I choose Same Day because I needed help quickly and I saw that they had excellent reviews. I called them at 11:30am and the tech came out at 2:15pm. His name was Angel, and he was very pleasant and professional. He gave me two options: a band-aid to fix the problem at hand or a full refresh of all the parts and installing an additional spring. I said "yes" to the refresh. While it might have been a lot less expensive to do it ourselves, who has time for that and I preferred a pro. I don't know how they have so many good reviews. I had them come out because my garage door wasn't working and the guy that came out told me I needed the belt, bearing rollers, new springs and more totally over $1000.00. So, I decided to get another quote. I called On Track. Steve came out and told me that all I needed was a belt and it has a life time warranty. He got me all the information on the belt to call Manufacturer and now I just have to pay installation. He said I still had life in the springs and just need to adjust but didn't recommend I replace them. I was so mad because it was evident that Same Day Garage was up selling me, my guess their people work on commission. Before hiring Same Day Garage, do your research! My garage door was getting progressively more jerky on open/closing and I was concerned it was the springs. My springs are fine, thankfully, and Josh explained exactly what was causing the jerking and how he planned to fix it. I Contacted Same Day Garage Door Services, because one of our garage door springs had broken, we called that evening and they were able to send a technician out to our residence the next morning. Albert arrived promptly at 8am, did a quick inspection of our garage door and components. He recommend and explained some additional items that would make our door run smoother and last longer. I agreed, plus pricing was reasonable. He went ahead and replaced our springs, rollers, both bearings and installed a garage door reinforcement bracket, all warrantied.. plus he adjusted a couple of things that needed adjustments!! This is the second time I have used Same Day Garage Door Services. What a pleasure to work with a reputable, honest company that does it right. The woman who answered the phone was courteous, friendly and made an appointment for the same day. The repairman, Matt, arrived on time, was professional and had my door operating in no time, all for the $69 service call. He thoroughly explained the problem and how he fixed it. While he was there, he lubed and inspected the system. I especially appreciated his honesty. THE REST OF THE STORY: My home home warranty company had sent a garage door repair company the day before. The repairman presented me with two options, one for $995 just to get the door to operate and one for $1700 to "do it the right way." My BS meter was flashing WARNING, WARNING. When I told him I did not think the bid sounded correct and was going to call the home warranty company in the a.m, he left. A few minutes later he returned and said he spoke with his boss and they were willing to knock off $210, but only if I did the repairs right then. I said no thanks. He then said he didn't think his boss would give me the discount if I didn't have the repair done at that time. Sheisters! BTW, that company's Yelp reviews are awful. read more

Trevor came out today after I contacted the company late the day before. They were my original installers for my door opener and track repair. Trevor was amazing, took my concern seriously, and saw that my door opener was not working with the pad or remotes correctly. They were able to swap it out for a newer model, and while he was waiting on the new unit, he tightened up my track and re-lubed the wheels. Everything was still under warranty, so there was no charge to me. I would highly recommend this company and Trevor.
