It was refreshing, flavorful, and definitely something I'd order again. Even though we waited in line for about 15-20 minutes, it moved steadily, and once we ordered, the service was fast and everyone was very friendly. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the wait, but overall I really enjoyed my visit. The Salty Bottle & Brew was one of our favorite coffee stops of the trip! We ordered an Ahola Latte, the Endless Summer (a blueberry latte topped with strawberry cold foam), and a cortado. We also grabbed three bagel sandwiches. Two of us ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese bagel, which was delicious and exactly what you want in a breakfast sandwich. My other daughter ordered the Maverick and thought it was okay, but said it had a little too much going on flavor-wise. The standout was definitely the Endless Summer. The strawberry cold foam was incredibly thick, creamy, and delicious. It was a huge hit with our group. My cortado was also very good. My only disappointment was that they didn't have plain white sugar or simple syrup available. They only offered brown sugar. The staff was incredibly kind and offered alternatives like vanilla syrup and honey, but sometimes you just want plain sugar. Brown sugar has a distinct flavor that changes the taste of coffee, so I'd love to see a plain sugar option added. The ambiance couldn't be much better. The decor is adorable, and I loved the funky disco balls around the coffee station. There's also a fantastic outdoor seating area that makes it a great place to relax. I also think it's brilliant that the space transforms into a wine bar in the evening--such a smart use of the space. One tip: don't be intimidated by the line outside. When we arrived, the line looked crazy long, but that's mostly because there's very little room inside to wait. The line you see outside is essentially the entire line, plus maybe one or two groups inside. It moved much faster than we expected. The drinks we got included, the shakarato, the salty latte, the beach daze latte with added cold foam, and their matcha special which had lemon blueberry cold foam. Every drink was awesome. During our girls trip, we visited this spot twice. I got the Aloha the first time and the Shakarato the second time we went. I got the aloha lightly sweetened and wish I didn't. It was still good but think I would have liked it more with the regular amount of sweetener. The ice to coffee ratio was perfect. When I got the Shakarato it was filled with ice. I would get it again and ask for light ice. The drink was really good just too much ice. This location has a line in the front when they first open so go a little later if you don't want to wait in a line. It's a very cute store with great customer service. I'm a big fan of Salty. I think they're the best coffee shop in the area tucked away in Carrilion Beach. The staff is always great, kind, friendly. I use their roasted coffee beans at home daily. They're amazing specially for us at home baristas. Their matcha is great as well as their "Locals Only." I like my matcha with coconut cold foam, it's a perfect flavor mix for summer. The Locals Only is my favorite latte. It is great hot or cold. We stopped by for a coffee and had a good experience. Even midday on a Friday, there was a line out the door, so be prepared to wait. The shop is super cute with awesome merchandise. I ordered a 20oz iced Salty latte. The wait was a bit long, but they're pretty busy. The shop is smaller, so it can get crowded easily. They do have nice outdoor seating too. My latte was solid. It was salty and sweet, but not too strong. The coffee at the bottom of the cup was still hot, so I wish they iced it a bit more. We were obsessed with the cups our drinks came in. We walked up to a long line and joined the end. Took about 40 minutes to get through the line to order inside. I ordered a summer special- The Endless Summer which is a blueberry latte with strawberry cold foam and I made mine with oat milk. My friend ordered the Salty Latte. It was well worth the wait.
