I came here since I'd heard this place was a good fast food Mexican restaurant. The service is similar to Qdoba/Chipotle, where there's a counter where you order your food and then pay at the end. The style is similar to Moe's, in that there is a salsa bar after you pay for your food with unlimited salsas, for which (I'm assuming) you can ask for unlimited chips (or as many as you want before the workers start to give you the side-eye for asking every 30 minutes for six hours). I enjoyed the food enough, but I would say the quality/taste is better at a Qdoba or Chipotle. Because my work puts me out of the way from both of those options, though, this is a good substitue whenever I'm feeling like eating Mexican food during the work day. read more

A better take on fast food Mexican than Chipotle. Fresh ingredients, enough choices you can mix it up but not too many to be overwhelming, and good prices. The salsa bar with all the choices takes the cake. The salsas are fresh and diverse - try the avocado salsa! The meats are lean and they give you good sized portions. Service was fast and friendly. The one negative would be the mildness of everything. I've eaten at the George's Market version and things had more spice. I'm guessing they toned everything down for the location. Northeastern Indiana is not synonymous with spice. Overall a great place! read more

Best salsa in town. I haven't been to the Coldwater Road location, but this one is awesome. This place is similar to a Qdoba or Chipotle, as far as the concept. However, it is much better. The portions are big and everything is very fresh. The service is also great. After you pay for your food, there's a big self-serve salsa bar with a variety of different salsas that you can enjoy with the chips they give you with your meal. This review pertains to the Salsa Grill location on 5735 Falls Dr, Fort Wayne IN, 46804. I used to be a big fan of this establishment until as of recent. The quality of food and service has gone down drastically in the recent months. My first complaint is the salsa situation. As a company who advertises themselves as SALSA Grill, one of their main points is their salsa. Due to the pandemic this was dialed back and made to where you must ask for additional cups. But now you are limited to 2 small condiment cups of salsa and you can get a total of 1-2 more cups of this salsa if you are lucky. They say this is due to shortages during the pandemic but for a company with three locations along with a food truck and a society on the decline during this pandemic I feel you should be able to offer customers what they are paying for. Salsa. If this is such an issue, then it should be made a policy and state it to the public in a more efficient way. And if we are limited to 2-3 salsas, the quality should be much greater. I do not want to dump tomato water on my burrito or chips. The past 3-4 times I have went to this Salsa Grill, only this location may I add, their salsa has been more liquid than salsa. I know some salsa can be runny, but this salsa is literally dripping half its contents out when I slightly tip it by accident. Yet at the other Salsa Grill location, I am always treated very nice, I can get as many salsas as I require to make my meal enjoyable; and I get hot, fresh, good portions of all the contents in my meal. It is weird because their other locations are ran so much better and more efficient, they seem like a whole other business entity even though they are the same company. As well, the barbacoa meat I got in my burrito was cold and I was not given enough to even taste the meat. I know restaurants have portions, but I mean this when I say my burrito was 1/2 the size compared to what I have gotten at other locations and previous trips to this specific Salsa Grill. I really do hope that this establishment improves in the future. I am very disappointed with how they have handled themselves compared to other Salsa Grills in the area. read more

My dad and I have eaten here many times and always had a great experience. It is simmilar to Subway in that they custom make your food in front of you as you order. They have a lot of options including burritos, tacos, bowls, and many others. Everything always tastes great! Their servings can be quite large, so people with small appetites may want to order the child-sized portions. read more

Food is pretty good. They have their version of the Soup Nazi working there now who won't put Pico on your burrito if you call it Salsa. He corrects you. Then if he thinks you mispronounce anything he corrects you. In fact you can't order a "small queso". You must specify 4 ounce or you get the whole rundown on we have 4, 6, or 8 ounce. If you order small you aren't getting it until you say 4 ounce. It was funny at first but it's getting old. read more

Good place to eat for a lunch date or a client meeting. Quick service and nice staff. The selection of salsa at the bar is a nice compliment to the unlimited chips. There are many choice around teh Village of Coventry area and this is one you should try. read more

I don't understand why so many people are raving about this place. I found it supremely underwhelming. Everything was very bland and had very little spice to it. As a frequent eater of restaurants like Chipotle, Hot Head, Qdoba, and Moe's I expected a lot from this place. The queso was bland, the chips were flavorless. Out of the whole salsa bar, about 2 were decent (the chipotle and the Georg'e Hot Salsa). The one thing that is going for them is that their food does seem very fresh, it just offers very little flavor. Overall I was very unimpressed. read more

Place is going downhill, the assembly line workers skimp on toppings, the manager wants to up charge for every addition to a burrito!
