    Sausage meatball angel hair

Great New Spot on Clements Ferry! We tried Salute for takeout and were really impressed! It's a new addition to Clements Ferry Road, so we wanted to give it a shot -- and they delivered (literally and figuratively). We ordered the Drunken Chicken, which is a fun play on words since it comes with vodka sauce, penne, and a perfectly crispy chicken cutlet. The portion size was generous, the chicken was fresh and crunchy, and the sauce was plentiful -- which I absolutely loved. I'm a "make it saucy" person, and they nailed it. Everything was wrapped in foil, and despite a 20-minute drive home, all the food was still piping hot. Huge win. We also tried the sausage meatball spaghetti (we subbed in angel hair), and my husband said the all-beef meatball was probably the best he's had at any restaurant around here. Another great portion size and great flavor. Overall, Salute made a fantastic first impression. Everything was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully packed. We're definitely looking forward to trying more dishes!

Everything was delicious. From the service, to the delicious food, to the ambience. My family came here to celebrate my brother's graduation. It was delicious. Our food came out super quick, our waitress Sutton was accommodating and attentive, and seriously compliments to the chef Kenny!!! Definitely will come back again.

Walked in got a table. Our server was quick to get us drinks. Very friendly. The food was hot and delicious. Need some Italian music. It is very difficult to read the small letters on the building sign. Took me several times passing by to figure out what the business was. I will return. Great job.

Very nice remodel. Floor is slippery and place is small but feels cozy whether at a table or the bar. Food was good but menu should have the same items for the happy hour menu as the other location. Workers seem very attentive and eager to help. Gets crowded for sit down so keep an eye on when you should go if you want a table. Consistent wait for tables but all employees are very friendly.

Had an excellent meal at Salute off Clements Ferry Road in Mount Pleasant. We ordered takeout, it was ready in 20 minutes nice and hot. Will be going back for the Chicken Marsala as we heard it's excellent. Only a few tables and bar seating but take out was quick and easy.

I usually have pretty good luck here. Just ordered two meatball subs to go. This is more like two half meatball subs. It's a full cut in half

Whoa!! New Italian single family owned restaurant just opened on Clements ferry Road in Wando. Unbelievably good food and reasonably priced. I think the pasta is homemade and they have a very reasonably priced imported wine menu. The bread service comes with garlic cloves in the olive oil. I had the stuffed rigatoni with chicken and my spouse had a northern Italian salmon dish. I'd suggest getting here before it gets too popular because they just opened three weeks ago.

This has been on my list for a while and I'll surely come back!…read more I started with the focaccia which was warm, airy and paired perfectly with the pimento forward olive tapenade and whipped ricotta. Enough for 3 people to have a sizable piece. If you're looking for an indulgent, knock your socks off pasta, GET THE TRUFFLE SPAGHETTI! It is completely worth the price and enough for 2 people to split to feel better about the spend. The lumache Nero had a solid kick to it and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. For dessert, we chose the olive oil cake and tiramisu. I'd definitely order the cake again especially to taste that lemon curd again! The interior is dimly lit, great for a date night or special occasion. There's an open kitchen so you can watch the food being cooked along with a large bar. Service was fantastic and welcoming from start to finish.

Hostess was super friendly and then our waiter came by. Wish I could remember his name but he was excellent. Like can we be actual friends in real life!? Placed a drink order (my new bestie said the strawberry drink I was eyeballing was excellent- and boy was he right). We settled on sharing a breakfast pie and sandwich. That pizza could have been destroyed in one sitting. SO good. Sandwich was also delicious and the side salad and potato's made it perfect. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Would absolutely recommend and visit again. Thank you friends!

Stopped in on a really hot day…read more I opted for the pepperoni pizza because it's supposed to be made in a brick fire oven. Taleggio was recommended to the party sitting next to us, but they had them add sausage, which I wish I had done, but I didn't know about it until my order was already put in. With that said, the pepperoni pizza was definitely a four out of five. The only thing that would have made it a five out of five was a little bit more moisture to the crust or some type of garlic butter to it. The flavor was really good on the pepperoni. The crust was nice and chewy as far as the underneath. 4/5 Before I tasted it, when the waitstaff, who wasn't our waiter, ended up bringing the pizza to us, they asked if we needed anything. We asked for a sauce. I asked them what sauces they had. They gave us a couple of options. I picked two sauces, but unbeknownst to me, those sauces were dips, and the dips were $3 each. The young lady did not tell us that, unfortunately. One of the sauces was a garlic sauce, and the other thing was the restaurant's rendition of ranch. Both were rather bland. I'd have to give them a 2 out of 5. They weren't nasty, but they lacked flavor. My wife ordered this shishuka, which would be the eggs, and she thoroughly enjoyed it. She gave it a four out of five. I tasted it. The eggs were bland to me. I would give it a three out of five based on the two forkfuls that I had, but the waitstaff was amazing. I definitely want to go back to try their brunch and to try that other pizza without the extra sauces.
