I have to admit, we picked Saltgrass based on proximity to our hotel and the mall. We were seated rather quickly on a Monday around 630pm. The waitress explained the menu and gave recommendations. I went with the sirloin, basked potato and Cesar salad. I feel like that's a pretty standard order at a steak house. I'm going to be honest, I didn't enjoy any part of my meal besides the conversation. The baked potato was fine but I would've loved it to be baked with oil and salt, a little more flavor. There's steak was cooked as ordered but was tough, a bit bummer. My coworker got the ribeye and also didn't feel like it was a good experience. Overall I'm a little shocked at the experience for the price point I probably would've went to Texas Roadhouse or Logan's. To me it wasn't worth it and not a place we're planning to return to. read more

Service was great and kudos to our waitress for being so attentive. Menu was very expensive when considering quality of the food. We had breaded mushrooms as an appetizer that were. They were massive and very good. I had lunch portion of chicken fried steak (CFS) and mashed potatoes with white gravy. I've certainly had much better CFS and felt it was overpriced for the quality. Wife had CFS and Brussels sprouts. She really liked the sprouts and had no issues with the CFS (but she admits that she isn't a CFS expert). read more

The food is decent but there is typically a problem with delivery. I've had delivery drivers that let me know that the order did not exist and the same issue months later when we finally gave them another chance. The delivery driver let us know they are rude and part of the order "doesn't exist". We are done at this point. It isn't work the trouble, look elsewhere. read more

Which was questionable but that's ok we had lots of privacy the waiter was nice but didn't seem to like that I asked for extra dressing and cheese for my salad, also I like steak sauce on my steak and had to ask for that too.... I don't often give 5 stars but our experience tonight (Saturday) was great. The place was packed but we were seated as soon as we walked in. Our server was Sabrina who was nice and kept an eye on us throughout our visit. Ordered fried mushrooms as appetizer, which are always good. Then we split the 16 ounce ribeye, which was probably the best steak we've had in Little Rock. The sweet potato was perfect and the Caesar salad was one of the best. We ate here after shopping/escape room-ing at the nearby outlets because it was late and most other restaurants nearby were closed/closing. We had been to one Saltgrass before in North Little Rock but had never returned. Now I remember why. David was efficient, accurate and provided us excellent service. The atmosphere fit a nice steakhouse. However, the bottom line is the food is overpriced and underdelivered. We ordered the cheese fries as an appetizer. While they were more potato cubes than fries, it was well prepared and tasted great. That is where the food quality ended. Together we ordered steak & shrimp, a chicken breast meal, and a chicken sandwich. The filet didn't look like a normal filet cut (noticeably thinner), was overcooked and charred to where it was inedible in places. The best part of that dish was described as the mash potatoes (sad), then the shrimp, then the steak. And this plate was more expensive than places like Longhorn Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse that prepare their steaks much better. Both chicken plates were overdone, dry, and charred to be beyond edible. We didn't finish either plate. And both were overly expensive. Three meals (steak & shrimp, chicken, and chicken) and an appetizer for $100+ with 3x waters had better be a good meal. It wasn't. I'm not sure what we paid for that was so much, but I know we won't be back to find out. read more

At XMAS we ate at the Salt Grass in North Little Rock and it was great so I took my wife out yesterday for Valentine's Day and we ate at the one in Little Rock the service by Ame was good I ordered a 9 oz fielay and my wife ordered a prime rib the order took a matter of minutes and I thought that was not enough time to cook are meal my wife took one bite out of hers and it was all grizal she bought back a 9 oz fielay and it was raw mine wasn't a delay but after sending one back I didn't want to cause a seen I want everyone to know we spent 110 dollars on a meal with tip and I will not recommend them to anyone being senior citizens I feel that they took advantage of us never go back read more

She went above and beyond to bring gluten free bread and check my order. The bread she brought was really soft and was amazing with the honey butter. I don' really wonder why this restaurant has a 3.3 rating on Yelp. I had lunch there today (Thanksgiving). And of course, we went there for Turkey and dressing. The turkey was a deli type turkey that had been sliced and put on the plate. They had clearly not cooked any turkeys for Thanksgiving. The meal came with green bean casserole. This was no real casserole! They put green beans on the plate and poured turkey gravy over them. This so called green bean casserole had never seen an oven! I eat at Saltgrass fairly often. I've never been so disappointed in the food quality before. It's surprising that Landry's would allow one of their companies to serve this type food on a national holiday! read more

We went for the first time to celebrate Mother's Day and it was an amazing experience! Our server Ainsley was an angel. She was so sweet and attentive and even with having to take over another server's section she remained calm and made sure everyone was taken care of. I am definitely requesting to have her as a future server when she is working. It was very busy but the timing of getting our food was still astounding despite the crowd! We were expecting a long wait but weren't even there more than an hour and a half and we were purposely taking our time! The food was amazing and the portions were great! I couldn't even finish my steak because of how much food we had with the bread and appetizer (we got the brisket dip). I had the New York and Grilled shrimp! I ordered a rare and I usually do Medium Rare, it was cooked perfectly but honestly realized it was a bit too rare for me. I asked if they could cook it up a little and they did with no hesitation! I don't even know how to express how grossed out I was while eating at Saltgrass. While eating my salad, I bit down on something very hard. When I pulled it out of my mouth, it was a RED FAKE FINGERNAIL! Sadly it was our servers nail! I do wish I took a picture but I was so taken back and in shock I did not get a photo. However, she was apologetic and the manager came over apologized and comped my order. I didn't even get a steak ‍. Anyways, I don't know much more they could have done to make the situation less disgusting. I will say that it should be policy for no fake nails in a food setting. Or at least wear gloves! I'm so grossed out still! I will never go back and neither will my family that was with me. read more
