Do you live within 1 hour? Are you obsessed with pizza and live within 2 hours? Get in your car now and head to County Line. We were out this way (45 minutes from home) to pick up an order from a favorite boutique who just moved down the road. My 10yo and 8yo were going to DIE if I didn't feed them pizza immediately. God just happen to do his thing and placed a pizza place within eyesight. The house salad alone is worth the visit. The pizza is cooked on an open fire and has some of the freshest tasting ingredients this Mama has had in pizza in a long time. Every pie is offered in a "personal" size, but even the small salad was enough for two meals! If you need further proof, my autistic child ate his ENTIRE kids cheese pizza without a single complaint. Fun retail, full bar and space ship are added bonuses.

I'm on the fence about this one. I love the look of the place. It looks like a fun place to hang out. It has a small patio that's covered. It doesn't have tons of seating but does have an upstairs loft with tables. I'm guessing they use that when busy. When we went, it definitely wasn't busy. It was just a weeknight. Service was ok. She didn't tell us any of the specials they had but that's ok. We ordered a small Caesar salad and a couple of pizzas. He got the Standard and I got the OG Pepperoni. I actually liked his better, it had a great flavor. My pepperoni pizza had some kind of a sweet taste to it that I couldn't pinpoint and very little sauce. He thought maybe it was the cheese but both pizzas had the same cheeses on them. The crust was delicious though. Definitely the star. So, all in all, I wasn't blown away but I'll likely try it again sometime.

This place is legit. We didn't know this spot existed until today. We will definitely be back. The food is great. The pizza toppings are super fresh. They have multiple TVs to catch college football games. They could use maybe a few more beer options, but thats me being picky. Definitely give this place a try.

Good food, great service and the vibe was very nice. Alot of space where you wont feel crowded. Outside, upstairs and ground floor areas. Heaters available outside. Pizza was good. Had one with meatballs (just pieces, not cut in half but maybe in quarters, the pepperoni kinda tasted like turkey pepperoni. The spice on it was good. The SALAD was awesome with the goat cheese and the peppers. Got the pepperoni rolls to bring home. They must dice the pepperoni up. It tasted good but was not what i expected. Drinks from the bar were great. They are still new, so i will go again.

This is a carefully worded review of the food via a take out order. The joint seems like a fun place to dine-in, and we love supporting local businesses. I did an online order of 3 pizzas, 2 orders of wings and a salad, over $108, including tip. Took the pies home and noted that they are somewhat smaller than your typical pizza. We like a crunchy crust, which none of them had. The flavors were good, but they could have used another minute in the oven. The wings were tasty but not crispy (they almost seemed to be baked, not fried), as if they needed a bit more time in the oil. Guys, thank you for the quick service times, but I would gladly wait a little longer for great food. The salad was tasty. We'll have to come in for a sit-down and try this again.

Not wood fired, wood burnt to shit!! Need to fire the pizza cook not the pizza.
    Dave K.

Absolutely Terrible Experience Tonight's visit was incredibly disappointing. I love wood-fired pizza, but what I got was completely burnt crust--straight-up trash. It's obvious there's no quality control or care in the cooking process. Easily the worst pizza I've had in the last 10 years. The issues started right from the moment we walked in. The hostess gave us attitude when we asked for a booth, even though there were at least three open. She made it seem like we should just accept whatever seat she offered. After standing around for a few minutes (despite the place being relatively empty), we were finally sat in a booth. It was clean and nice inside. When our pizza arrived, the waitress asked if we'd like fresh cheese on top. We said yes, but it took her about 10 minutes to bring it out--by the time she showed up, half the pizza was already gone. To top it all off, as we were heading to our truck, some drunk person in the parking lot started banging on the side of the truck, trying to get in. I think they were confused and thought it was their vehicle, but it scared the hell out of my kids. This place was a disaster from start to finish. I won't be coming back.

    Menu

Where to start? Parking lot looked full but we were greeted and seated very quickly. We chose to eat at the bar. It's more fun there! Lucas (bartender, waiter, social butterfly) has been in the pizza/bartending profession long enough to make conversation fun! He was awesome. Service could not have been better. We had the supreme pizza and drinks. Pizza was so much tastier than we've had anywhere else locally. Ingredients were fresh, crust was perfect. Prices were reasonable. NO sticker shock! Atmosphere was modern casual. Very inviting. Highly recommend. Already looking forward to a return.

The Bianca is very flavorful and was surprisingly bold!

The bar inside had tables available, but it was pretty lively in there lol a group was playing music in the corner, & it was getting crowded by the time we left. Brick and Bones Backyard is a blue house on the corner of Main St. in Rowlett, Tx, that has been transformed into something magical. This Mexican-Inspired "chicken shop" is offering fried & rotisserie chicken, classic cocktails, and live music in a rustic setting. The menu is diverse and offering all things chicken that is brined 24 hours, fried and can be order breaded or naked( for the gluten-free in you). They also have rotisserie chicken, tenders, sandwiches, salads, bowls and wings, along with unique sides. Poblano mashed potatoes, habanero mac n cheese, mexican corn, etc... often garnished with fresh radish and cilantro around out the menu, with top notch service to boot. Mi marido ordered the breaded fried chicken, mexican corn and poblano mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken was well seasoned with a great crunch. The potatoes had good flavor, but were barely warm. I can imagine their greatness heated. The mexican corn on the other hand was the real elote deal! The fresh snap of sweet corn, dosed with cotija cheese and spices lives up to the hype! Sweet, spicy, savory, it hit all the flavor profiles. I had the naked chicken with an order crinkle fries(faves) which was greatly appreciated for it's gluten-freeness and flavor. However, it was abit overcooked. Which left it thready and a little dry. The sauce that accompanied it, was needed, but shouldn't have been, while the fries were fresh, but undercooked. The concept and flavors make Brick & Bone standout on the chicken front. Better execution can make it a cut above the rest. Check It Out!

