I had scheduled gel x with Sam and pedicure with Trini. This was my first time in a long time going to a nail salon. The check in process went smoothly. You check in on a tablet and I was seated almost immediately. The customer service was great. Sam ate down on my nail design. I'm glad I chose this nail salon for my birthday set. They take all forms of payment but prefer cash, just a heads up! I will be back again.

I have been coming to Sam Nail Bar since the beginning of this year after my coworker recommended Dan & Sam to me as I was looking for an alternative to gel-x. I like how they offer poly gel since I feel like not as many places that I know offer it at a reasonable price AND do amazing designs as well (it can be hard to find a place that does both ). They are also open every day now and are usually easy to book an appointment with and super accommodating. Everyone is friendly as well and makes sure to include you in the design/color process the whole time!

I came here to get a soak off for acrylic nails and Tiffanny was my nail tech. I called beforehand to see it they were available and they were able to take me in! She was working on a customer and asked me to wait which I didnt mind. I ended up waiting for maybe 20 minutes but was still provided with excellent service. Later on, I believe the owner Sam told me thank you for waiting and gave me a discount which was really nice! I would definitely recommend to come here and get your nails done. I 've been coming to this salon for several months now and they never disappoint. The shop is run by a wonderful couple who are both incredibly talented and welcoming. Every time I come in, they take their time and really pay attention to the details. They are very talented with any nail art you might want. I can't say enough good things about this nail salon. The owners, Sam and Dan, are wonderful, and honestly every nail tech here is kind, welcoming, and gives off such good energy. You can really feel that they care about their clients and the environment they've created. I'm pretty picky when it comes to nail art style and I hate spending too much time at the salon but Dan has completely changed that for me. He makes every appointment enjoyable, and I actually look forward to getting my nails done now. He always kills it on the designs I ask for, gives thoughtful input when I ask for advice, and works super efficiently without the service ever feeling rushed. My nails last so well too!! It lasts almost five weeks and even then, the worst I'll get is a tiny chip on the sides (which is mostly my fault because I'm really rough with my hands). The quality and attention to detail really speak for themselves. Overall, I highly recommend this nail salon if you're looking for talented artists that are up to date with trends, great vibes, and long-lasting nails.

I've been to this salon before and had a great experience with Dustin, who was professional and clearly experienced. This review is specifically about my experience today with Bonnie, and not the salon overall. I asked for a simple builder gel refill with plain white polish. From the start, she didn't really engage and checked her phone frequently, which felt like her attention was elsewhere and very unprofessional since I had no designs for reference. I also overheard her speaking in Vietnamese multiple times about being hungry and saying she might faint. That may have been an exaggeration, but it gave me the impression she was rushing through my set so she could go eat. I understand being a walk-in, but I still expect the same level of care as a scheduled appointment. It was also uncomfortable hearing her talk about the situation in another language while I was sitting right there. When I politely asked her to fix a small area with missing polish, she rolled her eyes and complained to her coworker instead of just explaining that she would be filing over that area anyways. There was also no cuticle care at all (cutting or oiling), and she left polish on my skin that I had to scrape off myself, which should be cleaned up before curing to avoid irritation. After leaving, I noticed bumps in my nails and a streaky topcoat with visible gaps. For such a simple set, the quality was disappointing. It felt rushed and careless. My cousin also had Bonnie previously and had a similar experience, including being hurt during filing. I really liked this salon the first time I came, but this visit was disappointing.

