My first time here was last year after the ladies group I belong to held an event here. They planned it again for this year and I did not want to pass up the opportunity to have tea here with my ladies. Reservations must be made to enjoy some tea. We were a group of 24 and we all had a wonderful time here. First, I want to commend the two ladies that catered to us during our visit. They were always there to make sure we were all good and if we needed anything. Friendly and made little chats with some of the ladies. The ambiance of the shop is welcoming and cozy. Decorated with items for purchase. Tables dressed to the T for a tea party experience! Mixed tea cup sets made it fun to admire the different prints. The food, from scones to dessert were perfect. My favorite are the raspberry scones and the strawberry balsamic dressing for the salad. The cute sandwich bites were tasty. No one can complain about the chocolate dipped strawberries! I thought that was our dessert, but it turns out the blueberry pudding was our dessert, that followed after the sandwich bites. The overall experience is simply delightful. What a great place to bring your mother, daughter, granddaughter and girlfriends here and experience an intimate tea party. I hope the ladies group will plan this again for next year! read more

We had a great time and experience here at Enchanted Rose Tea Parkour. It's expertly decorated and extraordinarily cozy. We came right before the holidays so we're able to enjoy some festive decor. The menu had probably the most affordable tea sets I've ever seen. Less than $20 for a pot of tea, scones, sandwiches, and desserts! The scones and sandwiches were really tasty, and we throughly enjoyed them. The only downside was the cake that was served - it tasted store bought and NOT homemade. There is always time for Enchanted Rose Tea Parlour. That place is magical. It is time to clear my mind and enjoy the tea elixir. I like to order the Enchanted Tea. It includes several courses. First, scones of the day which comes with clotted cream, lemon curd, jam and a little cup of fruits At this point, you can choose the tea of your choice. Second course, it is the choice of either salad or soup of the day. We chose salad and we ordered broccoli cheddar soup of the day à la carte. Third course, tea sandwiches and strawberry dipped chocolate. Fourth course, is cake of the day. The last one, is their famous pink rose chocolate which comes on a vintage doily, covering the bill. This little gem is tucked away in a business building on the first floor. Look for the mechanic shop and park behind it. I had to circle around twice before I figured it out. My sweet friend picked this place out knowing how much I love afternoon tea! We spent 3 hours here catching up and the waitress did not rush us. She was friendly and attentive. My friend and I both got the Enchanted Tea. It was relatively inexpensive. You get unlimited tea, switching flavors if you'd like. I've never seen so many tea choices! I enjoyed my peach bellini and rose petal tea. I chose the raspberry vinaigrette salad to start. It was drowning in dressing which I actually loved. I don't like salad that is dry. The scone of the day was blueberry scone. I'm not sure what you would do if you didn't like blueberry. Even the jam was blueberry! I loved it. It also came with clotted cream and lemon curd. I would've liked more of these. The sandwich plate came with 4 assortment of petit sandwiches. They were alright, nothing blew me away. I am very happy I found the enchanted rose tea parlor. It is very quaint. They have very cute items to purchase in the store. I had a going away party there and it was beautiful. They accommodated my party on a long table. They greeted everyone. They took the time to explain the service we were having. My table had the gingerbread and cinnamon vanilla teas. Delicious. The other group of 6 had the passion fruit tea and cinnamon orange and said it was delicious. I don't remember what the other group of 6 had. We had the enchanted. The soup was delicious. The salad was amazing. The scone - wow. Best I have had. Out came the sandwiches. We had 4 each and all were delicious and fresh. Then chocolate covered strawberries and dessert. I just hosted my Daughter in Love's Baby Shower yesterday at the Enchanted Rose Tea Parlour and it was perfect! Every detail from initial contact, reasonable pricing, set up, delicious and plentiful food, service and ambiance were spectacular! Jean and her staff are so accommodating, took lots of pictures for us and were so cheerful. Great quaint ambiance. The other places in Pasadena are so commercialized. This place is not. Service was excellent! We did the enchanted tea plus added the extra soup. Ive been to many tea rooms, Including a few in London so I was pleasantly surprised to find one so close to home. We parked on the street although I think there's parking in the back. This cute little tea room is located on the side of the building ,next to an antique store. Inside is a medium sized room with a few tables so it's recommended you make a reservation ahead of time. The room is very sweetly adorned in teapots and other lovely tea themed decor. We were greated warmly and given the menu with a large selection of teas, including caffeine free teas and juices for the kids. Our tea and food came out timed perfectly and the sandwiches and scones were tasty. Of course not as fancy and flavorful as the higher end tea places, but good enough. And the price point is very very reasonable for adults andwith princess tea prices for the kids under 11. We had a tradition of going to tea whenever my granddaughter visited from New Mexico. Unforgettable the place we used to go did not survive the pandemic, so I had to find a new tea place. After reviewing many places, I settled on the Enchanted Rose. Making a reservation was easy; I phoned ahead about two weeks prior. When the day arrived, we ( myself, two adult daughters, and three granddaughters) excitedly arrived and were greeted warmly and ushered to our table. The place was beautifully decorated with lovely lace curtains, beautiful dolls, comfy armchairs. I immediately noted the rag dolls displayed represented different ethnicities--that was a super "+" for this grandmother of mixed race children. So important for them to see themselves in different settings. There is also a gift store where you can buy tea and different trinkets. