I came in with ZERO layers with the shortest angles below my chin and left with uneven, haphazard, choppy layers throughout my hair and the shortest hair now falling to my lip even though I stated numerous times I did NOT want layers at all and don't want to go shorter. After she continued to cut, Sarah laughed at me and said "idk girl" and said she wouldn't charge me. Also, awful experience with the manager who reached out to me as well - wouldn't be surprised if she bullied me to take the review down after the unprofessional, mental gymnastics performance she displayed with me over the phone.

I had a consultation about a cut and a Keratin treatment and boy am I glad I did. First of all, I love the salon, clean and classy! One time, Merrick cut my hair in exactly the way it should be cut, and then last week I got the Keratin treatment. I am amazed. My hair has not looked this good in my whole life. If you have frizzy unruly hair, go get a Keratin treatment (it is non-formaldehyde). Oh - and easy parking :)

She was great- easy to talk to, able to make suggestions of what would look good on me, and took time to really hear me out. She was fun to engage with through the entirety of my appointment. The way she interacted with her peers also made the environment fun and welcoming and not catty salon vibes. I plan to return in the Fall to see her again because I enjoyed my experience and the result of my partial highlights and cut. The salon itself is also beautiful and inviting. One star down from a five star experience given how pricey it is and the new 3% fee. I forgot my debit card at the time and ended up paying $9 on the fee.

Be forewarned: Karma has responded to my demand for a $165 refund by ignoring my letter, and then when I finally got to speak with the owner today, she shouted over me trying to get a word in and then just hung up on me! Thanks for ruining my hair and treating me like crap, you unprofessional hairdressers. At least I have it on record now that you are not like other salons I researched on the web, where a complaint like mine is taken seriously, and to quote a line from Salon's better business practices, one should always attempt to refund an angry customer.