I say approximately because we live about a 10 minute drive and we left our home about 6:20, but I digress. Upon our arrival we were seated and provided with water and menus. The business was not that crowded at this time and several tables had already been served or had their respective drinks. At 6:40 when we had no additional contact with the wait staff that seated us or any other staff. There were two bartenders and to table wait staff. The bartenders were making drinks while the wait staff appeared to be behind the counter and occasionally seating newer customers. At 6:40 my wife was ready to leave, I told her I would give them to 7:00, at 6:59 our waitress came back to our table, the first time since she sat us. She took our drink order as well as our dinner order. At approximately 7:05 I saw the bartender making our drinks and place them at the end of the bar. During this time I believe that our wait staff was preparing one of our food items while the second wait staff was serving some customers in her are or taking orders. At 7:12 I went to the end of the bar to get our drinks but there was no glass for the wine as the bartender poured it out in a small carafe. So I left them at the bar. Mat 7:15 our waitress came staff got a wind glass and poured the carafe of wine into the glass at the bar and then brought the drinks to us. Approximately 7:25 our meals arrived. The attention to detail is incredible. We started with the queso blanco, which is served in a volcanic stone bowl that keeps it perfectly warm and creamy far longer than a traditional bowl. It was absolutely delicious, and the portion was enormous. Honestly, six people could easily share it and still have plenty before the main course arrived. For our entrée, we ordered the chicken fajitas. The chicken was well-marinated, the presentation was beautiful, and both the rice and beans were excellent. Now for the few things keeping this from being a five-star experience. First, the tortillas. They tasted like packaged grocery store tortillas...think Mission brand. For me, freshly made tortillas are almost non-negotiable at a Mexican restaurant. When everything else is this thoughtfully prepared, packaged tortillas feel completely out of place. Second--and this is a hill I'm willing to die on--I ordered a Diet Coke and was told they only serve Coke Zero. I'm sorry, but those are not the same thing. Every Diet Coke fan understands this. Finally, the noise level was overwhelming. There was a soccer game on the TVs with the audio blasting throughout the restaurant. It was so loud that carrying on a conversation was difficult, and even hearing our waitress required her to lean in right next to us. This isn't a sports bar; it's a beautifully themed restaurant that happens to have a bar. The game didn't need to dominate the atmosphere. Overall, the restaurant is stunning, the food is very good, and the attention to detail is exceptional. If they started making fresh tortillas, offered Diet Coke as an option, and turned off the TV audio, this would be an easy 5+ star experience for me.

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

I have only one thing to say about Dudley's bar and grill, excellent people, excellent service,…read morethese people went out of their way even though, I wasn't even their customer. I fell in the parking lot, wasn't even their responsibility. It wasn't their fault, but their staff, was more than helpful, made me feel like what's in the right place. Next thing they did, was to comfort me, and give me medical treatment. I mean it was only a few scratches. My forearm was bleeding. Of course. I was bleeding all over the parking lot. But they didn't care, they took care of me when I need them. They opened their bathroom, and they gave me sufficient medical care to get home. I've never been in Dudley's bar before. But I give them a AAA reading on there staff, and need to be helpful. It seemed like a bunch of off duty. Paramedics took care me. I very much appreciate their time and their care.

My mom and I have visited Dudley's a couple of times since I left my original review, and I can honestly say we've noticed a big difference. The wait staff has been much more attentive, welcoming, and engaged. The atmosphere feels much more like the Dudley's we fell in love with. One of the things I mentioned before was wanting everyone to feel equally welcomed, and I'm happy to say our recent visits have reflected that. We truly appreciate the effort because it made our experience so much more enjoyable. Thank you for listening to your customers and continuing to make Dudley's a place where people enjoy coming to relax, have a glass of wine, and spend time together. We'll definitely be back!

Very cute restaurant. Service is very good and fast at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. Only complaint is…read moreit was a bit hot inside. They said something had broke earlier and that a repair man was on his way. We started with risotto bites. And butternut squash soup. The risotto bites were delicious but the soup was lacking. The waitress said it did look a little thin today. And our issue was lack of flavor. We also got the whiskey pork tenderloin which was our favorite of that and the smothered chicken. The Brussel sprouts that come with the pork are absolutely amazing. The pork was juicy and flavorful. We finished with the crème brûlée. It was delish also, overall on our first trip I will say I will be back. Our check was 120.21 , we don't do drinks besides water since that's all we like anywhere. The ac was a fluke and the soup just needed to thicken up I think so great restaurant!!!!
