The Brown Butter Protein Latte - Iced Only Homemade Banana Bread
    Sarah G.

Such a cute little hidden coffee spot tucked away on a church property. They're only open on weekends, so it's definitely worth following them on Instagram to catch their pop-up hours. The owner is so sweet, and you can tell she really cares about using quality ingredients. She serves Klatch Coffee beans, has great matcha options, locally sourced baked goods, and even offers Ballerina Farm protein if you want to add a little extra boost to your drink. I ordered the brown butter latte, and it was so good--easily one of my favorite lattes I've had in a while. If you're looking to support a small local business with great coffee and a welcoming vibe, this place is definitely worth checking out.

I had a lovely experience at Salt Light Coffee (San Dimas). I ordered the Butter Brown Sugar Latte ($6.50 - Iced). I felt awake after sipping. I l smiled as the aftertaste of clean, honeyed brown sugar fluttered across the palate. TASTY! (Important: This business is available to all guests; however, it's hidden within the Foothill Vineyard Church's Courtyard.) I arrived at Salt Light Coffee (San Dimas) on Sunday (around 9:05AM). Parking is competitive, but the lot is wide. Luckily, I quickly found a spot. Staff is professional and welcoming. Staff politely answered all my questions, and Staff worked hard. My drink was ready within one minute. Very fast! As mentioned, I ordered the Butter Brown Sugar Latte ($6.50 - Iced). The ingredients are good quality, and it all tastes very fresh. There's integrity at this location. When thoroughly stirred, the butter brown sugar becomes prominent and happily embraced. If you've ever bitten into a gently sweetened boba pearl, that's the flavor that arises. This coffee tasted very clean and crisp. DELICIOUS! On ambiance, Salt Light Coffee (San Dimas) is gorgeous. The ceiling lights provide a cheerful twinkle, and the location is very clean. This spot almost feels like an extension of the church as the soft, calming Christian music played. Salt Light Coffee (San Dimas) also has utility. There's customer internet with password; customers must ask Staff for details. There's also two electrical outlets near tables. The location also has a nearby restroom. The location felt well-ventilated, and I counted nine shiny tables. Overall, I had a lovely experience at Salt Light Coffee (San Dimas). It's hidden at a church, but there's sincere potential in its fresh, clean coffee. If nearby, I happily recommend. 4.8 out of 5

Just found the cutest hidden gem in San Dimas Salt + Light Coffee & Provisions is a faith-based coffee shop tucked inside Vineyard Church and it's only open on weekends Everything here is made with real, organic ingredients and you can truly taste the quality in every sip. They offer fresh baked goods from a local vendor , organic sourdough bread made with their own flour , and the yummiest-looking jams I tried their iced coffee (butter brown sugar flavor) and it was SO good perfectly sweet, but you can still taste the coffee They also have cute merch and host events, and the owner is seriously the sweetest If you're in SoCal, this spot is a must-visit

From early beginnings with coffee cart to a full set up coffee shop in a church setting, Emma has been making great lattes! Now she is fully set up, after all the background work needed to lead to a cute coffee shop operation. If you're like me and looking for organic, grass fed dairy, you need to come check it out. It's located in the vineyard church community space. Full service coffee shop with pastries Emma the owner is friendly and inviting. Go say hello ! Let me know if you tried it ! SYOY FYI To clarify, this coffee shop is in a church community space. It's not a stand alone coffee shop. It's not part of the church, but it operates in a church space. It's at Foothill Vineyard Church. Of course, you can park in their parking lot. :) It's open on Saturdays too. With that said, It will be busy on Sundays during service. From 9-10 there will be a few people but most will be at 9am service which ends about 10:30 Then, it stays busy as more people arrive for the 11am service, which lets out about 12:30. At that time it will be super busy with church community hanging out. If you're going just for coffee, Saturdays will be a better option or early Sunday between opening til about 9:30. Of course you're welcome to stay for services. It looks like it's not open on weekdays Nonetheless, everything is organic, non GMO, house made syrups, and grass fed dairy. I hope this helps. :)

Salt Light star bright, I wish you were in my cup tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might have you in my mug early and bright. One sip of your coffee and I knew it was outta sight. My one wish would be if you had a coffee flight. As for now I'll be alright since you send me flying like a kite. I started off with the Organic Maple Cinnamon that came with housemade syrup sprinkled with the spice that made it ohhh so nice. Next up was The Resurrection and this was a cold brew with espresso and yeah it resurrected me like Frankenstein! By now I was feeling oh so fine! The service was great and divine and this experience had me feeling good like sunshine. And that's my take on this adventure of mine. Peace out peeps...

Went to Salt + Light Coffee and tried the Salted Maple Latte--it was good! I got it with almond milk, which gave it a slightly grainy texture, but it was still delicious. Emma was so sweet and went over the menu with us. Overall, definitely worth trying!

Hidden inside the campus of Foothill Vineyard Church you will find a must visit coffee shop! To say I am a fan of Salt + Light coffee is to put it lightly. My regular combo (of a latte and a treat) is a Saturday morning ritual that I look forward to with great anticipation. Salt + Light is a breath of fresh air! We take our coffee drinking very seriously in our home. When we go out to buy it, we have criteria: -Are the syrups made in house? -Are there quality milks offered? -Are the ingredients clean and/or organic? -Are they using quality beans? -Is the menu classic, yet innovative? -Is the service hospitable? Salt + Light checks off all those boxes. I appreciate that the very kind owner has a passion for quality ingredients, and has a desire to help share that passion with others. She makes flavorful syrups, including unexpected seasonal flavors- looking at you delicious Carrot Cake! This shop knows quality coffee, they use Klatch beans! On top of that, you can bring your laptop and enjoy your drink in a peaceful environment- that immediately makes me more productive! I've come some weekends where Salt + Light has even allowed other small businesses and creators to pop up or they have hosted great wellness events. Come check it out for yourself and try my favorite, the incredible Salted Maple Latte!

