Revising my review due to the departure of my longtime stylist. Not a fan of the proprietress's attitudes or behavior.

Love this place! I got a hair cut and style from the owner and she did a fantastic job! When I tried to make my appointment with my usual stylist (at a different salon) she was no longer there, and they were booked for the week, so I decided to try Salon Suzette. I am so glad that I did. This will be my new hair salon from here on out. The cut I asked for was not exactly simple, and I was concerned my vision would not show through, but I couldn't be happier with the results. I loved the atmosphere as well. I ruined my aunts birthday by taking her here for her very first hair salon appointment. I think the old hag that did my aunts hair is named suzette and she burned the fuck out my aunts hair. It doesn't even look/feel like hair anymore but more like an silly string. She can't even comb through it cause there's still bleach soaking in her hair and breaking off in clumps the second you touch it. I wish I could leave a review lower than 1 Star. She had the Caucasity to ask my sister, aunt, and I if we were all born here. Then when we answered yes she looked shocked as hell saying "wow so you've spent your whole life here? ALL of you guys were born here?" Wtf? What does that matter to you and this appointment? When is it ever okay to wonder if the person who paid you money to cut their hair is a US citizen? No need to wonder what nationality we are and continuously comment on our accents. If you don't ask white people w ridiculous Canadian accents that, you don't need to ask us. Not to mention how fucking RUDE she was to my aunt the entire time. "This appointment is taking forever, this is a complete nightmare" "God who booked this?" "I broke some of your hair with the dye so I'm cutting it" "I screwed up, sorry. What else do you want me to say? There's no I can do, I already said sorry" I wish I didn't prepay and leave a tip. She did give me my money back but an apology ain't gonna fix shit. Women's hair is their crowning glory and there's no going back from the experience or damage. Do yourself a favor and spend more money by going to Randolphs instead (what a profession hair salon is). Unfortunately my aunts hair is falling out like she's getting 47 rounds of chemo a day so we're just gonna have to get her a pixie cut to minimize the trauma of hair loss. 18 inches gone. Loved the Salon. Very nice people and very clean salon. Ashley was wonderful doing my granddaughters hair.

I've been struggling to find somewhere to get my hair done that I like. I've been to countless places and have always left a little disappointed. I was recommended to go here by a friend and had a great experience! Ashley was amazing! She even took extra time to brighten up some of the highlights so I would love my hair when I left. Salon was also super clean, and everyone working was very friendly. Finally I found a salon I will come back to! Also I can't forget to mention, there was the cutest dog in a sweater snoozing in the salon! read more

It was very disappointing to see that most people (staff and clients) were not masked up. I can't understand why the salon would have signage posted on the window saying that they are that safety precautions are a priority. I had been looking for a new hair salon and stopped in for information on pricing. There was nobody to greet clients at the door (other than the stylists themselves) working. A stylist asked me what I wanted and just looked really irritated when I told her I was looking for pricing information. The lack of safety and unfriendly attitude gave me all the information I needed. read more

I called last week to ask if they can do spiral perms with long hair. I was told by the owner Suzette yes we can do I decided to take my mother along for a cut and color. I get there and as the girl Claudia was rolling my hair I realized that she was using white regular perm rods and I said I want a SPIRAL perm and she said I have been doing hair for 30 years and these are the right rods. Long story short. I got a regular perm that I DID NOT want and to make it worse, the girl didn't have any thing to put in my hair and asked Suzette to borrow something and she said, use the other one, that's expensive!! My hair was not styled or anything, I left with a wet head looking like a poodle and was charged $250.00, this did include the cut and color for my mother but I will NEVER go there again or refer anyone there. I went in as a new client to get my hair colored and cut. I also needed my eyebrows waxed. I told the stylist what I wanted and she went and mixed the colors. After my hair was done I paid and left. I got home and went to put my hair up in a ponytail and noticed a big line where she had put the color also that my eyebrows were waxed very thin. I called the owner and she asked if I would allow her the chance to try and fix my hair. I went 2 days later and the owner put several highlights in and cut my length shorter like I had wanted. I went to get ready for work the following day and noticed a spot where she missed cutting , and also when I put my hair up the highlights weren't up to my root and you could still see a line between the colors. I texted and called the owner and she's say " quote you said you were happy and you need to find a new salon to help you with your hair needs and I won't be giving a refund. I do not recommend this salon at all. If you dare go you best make sure everything is how or want it or you will be screwed just like I am. I spent over $200 and I have to go and pay another place to fix the mess they made. read more

Salon Suzette is simply the BEST! I see Sarah and have nothing but great things to say about the quality of her work and the customer service I receive. The staff at Salon Suzette are all extremely talented hair professionals. I never have to worry about getting an appointment, I can buy all my hair products right there too!!
