On moving day, the movers arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule and were very thorough and efficient. Any question I had Russell and his partner (forgot his name) were quick to help out and made things easy for me so I could focus on other things. Once they got to my new place, they were even more efficient with getting everything in (including reassembling my bed frame and sofa). They were absolute professionals from start to finish. I offered to buy them lunch, but they kindly declined and said they preferred to make a quick stop on the way. They arrived on time and worked hard at getting the job done as quickly as possible. The only issue I had was that they were sent a truck that was too small to accommodate all of our possessions, and we were left to actually move our barbecue grill, treadmill, and a refrigerator to our new location on our own. Leland told me to buy U-haul boxes as those hold up better. I bought lots of small boxes so I could move some of them to the storage locker before move day. I then lived in AirBnBs for a short time until I bought my next place. Then I hired Leland and team again. Because I packed up in small boxes, I was able to move some boxes myself and unpack before the big official move in date. That did reduce my cost on move #2. Nothing was damaged. I hope I don't have to move anytime soon. But I would hire Washington Movers again.