I absolutely LOVE Salt and Light!! The owner Emma is the absolute sweetest. I am here at least everyday she is open and it is the best environment! The drinks are absolutely amazing, there's an ample amount of seating, and it's the perfect place to sit and work/do homework especially because she has free WiFi! It's also commendable that she does special events just about every weekend! Today she had a mommy and me Pilates event that was the cutest! The best part: she MAKES her own almond milk!! You won't be able to find a place that sells all organic coffees and pastries AND makes their own almond milk!! This coffee shop has the best environment and all of her customers are sweet and beyond welcoming!! On top of the coffee she sells, there is also all organic pastries, jams, sourdough, and honey!! Salt and Light feels like the best one stop shop! My favorite drink to get here is the Resurrection! It is quite literally straight caffeine. Cold brew, and a double shot of espresso that will resurrect you! All in all Salt and Light is the best place to get you coffee!!

    Bouquet-making station for Motherʻs Day

LOVE all the healthy options here! The protein coffee helps makes more of a meal out of a treat. The pastries are amazing! For Mothers Day they have a beautiful bouquet-making station this weekend. What a great idea!

Salt + Light Coffee is the kind of place that reminds you why supporting local matters. From the moment you take your first sip, it's clear: the quality of ingredients here is bar none. Every syrup is handcrafted by the owner, and the commitment to sourcing shines through -- from grass-fed butter to raw milk, everything is organic, natural, and thoughtfully chosen. I tried two drinks: the Brown Butter Sugar Babe and the Salted Honey Cinnamon Latte. Both were exceptional. The espresso pull was smooth and balanced, allowing the coffee to take center stage while the flavors played a subtle, supportive role. Nothing overpowering -- just beautifully layered taste that speaks to expert craftsmanship. The environment is equally inviting. Whether you're catching up with a friend, diving into schoolwork, or simply unwinding, Salt + Light offers a warm, relaxed space that feels like a second home. It's a place where intention meets execution -- and where every detail, from the drinks to the atmosphere, reflects care. The service just brings it all together for a great place. I'll absolutely be coming back. This is more than just a coffee shop -- it's a community cornerstone.

This is an amazing coffee shop with a focus on all organic and natural ingredients. Wonderful vibe with plenty of seating. The owner is wonderful to chat with and makes the best espresso drinks. This coffee shop is located in the courtyard of Foothill church but is open to the public.

The coffee tastes like a clean, bitter, cold brew with a foamy top. (Important: Bring Cash. There's a 4% Cash Discount.) I arrived at Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) on Thursday (around 12:13PM). Parking is simple but busy. There's a side lot for customers; sign says, "2 Hour Parking." Staff is courteous, no-nonsense, and diligent. Staff worked hard. Staff quickly answered all my questions. My coffee took about three minutes. Good time. As mentioned, I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew ($9 - Large - 24oz). The coffee is very standard. It tastes exactly like any imagined cold brew coffee. Personally, the roast tasted a little burnt, but it's a common, familiar coffee flavor. The strength was weak for a nitro, but the HUGE SIZE and affordability balances it all out. This is a functional, budget drink. On ambiance, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a HUGE success. There's a lot of utility. The location has a self-serve water station, public internet with no password, stacked high chairs for children, two game corners (ex: Chess, Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga, Uno Cards, Etc), and about one available electrical outlet. I also appreciated the retro, upbeat music and 1930s movie decor. In addition, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) has plenty of seating. There's about four interior tables, but there's also 16 outside patio tables. The location is clean, well-maintained, and well ventilated. Overall, Rail Side Cafe (San Dimas) is a good, local neighborhood spot. It offers affordable choice that are prepared "good enough." I wouldn't drive a long distance for this spot, but it's a decent option if you're already nearby. 4.5 out of 5

We were a group of 24 and we all had a wonderful time here. First, I want to commend the two ladies that catered to us during our visit. They were always there to make sure we were all good and if we needed anything. Friendly and made little chats with some of the ladies. The ambiance of the shop is welcoming and cozy. Decorated with items for purchase. Tables dressed to the T for a tea party experience! Mixed tea cup sets made it fun to admire the different prints. The food, from scones to dessert were perfect. My favorite are the raspberry scones and the strawberry balsamic dressing for the salad. The cute sandwich bites were tasty. No one can complain about the chocolate dipped strawberries! I thought that was our dessert, but it turns out the blueberry pudding was our dessert, that followed after the sandwich bites. The overall experience is simply delightful. What a great place to bring your mother, daughter, granddaughter and girlfriends here and experience an intimate tea party. I hope the ladies group will plan this again for next year!

Less than $20 for a pot of tea, scones, sandwiches, and desserts! The scones and sandwiches were really tasty, and we throughly enjoyed them. The only downside was the cake that was served - it tasted store bought and NOT homemade. Knowing this, I'd return for a cheaper menu item that excludes that. Highly recommend!
