I visited Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row for the first time, stopping in around 4:00 p.m. on Saturday for an early dinner. The restaurant and bar were not busy, so I expected prompt service, but unfortunately the service was surprisingly slow. I ordered the Fish & Chips, and I will give credit where it's due, even though it wasn't a large serving, the food itself was good. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the visit. The noise level inside the restaurant was overwhelming. The music was excessively loud, and to be honest not all that good of selection, making conversation difficult, and the staff were laughing and talking loudly just to be heard over it. It created a chaotic atmosphere that wasn't enjoyable, especially for an early evening meal in an almost empty restaurant/bar. What concerned me most was the overall cleanliness. There was food on the floor, crumbs and debris on the tables, and dirt and food particles and trash along the ledge surrounding our booth. It didn't look like these areas had been properly cleaned for quite some time. The television above our booth was covered with fingerprints, smudges, and food splatter, and the windows and patio doors were equally dirty. When the front-of-house is in that condition, it naturally makes you wonder what the kitchen and back-of-house look like. To add to the disappointment, my bill included a 4% "Event Venue Fee." There was no live music, private event, or special function taking place, just a quiet early evening meal. Charging an event fee under those circumstances felt unjustified and left a poor final impression. While Whiskey Row may be a fun destination for live entertainment or a special event, I would not recommend it as a place to enjoy a meal. Between the slow service, excessive noise, lack of cleanliness, unexplained additional fee, and super high prices, the experience simply did not live up to the reputation or the celebrity name attached to it. 4/19/25 This is our official dine in visit and the beginning of our Old Town Scottsdale tour tonight! Food 5/5 Excellent! Whiskey Burger is everything I expected. Great toppings worked perfectly together! My side was the garlic fries which were delicious too. My wife went light with the pretzel bites which she enjoyed and she shared my Burger. Service 5/5 We were greeted by the friendly hostess who let up pick our spot. Our waitress Kennedy stopped over quickly to take drink orders and our food when she return. It wasn't nightlife yet so food came out quickly. She checked on us regularly, Great experience! Came to whiskey row with a bachelorette group of 9 as it wasn't as packed as other places and a bit easier to order a drink. They played a mashup of music and had a dance floor set in front of a large screen and DJ. A bouncer approached us asking to dance at the table I'm guessing to attract outsiders to come in so we were at a table for bit. The bartenders sometimes took a bit to get to customers.. I asked for water and wasn't sure she heard me as she then served multiple people before getting a water. This was our first bar of the night, and it was great! We ordered the Blueberry Lemonade cocktail and I loved it! It was the perfect amount of sweetness and you could taste the kick of alcohol as well. We went towards 9PM, so it wasn't as lively as it would be towards the end of the night, but I still loved the vibes. I wish they played more country music, but that's just me! Top-Notch Experience at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row Scottsdale! We went to Whiskey Row for the first time to catch the Go Big Red Nebraska football watch party, and it could not have been a better experience. We had friends visiting from out of town and made a last-minute reservation with Mike, the GM, who went above and beyond to accommodate a special request. He not only made it happen but also personally greeted us when we arrived, a rare and genuine touch of hospitality these days. The atmosphere was electric, the Nebraska crowd was incredible, and the entire staff made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Between the great energy, top-notch service, and Mike's attention to detail, it was an A+ experience all around. We'll definitely be back for future games. We've stopped into Dierks a couple of times now, and both visits were great! The manager was kind enough to put the Mariners ALCS game on for us the first day we came in--and again last night--even though it was a Nebraska game night and all the TVs are supposed to be on Nebraska. We tucked away on the other side of the bar and got to watch our team win Game 5! The bartenders were super friendly as well and even cheered us on! It's that kind of hospitality that makes a place memorable. Great drinks, friendly staff, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! read more

