They have always gone above and beyond in taking care of my kitty, Freddie. He's lovingly known as Mr. Orange Personality at home and it's always great to hear that his outgoing nature is just as well-loved by the staff at Hydrant. Recently, I adopted a second kitty, Eddie, who's a little more skittish to strangers. I was worried that he might not adjust well to overnight boarding but we couldn't be happier with the experience! The staff, as always, is incredibly kind and attentive - they took the time to learn Eddie's personality and make sure both my kitties felt comfortable and cared for. The boys came home happy and took a cuddly cat nap!

I could be wrong, but it looked to me like the Big Dogs were cavorting on artificial grass... sometimes hot in the summer sun, but both sides had an overhang for shade . LOTS of big dogs. I was told they could have a total of 50 dogs at a time. My dog weighs 10 pounds, I was not able to view that play area through the one small window. I can't imagine leaving my dog someplace where I couldn't see where they would be kept during the day to play, nor were there cameras mentioned do as to watch the dog during the day. I was allowed to see the kennel area, which was appeared aged, dark and smelled heavily of well, dog! They must be doing something right based on the number of dogs! And, to be fair, my neighbor just loves this place. Maybe I missed something. For me, depressing, and dank. Your mileage will hopefully vary.

We brought him in at 13 weeks to the EveryPup Program, where he is in a clean and disinfected facility with other safe and healthy pups and he gets training every day by Dave. Almost from day 1 we started noticing huge changes, and he matured so rapidly it's like we have a different dog! He is very calm, polite and attentive, and has been able to self-regulate so well. Dave is always available for our questions and follow ups, and he sends over progress notes and photos every day from training sessions. We also would ask him about problem behavior such as counter surfing or jumping up on people to greet, and Dave would target those specific behaviors as well. We also appreciated how fast and quickly they acted on our puppy swallowing something he shouldn't have, and immediately gave him some hydrogen peroxide to get him to throw it up, which saved us from extremely expensive and likely traumatic vet visits and possible surgery. Very grateful! Every day we pick up our puppy he is so happy from a day of playing and getting love from all the staff, and is tired and ready for some cuddles and naps when he gets home. The staff here are so caring and really love each dog, I trust them to take care of our puppy. Highly recommend!

Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

I was taking the dogs to Sanders K-9, but after some recent reviews I became uncomfortable taking them there. I started looking around yelp and came across Ruff Life Resort. My husband got in contact with LeNay about pricing and LeNay encouraged us to bring the pups for an evaluation with Andrea. We went and met with Andrea and immediately I fell in love. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. There was no smell and the facility was spotless. It was a huge difference from the last place we went to. Andrea spent over an hour with us evaluating the dogs and talking about how they run their daycare. Andrea explained that they like to take the dogs on 2-3 walks when they are at the daycare full day. Andrea asked us to go on a walk with the dogs so she can evaluate how they are on leash. I really appreciated the thorough evaluation because it made me feel that Andrea cared about our dogs and that every other dog that will be coming into the facility will be appropriate. Andrea told us since they are new they are offering 1st daycare for free so we tried them out and decided to buy a 30 day pass. So for we've taken the dogs 3 times and really appreciate Andrea & Brittany. Andrea texts my husband throughout the day and gives us updates about the dogs. I would HIGHLY recommend Ruff Life for pawrents who need a trustworthy place to drop of their dogs. They also offer grooming and baths at a great price. I can't wait for their hours to extend so we can start dropping them off on the weekends :)

She comes home and sleeps the rest of the evening because she's so tuckered out. It's great socialization for her to play with her kind and great for us that evening at least...it's like a free night for the hubby and me because she just sleeps. haha. Puppies have so much energy! He did love the doggy daycare but when I picked him up from Bone Adventure Boarding where he stayed two nights on Sunday evening my dog was very ill. He got two ear infections, paws red itchy, and bloody. He seemed traumatized and very ill. I took him to the vet and they had put him on antibiotics, they gave him steroids and allergy shots and it's still 16 days after and his paws are not healed and my puppy is getting worse and lots and lots of vet bills. It is worth it to pay for a dog sitter.

