She had changed my appointment to a different appointment type because she said it wasn't as intensive as a true balayage, which I thought was nice because it was less expensive but I didn't ask and it wasn't a balayage or the colors I showed. I asked to come back in after trying head and shoulders, which they recommended to use to speed up the lightening, and Meredith was awesome to fit me in to see if it would lighten. It did a bit but is still darker. She also seemed surprised of the colors based on the pic I showed her too. Very nice and professional but not worth it when you'll need to redo it somewhere else.

She's great at translating my vague, fuzzy descriptions of what's in my head into exactly what I had in mind. She's also great at listening carefully to when I know exactly what I want done ("Cut the bangs at THIS angle") and doing it. When I bring in a picture, she can tell me how close I can get to it given my specific hair. She's very particular about the products she uses, and my dyed hair is soft and shiny.
