I'm on the quest for best local chain pizza. So far this is the one to beat. I bet you wonder if it's so stinkin' great why didn't you give it a 5? I'd love to tell you-THE SERVICE. I went in for pick up and if the pizza didn't excite my taste buds like it did-I would NEVER come back. It was Wednesdays, I know they have specials in calzones on Wednesdays because I was telling my friend about my BAD experience and he told me this. When I walked in at 4:40 right exactly how long I was told my pizza would take there was one counter person taking a large calzone order-over 10. Then she's repeating it, then she decides to write it down asks me to wait. My pizza is done-it's sitting there getting cold. I'm the money standing in front of you. Sure thing lady I'll wait for you to get your life together. I'm taking this pizza to Dansville so every minute counts for this pizza to stay warm. But you worry about that calzone order. I decided not to tip her. Hope that calzone order knows how to tip... Why is only one person working the counter??? I checked my pizza and it looked good. Tons of pepperoni. They asked when I ordered if I wanted cup and char or regular pepperoni. Yes. I actually asked for half on each side. There was an extraordinary amount of pepperoni.,I like it. But it was a lot! Miraculously, my pizza was still warm when I got it to Dansville-heated seats help! It was EFFIN' FANTASTIC. If this pizza was slightly above even mildly mediocre, I would never go back because of the service-it absolutely turned me off. I'm going to give it another chance. We will see... read more

I am a loyal Salvatore's customer, however, this location is awful. From the rude staff, to the indifferent, unapologetic owner. We preordered a pizza the night before for a kids birthday party. 15 minutes past the time it was supposed to arrive, I called the store only to be accused of ordering the pizza 10 minutes earlier, then when I gave the info, he simply said "out for delivery". Pizza arrived 30 minutes late, with partially burnt crust. Not past the point of feeding the people, but discerning considering it was late. Whatever, things happen, people needed to eat. Wife calls the store later in the afternoon to alert the staff of how late the food was and to see if they'd offer an apology or offer any coupons for future use. Nope, she got a "we only have so many ovens" comment and told to email the owner if she had further complaints. I was ready to drop the issue prior to the call, but now I'm annoyed. I emailed the owner expressing the concerns and stated that I wasn't looking for a refund, but an apology and if he chooses to run his store this way where staff are rude to customers, I'd take my business elsewhere. His reply: "I'm doing the best I can with the people that I can hire. If you want to boycott me for that then so be it." No apology, nothing. Someone simply could've said "sorry" and we'd be satisfied. But nope. The owner is rude. The staff is rude. Their version of Salvatore's pizza is bad. I won't go back, and I'll make sure to note the store owner before patronizing a Salvatore's again. This one clearly isn't customer focused. Will my boycott hurt their bottom line? Of course not. Disappointment and lack of customer service training we visit this establishment 2 to 3 times a month and this was for a small birthday dinner. We went in and seated ourselves, after 20 mins we had not been acknowledged, I went and asked about it. The young lady at the register asked," The bartender did not take your order" I said, no, she took our order. We go back and that bartender, still ignores us a female on duty. Then a woman comes and apologies to us, for our order not being taken. The bartender comes and acknowledges the couple behind us and apologizes for taking so long. She never said a word to us. Then the young girl comes and tells us 30 mins later," I am so sorry they are so busy back there, they forgot to out your pizza in the oven" I hate to say this, however I feel this was racist, as we were the only brown skinned people in there, and everyone after us got their order and acknowledged, I will never go there again!! read more

I have been a diehard Salvatore's pizza lover, but lately their crust has been lacking. Lacking dough. So thin that any amount of toppings fall off and they cook it to a crisp. May have to find a new pizza joint. read more

Gluten free people need something edible too. Time to update the cardboard to a real pizza, please. Even Schar pizza crust from Wegmans is better than what you have. read more

Truthfully I love their pizza (I always get the thin thin crust) and their mozzarella sticks are fantastic but the reason this review does not have four or five stars is because I find the food to be over priced. Service has always been excellent and I love it when they have live music read more

