They were friendly, but looked either (a) just old and tired or (b) like meth heads... but against my better judgment, the amount of work they claimed they would do for a pretty good price was hard to say "no" to. Well, to summarize - they actually did a pretty decent job... on the things they finished. But the problems were a long, long list: - incredibly slow to essentially do a "one time job" on tree, shrub, and lawn cleanup. Took close to two weeks for something that should have been 1-2 days at most for professionals (as I've since learned). - They would frequently show up late, work for a few hours, and leave. In-between, they would often sit in their truck for a long, long time, I can only imagine it involved using... things... they shoulldn't. - I would find weird things in my trash can, like tubs of ice cream in the middle of the day, probably because they were missing so many teeth from (well, just guess). - They left their tools scattered about each day. - They asked for an advance because (insert ridiculous story here) was happening. - One of the larger, key things we agreed (for $500) was to prune back my apple tree, which they never did. They ended up saying we shouldn't do it in the summer and should wait a month or so for fall when they'd come back (of course, never heard from them again).

Their bid was about half of what we'd been offered by the other companies who came out and they actually recommended doing something different with the lawn than we'd been planning on which came out to be a lot cheaper and will make the yard look better longer. I was also impressed that they tried to be considerate of our neighbors who we share a driveway with. In order to access our yard they had to park right in front of our neighbors garage, blocking them in, so they pulled out all of their equipment and then moved their truck down the hill and out of the way. They got the job done quick, were happy to answer some questions I had over the phone the next day and were just generally very easy to work with.

Once the fence was done, they came quickly, on time, and the men working were extremely friendly. They gave us a paper with proper care instructions, and said if I had any questions, to let them know. The whole process, set up to clean up, took about an hour. They parked on the side of our driveway, not to block the garage. We are renovating, so our driveway gets blocked A LOT because other companies are not paying that close of attention. When they were done, they came to the door again and gave us extra seeds in case there were any weak spots, asked if I had any questions, then they were on their way.
