For this particular salon, the owner did not tell me she had an issue with performing the facial until I arrived! And as I'm about to walk into the room, she says "I will do another facial on you but not the hydra facial because you are pregnant." Listen, if you don't want to perform the facial because of liability or whatever your reasons are that makes sense, but please be professional and call me ahead of time. Don't try to give me a different facial I don't want and make me drive 20 minutes in the middle of a week day to then deliver the news so you can at least get some money out of me. I thought that was unprofessional. Especially since I had filled out an electronic form stating I was pregnant the day before coming in. I recently came in to get my arms, legs, and a Brazilian wax done and time flew by so fast because of our conversation. I didn't feel uncomfortable at any point during the waxing session (all of this came out to $170). Prices are extremely reasonable in my opinion. I used to go to one of the waxing chains in Ashburn, and I can definitely tell you that service + price at Voda Spa is way more deserving of my business. Heather also does facials :) I really hope to get a facial done by her sometime soon too. They sounded awesome when I asked her about them, and the fact they all include extractions to get all that gunky stuff out of your skin sounds appealing. I cannot recommend her or this salon enough. They are sweet and actually very fast too. It's nice that I don't have to spend hours at the salon.
