I woke up with severe pain from my wisdom tooth and contacted her, she was kind enough to treat me the same day. After my first appointment with her, I now know that I will always come back to her office for any future dental work I need done. LONG DETAILED REVIEW!!! MUST READ!!! My 5 year old daughter has had a severe toothache for the past 4 days. Her usual dentist is closed from Saturday to Monday and does not have flexibility on appointment dates and times. I work full time in Los Angeles and live in San Bernardino County. Finding an emergency pediatric dentist that is available on the weekend or after the usual 8am to 5pm weekday hours is RARE. Like Unicorn RARE. I found myself searching "Emergency Pediatric Dentist After Hours" yesterday and the first person listed was Dr. Seini's office. I looked at the reviews and even browsed through her website and figured I'd give it a shot and contact them HOPING that the reviews were as accurate as the person on the other side of the phone call. Right off the bat, I explained my situation, and with no hesitation Dr Seini's office was able to give me an appointment the next day. I received a call around noon today from the office asking if I could come in a little bit later (Appt. Time was 4:30pm) since Dr. Seini needed to go to Irvine. With my luck, I actually needed a later appointment due to the distance of the drive. They were so accommodating and understanding of my situation. The fact that Dr. Seini was willing to go out of her way and come back to the Orange location just for my daughter made me feel like she must really be a genuine, kind, and caring person. Which is a RARE quality to come across nowadays in healthcare. When we arrived around 6:30pm (underestimated traffic), I felt so bad for showing up behind schedule but her office staff was more than happy to help. Dr. Seini showed up not too long after we arrived, she had her daughter with her! At first this made me feel like a horrible person, having her come back to work this late and also being a brand new patient to her practice. I thought forsure she was definitely not looking forward to seeing us. As soon as she introduced herself, I immediately knew that my daughter was in great hands. She went above and beyond and did not give us a hard time at all about being there so late. She explained every step clearly and gave us options of which procedures could be done and the benefits and cons of each option. We decided to do a tooth extraction. To top it off, she gave us a prescription for antibiotics, instructions for post procedure care, and a post op visit within 5 days! She also explained the cost of everything on the spot, which I appreciate very much because nowadays there are hidden fees in every corner but she was straight forward and got the job done! The entire visit lasted about 2 and 1/2 hours and everything was resolved and my daughter is now pain free. Better than a trip to the emergency room! Don't know where to start exactly but called the 24 hour hotline in regards to a tooth that was infected and was getting concerned because my face was swelling so bad it was going to cover my eye. Called and it was picked up by a very nice person, asked some questions explained what the dentist I saw that afternoon told me and she stated in a very professional way that they are wrong. After some consulting I was able to get the right medication and dosage for my situation. Asked the professional if I can have her name for such a great service and to my disbelief it was the doctor her self. WOW I was shocked me thinking I was talking to someone in a different state or another dentist nope it was the doctor. When I asked why, she stated she likes to be hands on. I went in because in their website it said free consultation. When I got there I had to fill out forms, and they wanted me to sign pages without putting any information about my health. While I was filling out the forms and I kept asking questions the front desk girl told me they were gonna charge $199 for X-rays. I told her I thought it was just a consultation and it was free, she replied saying they do it to everyone, it's by law. After talking back and forth she said they could make a discount so I could only pay $99. I still felt uncomfortable, since my problem was my front veneer, nothing else. So I just said, thank you and I left the office. Not even 2 minutes later, the manager called and said they could waived the $199 if I go back. I thought about it for a minute but then I decided if they were not honest about this when their website said free consultation, what other hidden charges are they going to have. So I just told the manager, I appreciated their call but they should be honest, if it says free consultation, they should honor it. It is hard for me to go to the dentist, I've had bad experiences in the past and things like this, makes it difficult to find a good and honest dentist. read more