After my first encounter with Bark City, one of the owners reached out to me to clarify what happened and told me that he reminded the staff about their reservation policy. After that, I made an appointment and took my dog, Benny, in for a temperament test and he loved it here! The staff gave me a report card of how he did and it made me so proud of him! The report card included the name of his human friend (person who watched him) and the names of the dogs he played with. It also had a short summary of what he did while he was there. The staff here was very patient with Benny and I noticed they took their time bringing him out, making sure he was listening to commands before running back to us when we picked him up. He's going to be such a well-mannered pup if he take him here regularly! Can't wait to take him here for boarding and more doggy playtime! read more

Both my wife Kathy and I cannot say enough nice things about Bark City. Our dog Chloe,a Golden Doodle (still young and playful, always gets the best care there. We board her at Bark City when my wife and I fly to see her Father or Sister, several times a year. We know she is well cared for while she is there and that gives us piece of mind.They always send us updates on her and how she is doing.They send us photos and videos of who she is playing with. Bark City is located close to our home and they have great times during the day to drop your pet off. The staff is courteous and friendly. We've been taking Shadow, our active Australian Sheppard to Bark City for 4 1/2 years now and wouldn't consider trying any other place out. Shadow only goes one day a week, but we consider it her best day of the week. She's super excited knowing that we are on the way there and is happily exhausted when we bring her home. Not once have we felt "they must have been under staffed today." If you are considering a doggy day care definitely give Bark City a try, along with other facilities too, then you will see and understand what I mean. read more

I've had dogs my entire adult life and have had the occasion to board and daycare them many, many times where I live and in several other states. Bark City is -- without a close second -- THE very best such facility I have ever used. The staff, the facilities, the care, and everything that entails, is top-tier. (By the way, my associate, Tucker, agrees with this assessment. The staff at Bark City is so amazing. They made me feel comfortable dropping off my pup for her temperament test and I can tell everyone in that building has a heart for animals. The check-in process was easy and they explained everything in detail so I knew what to expect. Seeing my dog's "welcome" photo on the bulletin board was so cute, and the report card I received via email right after was thorough and informative. The absolutely best place for your dog. The staff is so nice and make everything that your dog is happy. My dog is very shy to human. So I take him to Bark City because there he is also able to play with other dogs and not only with humans and is not only sitting in a kennel. I brought my dog to stay here when I had a family emergency, and there was no one to help with my precious dog. They were so supportive here, and reassured me that my pet would be fed, and well cared for. They sent me pictures of my dog, they let me talk to him on the phone, and we even face timed. My pet was safe and happy when I couldn't be there for him and for that I am really pleased. read more

We were referred to The Hounds Grounds and after a few sessions, you could really see him change, we purchased a package and just finished today. He is a completely different dog. We can walk him with confidence and actually enjoy it. He even learned a few extra tricks as well. You can really tell that Brandi gets dogs and loves what she does. 10/10 recommend her!

Stephanie greets us at the door with hugs and smiles. They keep the entire place impeccably clean at all times. Mellow is a regular at Daycare and we have left him for overnight boarding when we were out of town. Any questions or concerns I have had were promptly attended to. Prices are reasonable, staff turnover is low, webcam available if you want to watch your pup. Thank you for providing a safe and happy space for my pup!

I was needing guidance on walking my very "active" dog who loves to pull on the leash and say "Hi" (bark) at all who comes his way. Now he has learned to walk by my side and I have learned how to use the "positive interupter" skill to avoid barking confrontations. I highly reccomend Linda as she was nonjudgmental, knowledgable and she made the training fun!

So we searched and searched for help everywhere. Yo and her team were a blessing to find. Yo sat down with us for an hour and went over everything. We are so incredibly grateful that Canine Academy is here for us and we are always in good hands. If you are thinking of having them train your dog please please just do it. You will have the best trained dog ever! We also receive pictures and video of Ludo everyday! We picked the train and board for a week, we had a new dog! We also picked the 6 month puppy school after that, now we have a perfect dog!

The set up for self dog wash is incredibly cute. Everyone greeted me the first time Kealoha and I walked in there and we are greeted every time we've been back. Their wash tubs, soaps, ear cleaners, and face wash, supply is wonderful!! They also have specialized shampoos too if your doggo(s) needs that. My absolute favorite thing about this place is their dryers. Dirty Dog Wash has the strongest dryers I've ever used in a doggy wash and I absolutely love the conditioning products they offer. Ive also never had to groom my golden but I've seen them groom dogs there and they make them look incredible!! I would definitely trust this shop and team if I wanted to get Kealoha groomed. Overall this is my new favorite dog wash shop!!