The overall vibe is great, everyone is super nice and kind. They did their best to replicate the inspo pic and did a pretty good job replicating it. If I had the time, I would have fixed a few things on my nails but I would definitely come back again. *Update, they reached out and were able to fix everything with no problem Everyone was so sweet there I can't wait to go back for my next set

First time at Sam's and I couldn't be happier! I drew what I wanted on a piece of paper and showed a picture of it to Dustin, and he completed everything within an hour. The design doesn't look all that complicated, but Dustin has such great attention to details for the fine line work and color choices, which makes his work that much more impressive. I really love my nails. I never found a good nail salon until now. Sam's nail bar helped me decide on the shape and if gel x or acrylic is better. I was a little rushed with the choosing the color since I came in with no inspo or color in mind and they were booked all day. It was my first time doing the "airbrush" ombré which turned out beautiful. I love my nails and the nail sets are pretty affordable. I will definitely be back again. Sam has been doing my sets for a while now and each time, it's better than the last. He truly cares about the quality of his work and values all his clients' opinions/feedback. I recently came in for a spooky October set. I showed him the inspo photo, but he always goes above and beyond to achieve my true taste, which I absolutely appreciate. His prices are reasonable, even though he just opened his own salon alongside Dan. You're sure to get your moneys worth and enjoy your time while getting any service done. There's plenty of parking in the plaza and the salon is easy to spot. Both owners are very personable and kind. Recently I took my friends to Sam Nail Bar to get our nail done for a wedding and they such an amazing job. Sam and Dan are super talented when it comes to doing nails, we told them what we wanted and they worked their magic giving us these beautiful set of nails. They are super professional, friendly, and accommodating paying attention to all the little details making sure you walk away with a gorgeous set of nails that last. I love Sam! He is so kind when communicating both over DM and in person. He makes you feel comfortable and finds things common to talk about. His work is so meticulous and he cares deeply on your satisfaction. The salon itself is clean, decorated aesthetically, and they play KPOP in the background, which I personally love. However, during my pedicure, they switched nail techs midway, and the quality dropped significantly after that. It also seems like the owner is rarely present and leaves an older lady (who I later found out is her aunt) in charge, and she pretty much does whatever she wants. I reached out to the owner to politely share my experience, but instead of addressing it, she blocked me. I only realized this when I tried to book another appointment with Kelsey. Really disappointing customer service. Even if you find a nail tech you like, it seems like booking and management can be an issue. I'd recommend going somewhere else if you're looking for a more professional and consistent experience.

I do not think they keep track of appointments and, if they do, I simply cannot imagine how. I have tried texting and the response I get every time is "ok", even if I ask a question in my appointment request. I've tried making an appointment online and the appointment slots are always available and open, which can't be true. While in the salon, I've seen them answer the phone when someone calls to make an appointment, they are always on speakerphone, and I have never seen anyone write anything down after the phone call, they say ok and then just continue to work. Out of the 5 or 6 times I've been here I have only been seen at the time of my appointment once. Once! I am often waiting 30-45 mins and I stay because I have a very tight schedule and make appointments on the only days I can. I'm currently sitting waiting for my 5:00 appointment and it is 5:40 and there are 5 others also waiting, though I don't know what time their appointments are or were. (At 5:06 my manicurist asked me to wait 15 mins and I said fine....but I ended up leaving at 5:45 because she was doing someone's pedicure.) I have always been happy with the services I've received here and their prices are reasonable, which are the reasons for the 2 stars, but I simply will not be back due to their constant lack of respect of "appointment times".

I was a first-time customer at Sam Nail Bar today and felt compelled to leave this review after witnessing a very unfair situation. I was at the back of the salon while my friend was at the very first table, and she could literally hear everything from start to finish. The salon was extremely busy. In fact, I had to be flexible and come in later than my original time just to help them manage their tight schedule. When the customer who left the 1-star review walked in, the staff explicitly told her they only had a gap for a gel pedicure. My friend at the front heard this clearly, and I heard the same from the back. Later, when she demanded acrylics and builder gel, the staff simply couldn't do it because they were fully booked. They were professional and remained polite despite the pressure. To claim "if you aren't Asian or white they won't treat you good." just because a busy business can't break their schedule for a walk-in is completely false and damaging. This salon treats everyone with respect and they value their clients' time. Please don't let one misleading review overshadow the hard work and honesty of this team! Even my teenage son noticed the difference when I showed him my new nail set. These are his exact words: "Wow! Mom. This new place compares to your old place is like instant noodles versus a ramen shop." I personally think that is the highest compliment one can get from a kid's perspective.
