This hear salon is awesome! It was recommended to me by a friend. Being more than ones I can tell that the level of services is unbeatable.As soon as you come in you feel a friendly atmosphere. Clean environment, nice and relaxing music and friendly stuff. There is a complimentary coffee and tea in the waiting area and chocolate bars for the chocolate lovers. Quality work every time and very reasonable priced. Parking on the back is very easy. Ask for Admir and make sure to make an appointment first as he is always booked in advance. If you need a great cut and color, see Claire! I had a very bad experience elsewhere with some horrid color. Claire fixed me right up and got my hair back to blonde! She also gave me a great cut (once I was ready!) and got rid of the straw that a stylist in the Bay Area left me with after a bad bleach job. Yikes! The salon is adorable with a great location (parking behind Pier 1!), and they'll give you all the cookies, chocolate, tea, and espresso you can handle! I have gone to Elisa for over ten years for cut, color, highlights almost every month. Consistently I get a great product. Her service to me is one i value very much. I also really appreciate that she runs on time for appointments and works quickly. My review would not be complete if I did not mention that the owner Amir takes impeccable care to welcome clients, the salon is ver clean, and there is a great snack bar. Kudos for a great set up. Go get your hair cut from Admir. He's amazing. My hair looks better than it ever has. He takes alot of care and precision, and his experience shows in the quality of his work. He was friendly and personable during the wash and in the initial stages of the cut, and when it got down to the end for the finishing, he totally went into the zone and focused on giving me a perfect cut. Salon Tosca was clean, bright, and played great music. Oh- and actually, I was sold after the head massage during the wash. Added bonus. I recently decided to look into hair extensions but I wanted to be sure I didn't damage my existing hair. After doing a lot of web research, i decided to go see Claire @ Salon Tosca based on all her good reviews online. Upon meeting her, she was very good at listening to my concerns and spent the time to investigate what would work best with my thin hair. A few weeks later I had them put in and am so thrilled! It's only been a week but everyone has complemented them and i love having the longer hair. My co-workers can't tell what's different which makes me happy. :) Only that my hair looks great! Claire's been fantastic with following up and making sure i'm 100% happy with them. The salon itself is very cute and perfectly located in Santa Monica. Love the free parking in the back! I have not had my hair cut at a salon for about 5 years but after my 50th birthday I decided it was time for a new style. I work next door to Salon Tosca and often say hello to Philippe as he's going into work in the morning. So out of pure convenience I decided to go see him for my haircut. Best decision I could have made! The salon has a great feel to it as soon as you walk in. Philippe made me an excellent cup of tea, there are so many to choose from too! He's very professional, with just the right amount of conversation vs. concentration, He is very interesting to talk to, my haircut took about two hours but the time flew by!