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating. ( I should have written her name down, I always think I'm gonna remember peoples name but I don't!) i liked the way she paid particular attention to my 7 year old granddaughter, explaining to her what came with her "princess" tea, and I was happy that they kept small children's tastebuds in mind and served child friendly chicken nuggets and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. The adult sandwiches were the usual tea fare, the scones were delicious, but the tea. OMG! We had the chocolate strawberry tea, the raspberry hibiscus, the passion fruit, Carmel vanilla, and peach Bellini. I can't tell you which one was my favorite because I loved them ALL! As I mentioned before, our waitress was awesome and a lady I believe was the owner also came over and checked on us during our stay. Superb service! The Enchanted Rose Tea Parlour is located at the San Dimas Town Center and there is plenty of public parking in the area. My cousin and I enjoyed Afternoon Tea here as our early Valentine's Day celebration with each other. I highly recommend making a reservation, as when I called the owner mentioned how she would have left earlier than day due to gaps in her schedule if we did not call in advance. The interior is quaint with a vintage feel. The teapots, cups, chairs here do not match, but don't get me wrong, everything was still super cute. It just has a homely touch to it. I would say this is one of the more humble afternoon tea experiences I have been to. My cousin and I opted for the Enchanted Tea ($17.75/person Wed-Sat, $25.04/person Sun-Tues). This includes the pot of tea, fruits, scone with spreads, soup or salad, tea sandwiches, chocolate dipped strawberry and dessert. Pot of Tea - Definitely the highlight of the visit. There was a decent selection of black teas, green teas, decaf alternatives, special edition teas, and more. My cousin enjoyed a caffeine free Chamomile Lemon tea and I had a pot of the Wild Blueberry black tea. Honey, milk and sugar were provided. We were given additional hot water refills a decent amount of time. Fruit - Diced fruit assortments of watermelon, pear, honeydew, cantaloupe and more. Unfortunately the fruits were not the freshest and most of them tasted bland. Scone - The freshly baked scone of the day were blueberry flavor and they went well with my tea selection. However I was not much of a fan of the actual scone. Accompanied by the traditional Devonshire cream, lemon curd and blueberry jam, I had to cover my scone in a decent amount of Devonshire cream and lemon curd to make the scone more palatable. Soup or Salad - Our choices were the soup of the day or the raspberry vinaigrette salad. The soup of the day was a corn chowder, which both of us selected. I really liked the creaminess of the corn chowder and the small mini cubes of potatoes mixed alongside the corn. Tea Sandwiches - 4 varieties of mini sandwiches in which none was memorable. There was a chicken salad sandwich, an artichoke sandwich, a turkey sandwich and I think a roasted tomato sandwich. These taste like something that might be packed for an elementary student's lunch. Bread was nothing fancy. Definitely premade since the bread was even on the cold side. Not a fan of the sandwiches here, and I was disappointed not to see any cucumber sandwiches for an afternoon tea experience. Chocolate dipped strawberry - The strawberries were large, but really sour. We both felt the random whipped cream was not necessary, and not very enjoyable. Dessert - A rose shape heart chocolate candy and a heart shaped cupcake topped with the same whip cream I didn't enjoy with the strawberries. The cake was dry and not tasty at all... It's pretty sad considering I am a sweet tooth. Overall the service was nice, but a bit on the slow side. I hope the lady hires help during the busy weekend. I enjoyed the ambiance and the tea, but not much of anything else. The prices here are much cheaper than other Afternoon Tea spots, but the quality is also inferior too. I would personally rather splurge on an experience where I actually enjoy the accompaniments. read more