Didn't try any of the food, but the drinks were good and reasonably priced for the area. Have been to the Gilbert location many times we were excited to finally be in Scottsdale to check out the sister bar and boy were we disappointed. The venue in Gilbert is laid out so nice with a dance floor and stage for the performers. This one has a staircase to get up to the performers and you can't see them sitting at the bar. It's kinda hard to tell the difference if they're playing or if it's just music being piped through the speakers. Then on our first visit to this location, they are completely out of draft beer and many of the food items and then the cherry on top is they charge a 4% venue surcharge for a crappy venue. If you ever wanna convince a customer never to come back to your establishment go ahead and charge them a surcharge for BS. Needless to say, we won't be coming back to this location read more

With a friend's recommendation, my wife and I decided to check this place out while we were out in Chandler. On a Saturday night, we went in and the occupancy rate if I would have to guess at around maybe 80%. Still a packed crowd nonetheless, with the decors and lighting with a live performance happening we knew this spot was happening around town. Here are my thoughts on the food we ordered: Appetizer: Whiskey wings (10/10) - This was in my opinion the star of the night. The wings were uniquely seasoned added with their inhouse whiskey bbq sauce should be a must try for all newcomers to this restaurant! Entrees: Beer can chicken (9/10) - This chicken was tender and tasty with a slight scent of beer in them. It was slightly saltier then I would have preferred, otherwise decently made. BBQ Platter (5/10) - This platter you would think came with all types of meat right? Wrong! The only meat you get here is some brisket and sausage for meat. The dish is complimented with some corn bread, house fries, bbq sauce, and pickles. I was a bit disappointed at the brisket. They were a little hard and dry and without the bbq sauce, this would have been a hard one to eat. The sausage and the remaining items were okay, nothing that you haven't had in other bbq like restaurants. I really didn't like the brisket much and thus I couldn't finish the plate. Service: (10/10) - I can't recall my waitress' name but she was really attentive to our needs. She earned the decent tip we gave her and an extra star here for this review bumping it from 3 to 4. All in all, I would say if you do come here, order their chicken. It is quite evident that they had a lot more chicken on the menu and it is indeed the better choice on meat to eat here. The vibe is lively with cool decors from the inside, think bbq/bar type environment. I would recommend staying away from brisket here though. read more

Came to Dierks Bentley's on a Friday night. Arrived around 7 pm and it was busy but not overly crowded. Greeted immediately upon entering by the hostess who said bar seating or table seating was available. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartenders were quick all had great attitudes. Took our drink order and prepared the drinks quickly. Started off with the spinach dip and pita. The pitas were grilled and soft the spinach dip creamy and delicious. She Gave us ample time to review the menu for food and we went with the Spicy Chicken sandwich and thought the PBJ slider looked good. One of the bartenders said she hadn't tried it but one of the managers loved it. Decided to give it a try. It is angus beef, American cheese, chunky peanut butter, berry jam and chipotle mayo. Sounded like a very interesting combination. I am glad I tried it. It was very unique and I enjoyed it. I can see where it might not be for everyone but I will definitely order it again. The chicken sandwich was not overly spicy and tasted good. Also ordered sweet potato fries which were crisp and exactly how I thought they would be. As the night progressed it got very busy and our spot at the bar was perfect. After the band finished, a DJ took over and that's when the night really stopped to heat up. The outfits they were wearing were pretty sexy. Before you knew it was very busy and everyone was dancing and having fun. But eh end of the night we had a throughly good time. I visited this bar over the weekend as part of a bachelorette trip, and I cannot stress this enough: do not go here. Two members of our group were drugged and had to be rushed to the ER. At the hospital, we were told by security staff that this wasn't the first time they've seen this happen.. several others have come in with the same symptoms, all traced back to this bar. This is horrifying and completely unacceptable. I'm writing this review not out of anger, but as a warning to others. If you choose to go here despite the risks, please never leave your drink unattended and watch out for your friends. read more

If you're a fan of this "Beers on Me" singer, you'll love his bar. It's a rowdy time with loud live music, a decent draft beer selection and a small dance floor to break out your best moves. The two stars is for the food, service and mysterious venue/gruttitudy fee. I don't think we would have been upset with the built in gruttitudy fee but our waitress barely addressed us after we declined bottle service. To me, this just felt completely uncool. At the end of the weekend the group consensus was that this was our favorite night out. I was nervous bringing such a large group there but we got treated so nicely by Alex.
