Scheduled haircuts for myself and my 7 year old daughter. I have a short bob hair cut that needed to be fixed due to previous cut that did not go well. My daughtet was going from long to a short hair cut. Sophia was available and she did a fantastic job! i truly can't recommend salt + light enough. i've been seeing morgan for my hair for over 10 years, and i currently drive over an hour and a half to come here. i wouldn't do that if it wasn't 100% worth it!! everyone at the salon is so kind, welcoming, and makes you feel comfortable the second you walk in. the vibe is relaxed and inviting, and you can tell they genuinely care about their clients. salt + light is truly a special place, and i'm so grateful to have found a salon i trust completely. highly recommend. read more

On a whim, I made a same-day appointment online to add butterfly layers to my hair. I did at least do my research beforehand (thanks Yelp!) & found Charlie at Salt + Light. There are many talented stylists there who have their Instagram pages conveniently linked on their website. Upon coming across Charlie's I noticed that one of the things he specializes in is layered cuts. After seeing the proof in his photos, I was sold. Charlie has been doing hair for 18 years & although it's hard to tell that because he looks so young, his hands move like that of a seasoned professional. He asked pertinent questions before getting started & walked me through what he did, how he did it, & products used. I look forward to booking with him again in the future. The salon was very clean & well-kept. They have a cute little boutique area in front where they sell not only hair products but clothes & jewelry as well. They even had a cute Mother's Day event complete with tiny tattoos, permanent jewelry, & several other things that I was really hoping to have the chance to attend. read more

Wow! What a beautiful transformation. This space used to be occupied but a Tuscan inspired salon. The physical transformation is lovely. Light, clean, sunshine everywhere. I had a great pedicure with Dee Dee! She's a professional who is friendly and thorough. My nails look great, my skin looks so much better. My legs felt good leaving. They have a good variety of color choices. The pedicure station is tucked away in a nice room, it was quiet and only has three seats so I imagine it never gets super loud and overwhelming. I've book my return visits already. Super excited this place opened last year. It's a nice addition to the salon landscape, it's not a chain and I feel great supporting local. And truly, it's so nice to sit in a beautiful space. read more

I really wanted to like this place but was BEYOND disappointed. I took my daughter for a haircut there and booked with a hair stylist for a same day appointment. That should have been my first watch out. I thought I was paying $27 for a kids cut (and totally my bad for not reading the starting at $27) but they booked me for a "master stylist" without mentioning he was a master stylist. My daughter's hair is a mess. It looks like I cut her hair. The cut is lopsided and I thought we were only cutting off a couple inches but the cut was more than what I was expecting. I was upset and wanted to get out of there that I didn't even realize her cut was uneven. Then I went to pay and was beyond shocked that, with tip, her hair cut ended up costing me over $50. The front desk was unapologetic for not informing me he was a higher level stylist before. He didn't even wash her hair - it was a dry cut. Also, my daughter was well behaved - sitting and watching her iPad the entire time. So I can't realize find excuses in my head why the hair cut would be so bad. Unless you have a go to stylist there, I definitely don't recommend it. read more

I have always had amazing experiences with Salt + Light! I needed an expert to give me guidance on the color and cut that worked best for me, and I found it ten-fold here! I've worked with Kate for my hair and she has been AMAZING. Always has a plan, always open to changes or redirection, and makes me feel so welcome. Everyone at the salon has been friendly and welcome -- I feel like I'm home when I'm there! They clearly care about their clients and their team. They've been very open about training the next generation of stylists and it's awesome to hear them teach as they go. I've also gone there for facials, massages, and manicures. That open friendliness applies to everyone I've worked with! I've worked with Emily for my nails and when I came back the next time with changes, she took it in stride with a smile! This entire team is dedicated to making you look and feel your best. I've been referring everyone to Salt + Light for a reason. read more

Salt & Light are not that great in informing their long time customers about salon increases or policy changes. BEWARE! Go to Mitchells Salon and Day Spa. They are professional, client Serving and are not money hungry like Salt & Light. They gave me a certificate to come back as a client! read more

Such a beautiful, open, cozy welcoming atmosphere from the second you enter! The entire staff greets you at every turn with a smile and makes you feel at home. While I follow Josie, Morgan and Emily and refer anyone I know to them for my ALWAYS changing color wants and styles; I'm confident anyone would leave there beautiful. Michelle has given me multiple wonderful, relaxing personalized facials that I continue to book. I've never been the type of person to leave a review for anything, especially hair. Unfortunately in some ways I did not have the best experience here. When it comes to the staff they were all amazing, and the salon was gorgeous. Though when it comes to my hair, I'm not super pleased. I came in last minute to get a cut and a balayage. From certain angles my hair looks phenomenal, but others are not so great. By my roots the color starts very abruptly and bluntly, which is not characteristic of a balayage at all. It's very smooth and seamlessly blended. Also on one side of my head the color is very chunky and streaky, unlike what a balayage is. The thing is the other side is more blended... which tells me that she knows how to blend more, but might have been rushing with my hair. When I lay $255 without tip to get my hair done, I would just expect it to be flawless and that's not the case. I am scared to straighten my hair because if it's all streaky and chunky when it's curled, it's going to be a million times more obvious when it's straight. Before we started I emphasized many times to the stylist that I like everything very blended and natural looking. read more
