First time at a professional spa which was recommended by my coworkers. SO HAPPY I WENT. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I booked a couple weeks in advance by calling and telling them the services I wanted. I think that's easier than trying to book multiple services online.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Anyway, I went alone Wednesday as a pre-birthday celebration. It was so relaxing. I came early to enjoy tea and rub my feet on the salt domes in the waiting area. There are skincare products and even jewelry that you can look at if you wish. Red light therapy 7/10: The worker was very clear with her instructions. It was a nice 20 minutes away from my phone. Chairs weren't too comfy in this booth. I had some time to sit down with my feet on the salt domes again, drinking my tea. Maaan, I would give the salt domes a 10/10 just by themselves. I tend to have cold feet so they made my feet feel LOVELY, especially with this cold weather. Zen bed 8/10: super relaxing, warm bed. Ocean sounds. Heated & weighted eyemask. I almost fell asleep. Coconut scalp massage + 30 minute custom massage 8/10: My masseuse was soft spoken and listened when I asked for a little more pressure. She even recommend that I try a deep tissue massage next time. She did a great job focusing on my neck which is what I asked for. Again, the bed was warmed. The room's lighting was very aesthetic. Really set the mood. read more

This past Saturday, I held my best friend's bachelorette party at this facility. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had booked them well in advance and emailed them asking if I could set up decorations for the bachelorette party.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I booked the $300 Salt Spa Wedding party group thing for after hours. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The spawn let me arrive early to start setting up on the day of, and then I begged them to finish the decorations and put out all the food I brought... to make the party special![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This place went above and beyond for me! They not only decorated, they laid out all the food for me, they put my vision to life. I have never had a bad experience. We come here once a month after leaving massage envy. The atmosphere is very calming and I love their waiting room. Lots of salt related decor and a little tea and water bar area. The massages are nice with nice little extras that we would have been charged for at massage envy. read more

I was excited to treat myself and booked the all day escape which included a facial, massage, and salt room. What a relaxing 4 hours! I started with the 60 min jade facial which was so amazing. I felt so relaxed and glowy afterward. Then I was guided to a quiet, private room where I enjoyed a glass of wine and a cheese/nut/apple plate to myself. From there I was taken to the salt room for a 45 min session where I was given headphones and listened to a guided meditation. Lastly, I ended with the 60 min massage, which was the service I was looking forward to most. My masseuse had a firm hand, which I needed but it wasn't as relaxing as my facial and left me a bit sore. The only thing I wish they had was a shower! I was so oily afterward and there's only so much you can wipe off with a towel. Putting my clothes back on after all of that was a bit gross. I really wanted to leave feeling fresh. Overall though, it was a lovely 4 hours and just what I needed to take time for myself and reset. I definitely will be back! read more

Salt Room: Lean back and just let yourself relax. We took the meditation tape. It was okay. But we're giggly girls lol. I'm restless so I played with the floor salt; felt great on my feet honestly. Massage: It was only 30 min but MAN did that lady know what she was doing. 100% coming back for a more extensive massage. (Made myself a coffee and paired with those buiscuits, while waiting for the next part here. Also grabbed a blanket.) Facial: My skin felt a bit tender after but it was glowing!! This place is totally gorgeous and so different than other spas in Bel Air. They have a beautiful, spa like setting and so many treatment options! I went for the open house today and was so impressed! Emily is the massage therapist and she was so nice. I cannot wait to try a massage that is a huge and beautiful room that's very spa like and relaxing which is often hard to find. My other favorite thing is that they offer wraps and salt treatments with a Vichy- like shower. There's nobody who does that around here and it's my absolute favorite treatment. i have been visiting the Salt Works for a couple years and I can't rave enough about how wonderful the facility is. You feel so pampered when you are there. I have used the Sauna, the Jade Bed, the Salt Room many times but this week I tried the Halotherphy (salt & red light). This was a new experience for me though I have tried the red light mask before. I enjoyed the Halotherphy - I was comfortable, I wore my bathing suit with a wrap, you wear a pair of sun glasses, it is bright but I was very relaxed enjoying the salt aroma, frankly I could have fallen asleep - the 20 minutes went quickly. Booked a massage for my birthday here. I had a great experience, the place was decorated so cute for the holidays with items from local shops available for purchase. It was clean and everyone was very friendly. Karen did a great job on my massage. Steve found out it was my birthday and upon leaving gave me a handwritten card with a candy wishing me a happy birthday and thanking me for the business. I booked A reiki massage for my mother for Christmas. I intended to book a reiki infused massage but must have clicked the wrong one. I payed for it ahead of time. Instead of calling me and asking me to put $5 extra down for the reiki infused massage they had my mom pay the extra $5 at the register. And not only that they asked how much she wanted to give for gratuity. As if tipping was mandatory. It says that nowhere on the site. So my mom was confused but offered to give a $10 tip. They told her that it was mandatory 20% tipping so she said okay $15 and was told the same thing until she gave $20 for a tip. My mom just so happened to be carrying cash that day but if she hadn't she would've felt even more embarrassed the way those ladies were making her feel ostracized about tipping on a service that was a gift! The nerve to strong arm her about a tip knowing it was a gift from her daughter and my mother didn't intend to be spending any money for the service. I corresponded with the company 3 or 4 times before my moms appointment to ensure there was nothing that needed to be done on my end to ensure my mom had a pleasant experience for her Christmas massage and then one last time to make my payment before she went in, and never once did the front desk person ask if i wanted to add a little extra on my moms gift card for gratuity to avoid that whole scene. When I called to complain after my mom told me, I was told that tipping wasn't mandatory at all. It was just "standard". The nerve. No remorse and just condescending tone from the lady on the phone. Perhaps because my mother is black, they wanted to get money out of her because they know she wasn't the one who payed for her visit. Disgusting. And it really ruined her beautiful massage. I'll never work with them again not that it matters to them but just so you know, they will surprise you with a mandatory 20% tipping strong arm speech at the register. I got to try the Jade bed and the Zen bed there both wonderful very relaxing you can listen to meditation or just relax. I had not gotten waxing done in years because of bad experiences but I decided to try this place out and it was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and offered me refreshments and some type of salt foot treatment type of thing while I was filling out my form. I made an appointment prior and was taken right back when I arrived. Eden was fantastic and consulted with me about I wanted and what type of wax I preferred and helped me choose what was best for me... and the end result is better than I could have even hoped for. Had a scheduled a Reflexology treatment for this morning followed by a Salt room session. All I can say is ahhhhmazing !!! My feet/legs and hands feel amazing and I was so relaxed during the entire time. My therapist was just great, her technique was just perfect. I could not have asked for a better treatment. I followed that with a salt room session which was also great - peaceful and relaxing. The guided meditation through the headphones helps to get you the most benefits from the session.
