I had an 'Excessive Downward Force' error on one of my two 8500W jackshaft openers recently and wanted someone to look at it. My doors have not been inspected in about 4 years (10,000 / 14,000 cycles). I called at 3:30 on a Friday and Albert arrived about 4:15. Crazy fast service. Albert was impressive. I cannot say enough positive things. Punctual, polite, thorough, and skilled. He explained everything he was doing while he was doing it, ended up tuning, and lubricating both doors and adjusting the rails. They both operate smoother now. He also informed me of app features and an additional feature from the wall mounted controller. I will need a new bearing in a year or so and will be calling Same Day for the service. Basically the garage door opener was inoperative. Called at 7:30 for an appointment and they said the technician would be there between 10AM and Noon. Jeff called in advance and arrived just before 10:00 AM. We explained the problem, Jeff said he would do a complete inspection and tell us what he found. His inspection suggested a control module was defective and we authorized the replacement. Fortunately the module was all that was needed and after it was installed the door worked as it should. They had a special where they waived the service call fee when they performed an repairs. The total cost of the repair was extremely reasonable. Jeff was fast and efficient. Michael came out the next day earlier than originally scheduled (which was a blessing). We couldn't get out of our garage; the door spring snapped in half. I ended up upgrading the motor to the 3/4 HP (since I had insulated my garage door and it was a little bit heavier than what it was when we first moved in 6 years ago. Michael installed upgraded springs (30K cycles vs the 10K cycle ones I had which didn't last as advertised). He also upgraded the rollers. I just love our new Lift Master motor with technology bells and whistles that I can now control with my cell phone.