I am recovering from a cold and stomach bug and absolutely hungry. I was going to order delivery since I'm not up to going out or cooking for myself. I was going to order delivery from Salvatore's, which used to be one of my favorites. On check out I noticed a ridiculous $12.50 "delivery convenience fee". $12.50!!!!!! I am a huge Salvatore's fan, and always will be, I have ordered a few pizzas from here in the last few weeks, all of them have been amazing quality, I order online and am told 20-30 minutes, I arrive 20 minutes later and it's already done, when I was expecting to wait a few minutes, it's super fresh, from what I've seen the employees are always super nice, and quick to help, and the interior is super well cleaned, not a single spec of dirt or dust that i saw, and the outside has parking for those with Purple Hearts, Veteran, Expecting mothers or mothers with small children, and handicapped, you don't see many places with all of those at once, so major props to the owner of this place, I will definitely be ordering from here again read more

I was so happy when they announced a new location right down the road from me!! But would it be they same great service, food and drinks that I'm used to in Scottsville??? No worries it is!!! Management did a great job to make sure of it! Food is consistent, from delicious boneless wings, thin thin pizza to reg pizza... every bite is amazing! Beer on tap is cold and fresh... I recommend their Jack Abbey...yyuuummm Staff is so friendly and engaging. Also, love when the magic guy is there, so much fun! Bit pricey for a pepperoni pizza BUT I hate crust not cooked through. The thin crust was cooked through, crispy and very good. We've had to try 3other places recently and the translucent uncooked crust was simply off putting! Nothing worse in my humble opinion! read more

WORST - Customer service EVER. I ordered this pizza along with well done wings on Mothers Day the wings were soggy but at least cooked- the pizza was raw! I have been going back and forth with the owner now since Monday- Who is refusing to refund me and asking for more pictures "of the bottom". BE WARE you better eat that pizza cooked or uncooked because this place surely doesn't care what it serves to its customers- The owner states that the veggies will do that to the pizza YEA OK.... Order was called ahead one week in advance at the saloon location. Two of the three pizza's ordered were not made correctly. Employees were rude, especially the bartenders. I sat at bar waiting for new pizza's to be made correctly, I was quietly venting to the person with me, and the bartender told me she has every right to kick me out of the bar if I had a problem. EXCUSE me, I wasn't talking to you, and I was not making a scene. She then started to talk about me with other customers sitting at the bar, what kind of unprofessional establishment is this. It's not a blue cheese base; it's too sweet and disgusting. The pizza was undercooked, hence why I asked to throw it back into the oven! I was in town visiting my dad and decided to pick up a pizza. I called this location to order a large pepperoni pizza which somehow was $25+. ??? For a large one topping pizza?? I asked why and was told it was 16". We'll that's the size of typical large pizzas everywhere that are closer to $15-$17. I had no idea this place was here and I know it's pretty new. I was delighted to find out about it and it's gorgeous on the inside!! The bar area has a lot of wood and it's pretty and homey and inviting. Our bartender Caitlyn was very attentive and fun. I have to say that the pizza we got here was the best Salvatore's pizza I've ever had and I LOVE Salvatore's pizza! I don't know if it was the brand new ovens or the special tray they serve their pizzas on, but damn! I'm impressed with this location. I had taken my daughters here two Saturdays before and our order was forgot. I've worked in restaurants for well over 2 decades so I get it things happen. I was annoyed by how they had acted like it wasn't a big deal as my Daughters were getting upset. But then tonight I ordered a pizza and stopped to pick it up and the service was unacceptable. I stood there for 15 minutes waiting as the Bartender had looked at me three times while no one had even come up to me an kept talking to and drinking with her bar guest(yeah that's gotta be on camera), when she came over she acted like I should be happy I got to wait there as my pizza was cooling off. $25 for a large pep is a bit much but the pizza isn't bad, but really there's pizza that is as good and cheaper and won't get treated as an inconvenience I will never be giving money to Salvatore's ever again. Ordered the Sicilian Calamari We get it all the time from the Brockport location and it fantastic. This was subpar at best. It was not hot. I know the peppers, olives etc. are cold but the calamari itself should be hot. The meat did not have a lot of flavor. you usually receive both rings and tentacles but this was only rings. (yes I know its the preferred meat but I like both.) Also I had to ask for some marinara sauce and they charged me a dollar for something that is normally served with it. hopefully this is a one time fluke and not a change the company made. Used the online ordering. Ordered pizza, salad, and a cider. When I arrived to pick up, the store didn't have cider. They didn't have the license to sell alcohol to go. I asked why it was on the online ordering form. They said all locations use the form. Wish they would individually have order forms because I was disappointed. read more
