This place is RACIST!! They don't like black folks at all i highly don't recommend this place if you're African American. Warning: this bar is not a safe place for women!!! Before arriving at midnight on a Friday evening, my friend's partner (male) warned me about the aggressiveness of the men at this establishment. I told him I appreciated the heads up, but thought I'd be alright. A bouncer (older, overweight, bald, goatee) who checked our IDs made a lewd comment about my friend's breasts in front of me and her partner. She immediately covered her chest with her arms, completely uncomfortable. This is not only totally unprofessional but also it's SEXUAL HARASSMENT! Later, when I go to tip the bartenders for their dance, I jokingly tell the guys "if you watch them, you pay them!" and make a sweeping gesture to honor their performance. These girls are working hard and should be compensated for their efforts! When I return to my seat, the same bouncer who harassed my friend comes up to me and tells me I have to leave. I am shocked but I comply and gather my things. As I am leaving, he calls me "a stupid b*tch." This is the kind of bar that caters to men--specifically WHITE men--only. Women are objectified and ogled, creating an atmosphere where oafish male employees feel entitled to sexually harass their female patrons or engage in power trips if a woman dares to vocalize support for her fellow women. Men like this are a disgrace. And they have no right to be employed by a business that is female-owned. Ladies, go to another dive. Warning: This place stole from me. I ordered two drinks and left a $5 tip, totaling $18 -- which I clearly wrote on the receipt. The next day, I saw a $50 tip charged to my card. This place is pretty divey. Seems like the local watering hole where the bar-goers from the surrounding neighborhoods show up regularly keeping it in business. Like a WT version of CHEERS and Coyote Ugly, but more like Tatted Coyote with emphasis on the 'tatted'. Heavlity tattooed staff make sure to give you a show dancing in booty shorts, puts the 'Dirty' in Dirty Dogg. They seem to be catering to a specific bearded-motorcycle -riding crowd. Shuffle Board and Test Your Might punching bag video game there for the competitive drunks. Pretty small bar. Capacity of 40 would be shoulder to shoulder. read more

I love this place. Nikki, the owner, always works hard to ensure that her patrons have a great time. Recently, my family visited me in Phoenix. I had cousins from as far away as Australia in for a visit, so I made sure to bring them here for a fun night. Everyone had a complete blast. Nikki, teaching my brother-in-law how to motorboat is one of my funniest memories of their visit. She should be happy to know that his mates in Australia now call him "motorboat Mike." It's a fantastic spot for a fun night out. read more

It's a biker bar and it looked so fun but there was only one person there. So sad! I personally feel that if you are at risk stay home but I want to support the small businesses and the employees that are trying to survive. Wash your hands, wear your mask, social distance, and whatever you do, don't sing. Elizabeth thank you so much for making our first, but not our last visit there. I would rate it a 3 if it were in Portland, but Pheonix is really lacking in good dive bars that are we put together. This seemed to be a biker bar, but on the lite side. Worst bar I have been to in a long time. We walked in with 6 people & the place was almost completely empty. We were standing there with the 6 of us trying to figure out what drinks we want. The rude red haired bartender with gauges said "Well someone needs to hurry up & figure it out soon." Dirty Dogg does not mess around! We showed up on Wednesday night for my friend's birthday. During Biker week. At 7pm, the place was already rocking out to a live band and bartenders hula hooping, upside down above the bar. It's definitely the most unique dive bar I've ever experienced. The tatt'd up bartenders and waitresses are overtly friendly, taking drink orders the second you step in the door. Special occasion, or not, you can do a body shot with any one of them. Be ready to fork over $20 cash for it, though. I've heard Wednesday nights are busy and this night was no exception. Get there as early as you can to secure a table or spot at the bar. I ordered Irish car bombs from our waitress, Brianna. She was nice enough to inform me that they were $11 a pop. Ridiculous! But, "when in Rome," right? They did have cheap Mexican bottled beers to make up for it. They don't serve food, but are OK with bringing in your own. They even offer menus for restaurants that deliver. We ordered NYPD Pizza from next door and ate by bar. Dirty Dogg is a dive bar on steroids: Half biker bar, half strip club. If you plan to stop by, be prepared for a rowdy night. read more

A friend and I went to this place about a week ago. It's a dive bar, but I like dive bars, so that part didn't bother me at all. What I found very strange was the hula-hooping bartenders. If you're sitting at the bar, they ask you to move your drinks so the hula-hoopers don't knock them over. These girls were all very beautiful, but then to have to watch them get up on the bar with these lit up hula hoops and swing from the monkey bars hanging from the ceiling, I couldn't help but feel bad for them. It's also very annoying when you're sitting at the bar, it's a weird distraction. I would think it's against some kind of OSHA regulation. The owner would be better off having boxes up high or a mechanical lifting stage for the Hula-Hoopers if he hast to have that. The decor is all over the place, it looks like they went to an old thrift store and took the leftovers nobody else wanted. All of the TV's are playing rock 'n' roll music, which is cool. The employees we encountered were super nice. It's just a weird themed bar. If any bar is in need of Bar Rescue, this is it. The bf had been wanting to go here for months after hearing that it was like Coyote Ugly. We went on a Saturday. It's sticky, crowded, and filled with a retirement crowd. 1 of the girls dancing that night was talented with the hula hoop, but honestly, no one was paying much attention and it was so packed you could barely move on the floor.
