which always is a good feeling going into it. Kayln is the bomb!!! She fixed my crappy dead bad ombre job into an awesome balayage ombre ash blonde/grey. It came out even better than I could have hoped for. My hair is still healthy after the bleach and toner and it looks so good! Salon o is decorated really chic and cute and modern with high ceilings and ceiling fans running which is important to me in a salon with all the chemicals and smells. And Brittany Aston is my best new stylist/contact in my phone!! I can't get enough selfies and look-seeies in the mirror at my new hair color and cut. And to think I was a last minute Yelper, yelping away, looking for a hair solan with a stylist that was good with color correction and working on an array colors. I was on the hunt and had a great intuition that I would confidently find someone, but not at all did, I think I would get it last minute. I was desperately Yelping away to find a place that would, for one take me on a Saturday and for two, much less be not be as good in a short notice, but as great as Brittany!! I lucked out when I called Salon O and the receptionist asked, "if I could come right now?" I replied, with a smiling, "YES!!!"... and I nearly jumped out of my PJ's where I stood, not thinking I would get to go as soon as I hoped for, it was unreal, (but for my luck she had two cancellations), the next thing I heard was when she said, "You'll would be with Brittany Aston, who is great with Blondes." I walked in washed out in every aspect of my color. I was a gray rooted, grown out color touch after the gray, with a way grown out balayage from that color down. I, on the color wheel, was a washed out violet-red, with coppers and golden blonde tones. She had her work cut out for her with me and the transformation I wanted to say the least. Five hours later, because understand you can't get red out in one process ladies and gents, unless your stylist knows, like Brittany what she is doing!! We spoke of how, it takes time to process, which means patience is a virtue with going from one complete opposite of color to another, and when trying to get to the desired leveled you want to be. It will and should never happen in one sitting. That is unless of course you want to leave fried out, dried out and damaged hair that can't be repaired. It is having a stylist, that is a chemist colorist who knows how to get you -in time- to a super unhealthy color... And that someone, being not just like, but actually being Brittany!! She takes time to listen to every word I, you say and delivers on that agreement of what you desire in the end! She heard what I wanted and didn't want, not only for my over all color but to my cut as well!! We talked about it all before she proceeded to do as I hoped for in achieving again, a healthy, lovely and complete opposite of what I came in with!! I was excited to be w/ a bomb new colorist and in the end leave, with one I can count on, with a first time get it right experience. Let me simply say, you truly get what you want with Brittany. I am in love. Even my fiancé said, "your whole complexion has changed." My new color complements my skin tone. I have more way more cool, ashy and beautiful blondes in my hair now and No more reds, warm coppery tones. Not that those colors are horrible, but I wanted a change from the opposite side of the color wheel and I got success!! the salon is clean and beautiful and the staff is extremely nice, however i literally got the worst haircut of my life and then had to pay my stylist 90$ through tears. i've been non stop crying since i got it yesterday it's so ugly. i asked for v cut hair with lots of layers and dimension, showed my stylist TONS of pictures, when she agreed to do the cut i was genuinely so excited but it looks nothing like what i asked for. all she did was chop inches off of my hair and it's literally uneven. worst money i ever spent and unfortunately will not be going back there ever again, and will make sure none of the friends i like do. I had an appointment at 12 in the afternoon, the receptionist, can't recall her name, said "stylist will be right with you" waited for 30 minutes and she never showed. Beware which stylist you get. I asked for a very simple medium length haircut with layers and walked out with a mullet. No joke, the top layer is 4 inches long!! Overall length barely brushes my shoulders. My hair is completely ruined and it's so short that I can't even put it up without half of it falling down. Now I have to take all my holiday pictures with horrific hair! I should have walked out when my "stylist" didn't know where the shampoo was and didn't know that rinse is conditioner. Such a horrible experience and now I have to deal with mullet for the next few months.