Cute decor but that wasn't enough. There were 5 of us. Two had been there before. One called ahead to give them her gluten-free selection and ordered an iced tea. The other woman who had been there before ordered from the a la carte selections - a salad and the chicken spread. She asked for the chicken spread to be put on top of her salad and for her tea to be iced, which it said on the menu could be done. I ordered the top tier since it was my first time there. Chose hot mint herbal tea. The 2nd newbie ordered one of the options that I think didn't include salad and just water. The 3rd newbie ordered a cup of soup, salad, and hot tea. So, 3 different teas. We were told the iced teas would take longer. They were fine with that. The teas took forever to come out, like 20+ minutes. Waited at least 10 more minutes before they brought out the tiny fruit cups for those whose meals included fruit. At least another 10 minutes before the scones were brought out for those who had scones in their order. Tiny little containers of jam, lemon curd, and whipped cream for us to share. Our reservation was for 1:30 and when the reservation was made they said they close at 3. So, we're thinking now that we're going to have to rush through our food when it finally comes. We then find out they'll be open until 5. ‍ The salads come out next. They didn't ask the one woman who ordered hers with the chicken if she wanted hers to be served with the salads or when the sandwiches were served so we could all eat together. They also brought the soup for the other woman with her salad. So, the 5 of us are done, and the sandwiches haven't come out yet. Another 10-15 later one 2 tiered tray comes out with sandwiches on it and is put in the middle of the table. We had previously been told we would each get our own trays. So, one of the newbies asks whose tray is that one? The server, very snippy, says I was just going to explain that. It's for ALL of you. The gluten-free free ones are on the top. The other orders on the bottom are separated by 2 cookies. Meanwhile, while waiting for the sandwiches, the owner comes to pick up dishes and says your order is taking a while because you ladies are being difficult in regard to your orders. If they want everyone to order the same thing, or only from preplanned meals, then don't offer meal options or a la carte items. So, the two ladies who ordered a la carte were finished with their food by the time our sandwiches came and sat there watching us eat. The owner came by again to ask those of us who had desserts coming what we wanted and made reference to us being difficult again. The 3 of us asked for our desserts to go because it was now past 3:30 and one of the ladies had her ride waiting in the parking lot because she was originally told we had to be out of there by 3. Took a while for the desserts to come out. No checks yet. I finally went up to ask if I could pay for mine, and the owner said yes, were you one of the difficult ones? Seriously??? Way overpriced for what we received in both food and service. I won't be going back, nor will I be recommending that anyone else go there. How to improve? Maybe have your server ask if anyone at the table is there for the first time and then explain your process rather than getting annoyed when your customers ask questions. Also, as the owner, you might want to rethink telling your customers that they're being 'difficult' for ordering options listed on your menu. If you don't want options to be chosen don't offer them. I won't be giving your establishment a 2nd try and won't be recommending that anyone give it a 1st try. read more

But this time around I had to tell them after they brought out the assortment and although they told me they were running out of bread...??! They did go back and make me a PBJ and cucumber sandwich to replace the meat versions. Wish they had a detailed menu to show what they serve, it would help customers a lot to know what they will be getting. The employees were all nice and friendly. Our server was very accommodating and returned to our table many times to ask how we were doing and how we liked the food. The place is cute and has intricate details and tea pots and cups and things you can buy around the restaurant. Some tips for the owner: Only thing that bothered me was the smell as soon as I walked in the place. It has an "old" smell, can't put an exact name to it but maybe they should use an oil diffuser to liven up the place to make it smell nice. What a quaint little gem Let me start off by saying that pictures can't really do this place justice. I've travelled a ton and it had a very European tea shop feel. This past weekend I threw my sisters bridal shower at Enchanted Rose. We had a party of 14, it was our family and my sisters future in-laws. Let me start by saying that the owner was incredibly understanding when about 5 (the in-laws) did not show up. They did not charge us which was unexpected and much appreciated! Just recently had a small baby sprinkle lunch here with some girlfriends. Thanks Jean for the effort in making this fun and beautiful. This is not my first high tea experience but it was for the ladies in my group. If this is new to you then this will give you a pretty good glimpse of it. Every tea room is different and rated this a 4 only because I am comparing it to other tea room sandwiches and noticed the difference in the tier dishes that were served. Would definitely recommend this place, but if you want to try more high end options then there are other tea rooms in neighboring areas. Those places come with a price and you basically get what you pay for, same goes with this location. I would say this would be more on the inexpensive end. The tea we selected was delicious and will say it was definitely a relaxing experience! My party and I all got the enchanted tea option. We each got fruit, a scone, an option of soup or salad, a selection of sandwiches and several chocolate dipped strawberries served on a 3 tier dish (which was shared between all 5 of us) and a dessert at the end. I slightly misunderstood how the enchanted tea package would be served. I was under the impression that if each individual orders the enchanted tea package that each person would get their own 3 tier dish. Which to me made sense if you're paying the full price of $18.75 per person. Just thought I would share that and would clarify for anyone who comes with a group.
