Great food! Is you love the different types of red meats, this is your place. The fries are also delicious. Exquisite ambience.

This is my second time here and the food was just as great as the first time. The salad was fresh and delicious and the beef kebab is a must. However we were very disappointed with the service - we had to flag down the waitresses several times and we were even ignored a few times which was very surprising. It took a very long time for the waitress to greet our table and take our orders and even to bring us the check (over twenty minutes).

We ordered through uber eats and the food is a big disappointment for almost $75 (We also order sea bass kebab platter--which is a hard pass). All were soggy and just sad to look at. Probably no next time for this place. Price and food is definitely not worth it.

Great tasty and healthy food great and fast service meter street parking for resonable prices

DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH. Tables weren't properly spaced apart, no plastic boarders were up between tables, and worst of all waiters were not wearing masks. Absolutely horrible and will not come back.

Ordered: Mint Lemonade (~$9)…read moreHummus (~$12) Baba Ganouj (~$12) Grilled Eggplant (~$12) 5pc Falafel (~$12) Tabouleh (~$12) Fatoush (~$12) Grape Leaves (~$12) Zikrayat Mix Grill (~$35): with chicken kebab, beef kebab, lamb kofta and lamb chops with rice, grilled tomato & pepper, spiced bread, and yogurt sauce Aya's take: Zikrayat recently rebranded and changed managers, so I found myself back here for a family dinner. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share and Mix Grill entrees for our party of 7. I would say it's a pretty simple and standard order. No deviations, substitutions, or anything out of the ordinary. Despite that, our drinks took ~20 minutes, the appetizers took 30+ minutes, and our entrees 30+ minutes after that. The Mint Lemonade was so small and tasted artificial. For ~$9, I expect more. The only appetizers worth trying are the Hummus Baba Ganouj, and Falafel. Everything else sadly missed the mark. The Fatoush & Tabouleh were promising but pretty sad. It lacked dressing (lemon and olive oil), flavor, and there were way too many unnecessary lettuce leaves on or around the bowl. I did enjoy the Zikrayat Mix Grill. The meats were tender, well-seasoned, and juicy, the rice was light and fragrant, and it was filling. I found the appetizers to be overpriced and along with the extremely slow service, I didn't leave feeling like it was worth it. I don't think I'll be back.

Delicious Palestinian food! This was my first time at this restaurant and I was not disappointed!…read moreThe staff is very kind, the place is very cute, and the food is great! Not to mention that you get a lot of food! My friend and I started off with the hummus, which was accompanied with some pita. I have no complaints- it was delicious! I would love to try the red pepper one next time! My friend ordered the watermelon salad for lunch which looked absolutely delicious as you can see in the pictures- the perfect dish for a hot summer day. I ordered the mixed platter that came with a salad, rice, different kinds of meats. I loved that I got to try a variety- I honestly couldn't pick a favorite because I enjoyed all of it. My dish was so big that I even had leftovers for dinner and lunch the next day. If you're looking for somewhere to eat in Astoria I definitely recommend this restaurant! My only complaint is that it was hot inside the restaurant. Not sure if their HVAC wasn't working that day but the warmth was not pleasant on a summer hot day.

Came back for Friday lunch and it was empty besides a table so no worries about not being able to…read moremake a reservation. The pita was much more soft and pillows this time around, comparable to Al Badawi. However, the food was still relatively bland. Two of us shared the hot appetizer platter which does have a couple of 'cold ones like rice stuffed grape leaves. Falafel is on the crispier end for my liking, but overall, the platter is not bad when paired with the garlic sauce. I got the mansaf which I liked so much from Al Badawi. While the lamb was similarly tender, it made me wonder whether this was as bland at Al Badawi as well. The rice was much more watery and flavorless in comparison too. I think I'm willing to give this place one more try, perhaps a ouzi, before calling it quits. I did enjoy the hibiscus mocktail, refreshing and nicely sweet.

It's a smallish space, with about 8 tables. They have a cooler by the door for soft drinks, and by the cash register they have the traditional spiced sweet hot tea.. that's complimentary as well. They had one attentive and busy server, who took the time to speak to the patrons and make everyone feel welcome. They cover the tables with b plastic, and switch it after every seating. The salad is basic with some cumin and saffron. The lamb bone broth is very flavorful. It's rich, very cummin-y. Absolutely delicious. The bread is fresh and home made. The saltah is a thick veggie stew that comes bubbling in a crock. So flavorful. Get the fennel slurry on top! The lamb dish was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It was not gamey and was nicely spiced. Their homemade hot sauce was not spicy, but was flavorful. We also got this date and clotted cream. It was very dense, and not terribly sweet. It felt like something I'd want with an afternoon tea, as a pick me up, more than a dessert. I will be back.
