My husband was in this office in June to have a crown put back on his tooth as the crown fell out It was our impression that the crown was replaced with a solid glue and that it would not come out within 6 months or even many years But this week the crown fell out again so we went to a different dentist in Tempe We were told it was not done properly the last time The new guy had to clean up the tooth and then cemented it No he did not glue it like before There is no way that that crown should've fallen out between June and November We doubt that it was even put in properly to begin with and just one more reason why we are very unhappy with that dental office We should have a reimbursement from Chaparral Dental as we spent $250 in June in their office to have that crown put back on and now we spent another $250 today to have another dentist cement it in place It has now been done correctly read more

I needed a dentist desperately. I have a bridge with 4 crowns all front teeth. Three of the 4 crowns became loose. My fear was that I would be enjoying dinner and they would come out. Being a snow bird, I had to find a dentist before my fear became a reality. I found Chaparral Dentist and they were able to get me in the next morning-excellent! In fact, they called me to come in earlier-even better. Neil, (I believe that's his name is) greeted me - extremely professional and kind - great customer service. Lisa, dental assistant, took me in to meet the dentist - again, very professional and kind. I then met with dentist. He gave me 2 options to fix my teeth. 1) take my chances and have them taken out and glued back in. However, could not guarantee it would work. 2) cut them out and get a new bridge. Neither of these options were viable as I have an appointment scheduled to replace them in Pennsylvania on March 11th. I was in the office for approximately 5 minutes and was charged $98.00. I totally understand paying a fee for the dentist's time. However, $98.00 was absurd for 5 minutes. The dentist wanted to do an x-ray, which was pointless because he couldn't glue them. I'm so glad I opted not to do a useless x-ray or who knows what I would have been charged!! Excellent customer service, but $98.00 for 5 minutes was ridiculous! Feeling ripped off!!!!! read more

This was the first time to Dr. Hamblin. He was recommended by a family friend. I was having 2 crowns done and I was nervous. Dr Hamblin was amazing! He has a soft touch and was concerned about my fear. It was over before I knew it. Lisa was Dr. Hamblins assistant and she was right in sync with him. I'd come to the office in late December for a teeth cleaning. Rob did a great job, the kind that you run your tongue across your teeth and they feel clean. The office is very upbeat! I don't have enough good things about Chaparral Dental, bur specifically Dr Tricoli!! I do not like my teeth being touched after having a really horrible experience in my past with another dentist. He has completely made me feel so comfortable with a dentist again. He is gentle, and efficient. He is so funny and makes me laugh the whole time, I actually ENJOY going to the dentist again! He removed my wisdom tooth the other day so quick and efficiently. Gave me some laughing gas and said "now I can tell someone all my bad jokes." I wish I could give him 100 stars. I was referred to Dr. Tricoli by our son, who had been a patient for several years. I had visited several other dentists over the last few years and been told I needed varying work (I am fifty-four,) each dentist recommending something different in a different area of my mouth. I was perplexed because, prior to our dentist passing away, he always said, "Nice teeth CK, keep it up." When I mentioned this to our son, his response was, "Dad, I have the best dentist in town." He was so right. Dr. Tricoli, without any prompting from me, did the normal exam and x-rays, and said, "You have beautiful teeth and you take excellent care of them." No work required. In this day and age of dentists attending seminars on how to bill more, rehearse on how to "generate concern," etc., this is a very refreshing experience. An honest dentist that does not look to build his revenue stream on the mouths of unsuspecting patients. His office ambiance is professional, elegantly simple and soothing. I have nice teeth, no cavities, no big gaps, nothing...just nice teeth. So, when I refer people to Dr. Tricoli, they say "you don't have any problems with your teeth--why would I listen to you?" Because I have nice teeth.... And, a GREAT dentist! The office is clean, relaxing, and friendly. The assistant is friendly and very thorough. The receptionist, Christi, is a doll and very nice and accomodating. The dentist, Dr. Martin Tricoli is AWESOME! He is not a "product or procedure pusher" and is top notch in his skills. So I haven't been to the dentist in over 2 years so naturally I'm a little afraid to walk through those dental doors and meet my fate. On top of that, I am not looking forward to being lectured about how I don't floss enough or exactly how I need to brush. But, I needed a good dentist in my area so I made an appointment with Chapparal Dental. First of all, his staff is amazing. I had to reschedule my appointment a couple times and Christy was really flexible and always very nice. His office is clean, with a good selection of magazines and good music to boot. As far as the actual dental experience goes, Dr. Tricolli is the best dentist I have had. He was pleasant, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. He actually walked through my X-Rays with me and explained what was going on in my mouth. His bedside manner is excellent as well. He had suggestions as far as my oral hygiene went but never forced anything on me and didn't judge me on the fact that flossing is not necessarily an everyday activity for me. I actually walked out of his office looking forward to coming back in 6 months. That doesn't happen often I'm sure. read more

Love this office! I was referred by a friend and have been going here for a year and a half. Everyone is so friendly. I'm only there once every 6 months, so I know they don't actually remember me, but they act like they do. There's never any hassle or even a wait. In fact, yesterday, they got me out early! She was required to have some extractions (for spacing purposes) and was SCARED TO death, well we'll say near death. He was amazing with putting her at ease and did an excellent job breaking down the technical stuff into 14 year old fraidy' cat speak! Her hygienist was just as amazing, she had a very thorough cleaning so I definitely anticipated major soreness....but it was extremely minimal w/ max results! She was just as explicating and totally relatable. We've since returned for her work to be done and I CANNOT believe how relaxed she was prior to. Now it's my turn and he's totally put me at ease. I'm not so much scared just embarrassed and not partial to being lectured. He's made me feel comfortable and I'm not so worried anymore about the judgement I might have faced elsewhere.
