    Philly Cheese Steak

This is my 3rd attempt to have dinner in this restaurant. The first time was horrible service and we never even sat down. The second time was something similar so we just left and thought it was bad timing. Things happen, short staffing or whatever. So finally my adult kids were craving Italian so we went tonight on my suggestion. I am guessing it wasn't coincidence the first two times because service wasn't great or even good. We felt like we were a bother. It felt like they prefer "to go"orders. But we kept on hoping for an improvement like maybe a slow start and to my disappointment it never improved. This will absolutely be the last time, no more chances for me. This is a Philly Cheese Steak, I think. At least that's what I ordered. Bread was rock hard. Meat was sparse. Completely unappealing sandwich and I tasted a corner of the meat and it was overcooked and rubbery. I didn't touch it again. My kids did enjoy the Alfredo and Pesto Dish. So it wasn't a total loss but also wasn't good enough to ever return for any of us. I should have really gone with my gut instinct and any restaurant that neglects the exterior of the business the way this one is ...is probably not really noticing attention to detail. So I recommend going once and checking it out for yourself but if you have a similar experience I think it's worth sharing with others because in my opinion we all work hard for our money and this place absolutely does not do anything to deserve it. Good luck!

Well... not really luigi's. Disappointing. My chicken was chewy and alfredo was thin. One small piece of chicken. Bread wasn't as good. Just disappointing. Kitchen is filthy. Just gross It's worth the drive to go to the real luigi's.

Service with a smile, hot delicious food. Drinks & bread refilled promptly. House dressing is very good, sweet tea and rolls.... Yummy

Food was good. They don't take Mastercard if it's the Apple/Goldman Sachs card which is unfortunate.

Food is among the best and so reasonably priced too. I love this place and I feel lucky to have them here in Royse City!

The Garlic Bread Knots are the smallest I have ever seen in any Luigis I have been to. I went to the one in Rockwall and it is way bigger

This was only our 2nd time here and I am not sure why... I have a feeling #3 wont be far behind…read more The food is fantastic. Period. I am not a big fish person and hubby loves something fried so a healthy fishy meal isn't our first go to, but we went outside our normal tonight. And we left so satisfied. For apps, the mac and cheese bites with crab. This should feel heavy but it doesn't. Moist and full of flavor. We did the crab fingers (special on the black board... pay attention to the specials they are fire). Tons of crab for the price and the chowder type sauce was so good. I just wish I had more bread to soak it up. Dinner was the tuna with mango sauce. I got mine rare and it was perfectly cooked. The filet was well seasoned and the sauce complimented it well. Large portion of tuna. He got the special (do not sleep on the black board) flounder stuffed with crab and shrimp. Absolutely amazing. I have never ever ordered flounder before but I guarantee ill order it if we return and its a special. Service was fast snd everyone was attentive. Cant wait until we go back.

This place has been highly recommended with rave reviews, but unfortunately, the food did not live…read moreup to the expectations. Our server was very attentive and welcoming! The menu pricing is fair given its seafood but not super affordable either. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller. The oysters were massive! However, I wasn't really a fan of the sauce, and especially not the lettuce. Because the dish was served hot, the lettuce was soggy and impacted both the texture and taste of the overall dish. The best thing, in my opinion, were the Mac and cheese crab cakes. A truly genius combination. Lastly, the fried catfish was just okay. It was kind of bland but not super crispy either. The portion is really big though. The fries on the side were soggy too and could have spent a couple more minutes in the frier.
