Best pizza in town with excellent service to boot! We are regulars here. It is rare that you won't see Samee himself doing everything from greeting customers to cooking food to bussing tables. Great hometown restaurant with hard working, friendly staff. The creamy jalapeño soup on Thursdays and poblano soup on Fridays is worth the trip alone! Never tried anything on the menu that wasn't amazing and the kids love the conversation cards (one the table) and pizza dough too. Family friendly place for sure. read more

I really wanted to like this place. Ordered to go, staying in a hotel, told 25 minutes till it was ready. Turned out to be 40, ok, it was crowded, I'll be patient. I almost gave in to five guys, but my sweet family decided to let us try it..... I'll start with what my son said... Before we prayed for our meal... He snuck a bite.....He said, "if there is a pizza in Heaven, it would taste like this".... My little girl said "It would be better in Heaven"... He said I don't know if it could "Ha... party of 2 visited the restaurant at 8:30 pm sat night hoping to be in and out for a movie nearby on a tight schedule and had no trouble,. very active and steady crowd kept everyone busy. an adorable child near us wanted to join the fun in the kitchen she was observing, we were tickled. Chicken Angelica was as succulent as I had expected from other patrons, well flavored potatoes, vegetable slightly overcooked- however the dinner salad had made up for it. Spaghetti and meat sauce a big home run. Server reminded herself aloud she had forgotten the bread and was bringing it repeatedly, we finally told her we would not need it as our portions were to be plenty. many diets discuss no bread, so we looked at is as optional. one suggestion- i was steadily concerned of beverages spilling on the table as it wobbled terribly, an easy fix however very noticable. overall happy with the dining experience, recommend it, and plan to return. it was obvious staff and samee were being very attentative. we witnessed a patron being denied alcohol service who had too much, which we can appreciate. hands full in a full house. read more

We recently moved here from garland where our normal joint was Eddies Napoli, well this place is literally the BEST pizza I've ever had, idk what it is. The pizza doesn't look impressive when you open the box and we were sceptical but it was love at first bite. It was just ok. I was completely underwhelmed by the salmon Milan. It was bland and flavorless. The restroom was completely disgusting and needed a severe cleaning. If I had seen that before eating we would have left before. I can only imagine what the kitchen looked like. read more

I have been to Pizza-Getti about five times now and have ordered several different dishes during my visits. The food in a nutshell is wonderful. The pizza (which is what I order the most while there) is in my opinion, better than what you're going to get at Pizza Hut or Domino's. It is non-greasy like big chain pizzerias, crunchy with thin crust, and you can request pretty much any type of topping. I would recommend the pepperoni with hamburger; simple, yet delicious. The Italian Nachos are probably the best appetizer they offer. Just make sure you have someone with you because it comes in a large quantity, and you can over-indulge easily. The ravioli dish is great for a lunch, but maybe not so much for dinner as I was surprised that I did not get a larger serving. However it is better than any store-bought ravioli you're going to find. But I guess if you order Italian Nachos with the Ravioli, you'd leave full and happy. As for the ambiance of the restaurant, the facility is divided into two sections: the dining area and "Samees Place", which is a bar. Although I have only dined in the bar section, the dining area seems like a good place for a casual, relaxed dinner. Samee's Place is great too. The only problem is it's relatively small in comparison to the dining area, and they often have more customers than the bar area will hold. However, if you love the bar scene, even equipped with karaoke, then waiting for a table to open up is definitely worth the wait. The owners of the restaurant, as well as the entire staff is very accommodating. I have never once had a complaint about the personnel employed there. Usually you can find Samee and his wife at the restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights going from table to table, greeting and talking with everyone. This is one of the reasons I love small businesses in comparison to large chain restaurants: The owners and staff seem to care about your experience more and want to present themselves to get on your level. Aside from the smaller size of the bar, I have to say this is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. It has it all: Friendly owners and staff, low prices, and best of all, amazing food. I look forward to returning again soon. read more

Definitely not your typical "corporate" Italian restaurant, which is why I liked it. It has the feel of a small family establishment, and is very "family" friendly. We showed up with a group of 13, half of which were kids, and they quickly sat us and served us with a smile. The Palermo Pizza my Mama had was made by the owner himself (according to our server), and was amazing. The chicken parm made Mrs. Enzo very happy (photo of me sampling when she was not looking), and we all know "Happy Wife Makes Happy Life", so thank you Samee I owe you one. read more

My husband and I used to go to Pizza Getti regularly, and we thought it was the best cheap Italian restaurant in the area. However, our most recent visit left us disappointed. It seems they shrunk the menu by quite a bit, as there are far fewer options than before and my favorite ravioli had been removed from the menu. Additionally, the food we ordered, a pasta that was one of the day's specials, and a buffalo chicken pizza, left much to be desired. The pasta was was very gooey, and I could tell the chicken was previously frozen, it had that dry texture and flavor to it. Additionally, the pizza was burnt and lacked much flavor. This was surprising considering the quality I'm used to from this place. The appetizer, garlic cheese bread, was the only standby that was as good as we remembered. The service was good as usual. I am not sure why the menu changed, definitely for the worst. I hope this restaurant will bring back the old menu. Until then I think we will be going to a different Italian place. read more

This place was recommended by a friend who suggested I order the Chicken Marsala. I did and it was very good. If I was rating this by the food alone I would give it 5 stars. However the place was filthy, the table had so much grease built up on it it was sticky. It smelled old and moldy in the place. The floor was filthy. The waitress was nice and kept tea glass full. Came here to use a groupon coupon. I've been here several times but this is the first time I'm writing a review. On the few occassions when I've ordered the special steak that is not on the menu and served only on Fridays, I've loved my experience. But on the other occasions when I ordered something different - mmmm, not so much. On this last visit, my son & I both ordered cesear salads with our entrees. It was so bad that my son left it uneaten after two bites and I finished mine only because I hate to waste food. My kid ordered some kind of salmon that was served on a bed of flash fried spinach. The picture on the Groupon advertisement looked fantastic, but the actual food did not live up to what beckoned on the picture. He finished the salmon but left the spinach (which he normally likes). No problem - I'll finish it off. No could do. It was so greasy that I just left it behind as well. I don't recall what I ordered (probably some kind of chicken dish), and it was lackluster. When I told my kid we were eating here for dinner that night, he protested and I assured him that it would be good. As we left I promised I would never take us there for dinner again. We ordered delivery from Samee's tonight for the first time. 2 salads and 2 pasta dishes. I chose the Samee's salad. It was full of lettuce cores and brown leaves. I did not finish it. My husbands Cesar salad had about 5 bites of romaine lettuce in it, garnished w/ a couple croutons. Delivery took an hour, which is fine for being a Saturday night. The manicotti I ordered came with a "meat sauce." This sauce has no flavor, no herbs. It's a basic tomato sauce. The meat appears to be premade little sausage balls that look and taste like exactly what you get on a digiorno pizza. My husbands Alfredo was completely dry. There was no sauce to be found. The garlic bread was the best part, and it was soggy from being wrapped in tin foil while hot, and riding around in a car for an hour. We will not be going back. read more

I was referred here so I ordered pizza to go. The pizza was good, comparable to other pizza restaurants in the area, but the customer service, not so much. This is a family restaurant, but I didn't see the family friendly environment. The girls at the front desk were very polite but the owner...again, not so much. There was some confusion at the beginning of the conversation, and he thought I said something, he heard me incorrectly, that offended him and he was very rude and unprofessional. I was shocked, paid for my pizza and left. He yelled in my direction as I was walking out the door never to come back! Not a problem!
