I found Lauren last year when my hair stylist went back to school. It can be hard to trust someone new with your hair, but she did a great job at listening to what I wanted, chiming in with her own expertise, and the results were amazing, both cut and color. I felt awesome :) Lauren easily draws people in and genuinely cares about them. She's flexible to work with and very professional and efficient. She asks good questions and it feels like the appointment goes by quickly. I got good advice on products and styling. I also enjoy connecting with other stylists in the salon, like Jocelyn, she is so friendly and great! Even though I moved out state after finding Lauren, I get my hair cut by her whenever I'm in town and have recommended her to several people. 10/10! read more

Lauren is an absolute TREASURE. I've been going to her for at least seven years, and she keeps me looking good year-round. I usually need help deciding what cuts or colors would look good on my face shape or skin tone, and I constantly relied on Lauren's expertise. I was looking for a salon in the Sodel area because I'n fed up with traveling back to Maryland to get my hair done! I looked around and found Salon in Savannah, and got an appointment with Lauren after having a great convo over the phone. I have long length, blonde hair that i've been getting colored for ~6 years. I came in with an inspo picture, and told her I wanted a much brighter California blonde (My current hair felt dull). Lauren KILLEDDD ITTT! She was so confident it made me confident in how it was going to go. I texted my husband in the first 15 minutes "this is going to be awesome! so excited!" because I just knew (plus, Lauren was saying so!) I was there for ~3 hours which is honestly so reasonable! We talked the whole time - which was amazing because I love her - and my hair looks exactly like what I've been aiming for, for years. Perfectly yellow blonde, while still allowing my roots to grow out naturally. She's exactly what I was looking for and I love that she's someone I can go to close to home. Couldn't recommend her more! Will be going back to her next time. read more

CAUTION! Lauren is overpriced, overbooked, discourteous and distracted! I was charged $235 for a partial foil and haircut. After a very brief dry cut (snip here and there; explaining she will do the real haircut later) and after all foils were in, she then tells me that she probably will not have time to blow dry my hair today. She left to take her dog out. I thought I should say something because I was really looking forward to leaving styled and all "done-up"! When she returns, I asked if she could just skip the haircut so I can be styled. She became annoyed with my request and said that "this will be my last appointment with her because it causes her too much stress." This was said in front of everyone in the salon. I wanted to shrink into the chair! After my shampoo, Lauren says she has time to blow dry me after all! However, she had to ask a coworker to help her to blow dry my hair. I did not feel Lauren's price matched the treatment that I received. Extremely poor customer service and common courteous in general. Do not expect a relaxing afternoon at the salon with Lauren. It was a horrible experience. I feel sorry for her assistant. While I was there, Lauren gave orders to her assistant almost continuously leaving me to feel like "her head wasn't in the game" so to speak. She gave most of her attention to delegating duties to her assistant than she did to her task at hand; which was my $235 salon experience!! PROCEED WITH CAUTION! read more

She has done foiliage, root touchup and also done keratin and Brazilian blowout on me and it's turned out great every time. She is honest and tells you what is realistic for your hair type and color. I'd like to start off by saying that hands down the best cut and color I've ever received. That being said, my stylist needs an attitude check. You are not doing the customer a favor by styling their hair, rather they(customer) are supporting your business. I started at this salon in January and leave w beautiful hair, but always a bit disheartened. Very little communication w me, rather customers in other chairs, staff etc. That's fine, we don't have to be besties but being courteous and personable should be a given. My appointments were either cancelled a couple of days before, asked to come at different time, or another day. The rudeness set me over edge today as I decided to walk out and never return. When your client arrives and you can't be bothered to greet or at least ACKNOWLEDGE their existence, play on your phone as they wait, and take another client at your appointment time, still not acknowledging my existence, or even saying hey I'm running late, be with shortly... you made me feel like a worthless nothing today and some advice: quit using a last minute wedding( Memorial Day) or a forgotten drs appt days before appointment to cancel on your clients. This was my first time in the salon and upon arriving on time for my appt. I was never greeted. I took a seat and sat there waiting for 15 minutes still without any acknowledgment. It also looked the stylist I was waiting on was far from being completed with the previous appt. Don't jam pack your schedule to help your own purse strings without being able to actually manage a schedule. There are lots of other places to go and now I'm left to go find one of them. read more
