In April of this year I booked an RV through "The RV Lifestyle" for a trip to begin in late June,…read morepaying in full, in advance, by credit card over the phone. The first sign something was wrong was that I did not receive a receipt listing the details of the RV I had reserved. I did receive a three-line receipt from a place called "Mini Mountain Campground" that said nothing about an RV rental. When I inquired with "The RV Lifestyle", they emailed me saying they were "merging rental softwares" between the two places and couldn't give me a correct receipt. I gave them the benefit of the doubt -- big mistake. On a Friday afternoon in June, two weeks before the trip was scheduled to start, I received an email from "The RV Lifestyle" saying "We have cancelled your upcoming RV rental reservation per your request." I had never cancelled the rental, and we had family coming from around the country to take part in this RV trip. There was also no mention anywhere of a refund... and they had more than $1,500 of my money. Alarmed, I called the phone number listed for "The RV Lifestyle" in the email, minutes after receiving the email. The man who answered the phone told me that he didn't know anything about it, because he "didn't have access to the system" and would call me back on Monday. That seemed strange because they had just sent me the email minutes beforehand. I also called "Mini Mountain Campground" asking them what was going on. They told me that "The RV Lifestyle" rented out the RVs and that "Mini Mountain Campground" served as the pickup spot. They said they didn't know what was going on but would call me back with more information. After that Friday, no one from "The RV Lifestyle" or "Mini Mountain Campground" ever returned my calls, issued a refund, emailed or contacted me despite multiple attempts by me. Again, I had paid in full, in advance, more than $1,500, and they did not refund me. I was left in the lurch and had to secure another RV rental just two weeks before the July 4th holiday. Thankfully I was able to issue a chargeback on my credit card and received the full amount back from the credit card company. After the fact, I did some research and "The RV Lifestyle" is listed on Yelp as being the same address as "S&H Campground" in Greenfield, IN, with similar "About Us" stories. The reviews for "S&H Campground" are quite alarming, as are the BBB Complaints. There are also some very concerning reviews for "Mini Mountain Campground." Do your research before booking with this company/group of companies. If you're wondering what a better place to rent from is, ultimately my family went with Cruise America which I would highly recommend for their professionalism and accountability.

We purchased a brand new motorhome from this location. Purchased the "Let's Go Camping" package…read morethat boasts the benefit of a detailed walkaround and predelivery inspection. The walkaround was done by someone who did not know how to answer any of our questions, and the inspection missed the fridge that didn't work at all, the house batteries that don't hold a charge, and some damage to a bunk house door that was promised replaced on a We Owe, but we still haven't received almost 2 months later. We returned to have the fridge replaced the following week, which they did do after an 8 hour wait. They did not figure out what was wrong with the house batteries. Later that day, we discovered that they had damaged the floor replacing the fridge, and the entry door now squeaks and rattles ( I assume they removed it to get the fridge in and out and did not replace it correctly). Shortly after, the fridge started rattling, and I had to replace screws that literally just fell out of the fridge mount. We also were told that we had to register the motorhome ourselves in Illinois after receiving something from them that we have not yet received. Our temporary tag is now almost 2 weeks expired, and we're waiting on a reply on what we should be doing to make it legal to drive. Our salesperson, Noah actually did a great job communicating through the process. I'd recommend him to others. Unfortunately, the issues we've had are outside of his control, so I would not recommend the location. We've actually had quite a few more little issues so far that I might detail later.

Ms. Lynn assessed the problem changed the tank and re-routed some plumbing so the drain goes straight into the main dump line and everything works correctly now. Highly recommend!!