Worst experience ever. If you're looking for a friend and not a dentist, or a dentist that's sweet on the eyes, then this is the place to go. When it comes to a dentist, I do not recommend at all. Last year I got a root canal completed by Dr. Seini and it was the fastest root canal i've ever had. I even commented to her, that i was surprised she was done already. Although I wasn't really impressed with her professionalism, I was impressed she completed a root canal so quickly. Well..go figure...a couple months later i started having pain in the tooth, where she completed her root canal. Although her staff was very nice, i remembered that she wasnt very professional, because she couldnt get my seat to go up and down, sticking her boobs in my face to try and fix it, she was splashing water and blood all over my face and not cleaning it up, getting it all over my shirt, so I decided to go to another dentist, to check the work she did on my root canal. Come to find out, looking at the xrays, Dr. Seini broke a piece of her tool off in my gums, which she never told me. Because the tool was stuck in my gums, she was unable to complete the root canal properly. Also because of the broken tool, the only option of the new dentist was to extract the tooth, so they could get the tool out and finish the roots. Dr. Seini negligence left me in a horrible situation of trying to get the tooth and tool out, and I, eventually ended up in an emergency situation at an endodontist. it was the worst experience ever. Now that i'm reading her other reviews, i'm noticing she has a lot of bad reviews, probably mixed in with paid positive reviews. It was the worst experience ever. read more

Me and me Fiance have been coming to Dr. Seini for about a year and half now. She is amazing. Her entire staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. She has done multiple cleanings over time and cavity fillings for us. We both had to get root canals done and I have had 1 done somewhere else and it scared me to death to do it again. Dr. Seini promised me I wouldn't feel anything and she made me feel at ease and it was just that. No pain at all. Also we had our teeth whitening trays done by her and my teeth are very very sensitive but with hers I use once a day at night when I go to sleep and my shade has came down 4 colors already. I recommend her to anyone. As you can see her reviews talk for themselves. The few negative ones are prob fake from other offices or people with no courtesy and just wrote bad reviews. When I learned that my daughter, a Chapman student, had chipped her front tooth last Saturday - I looked for a local dentist who was open over the weekend to help repair the tooth. I was pleasantly surprised that Dr. Seini's office was open on Sundays. They said they would be able to get her in on Sunday at 10. My daughter called me that morning (she stepped outside while she made the phone call to me) and said she was being persuaded to not just get a small chip repaired, but to have 6 veneers placed on her front teeth for $4,000! My daughter politely told them that she had no idea what veneers were and that she did not think she was interested in having that done. They (Dr. Seini's staff) insisted she watch a tutorial video about veneers and then continued to badger her about getting them due to "fluorosis" stains on her canines from braces. My daughter stood her ground and insisted that she had only come for her small chip to be repaired with bonding and nothing else. Dr. Seini continued her recommendations for veneers or that, at the very least, she really needed to have another very small chip replaced on her other tooth as well - my daughter maintained that she would only consent to having the one tooth repaired. (By the way, my daughter has lovely teeth that are not stained and her photo has been used by a local orthodontist office at home for advertising photos.) Although the repair was seemingly done well, my daughter would never recommend that anyone have to go through the high pressure "sales pitch" that she had to go through. The experience made her extremely uncomfortable and she told me she would never go back to this practice. I feel strongly that Dr. Seini was attempting to financially take advantage of a college student by recommending a procedure that was absolutely unnecessary. We were in palm springs when my friend chipped her tooth, the only dentist available on a Sunday none the less was Dr. Seini. I called ahead of time and she was able to squeeze us in. The entire situation was stressful and uncomfortable. When we got to her office she greeted us personally and took my friend in asap. The office was clean, calming and welcoming. She was so empathetic and genuine,reassuring my friend that she would fix it and it would look great. She got her xrays done and her tooth bonded. She took the time and explained everything about the procedure. This whole experience started out bad but Dr. Seini really came through for us and salvaged the whole day. Doctor Seini is the best dental doctor I have been to in Orange County. The staff is amazing and they go above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I had a beyond terrible experience with Samira Seini. I came into her practice for the first time with pain in my wisdom teeth. As suspected, she said I must have them out. This was fair enough, and made sense. However, she then went on to claim that I needed several crowns and a root canal at a great price. This was rather shocking news to me. I am from London, and have had the same dentist since I was a child. I had seen him just a few months earlier and he had foreseen none of this. I am also a student, and literally did not possess this money. So I called my parents, whilst still at the practice, to discuss this with them, since I would need help financially. They were also shocked, and so we decided it would be best to be safe and get the wisdom teeth out, but get a second opinion about the crowns and root canal. When I politely told Samira this, she became very defensive. I was in no way being aggressive in my tone, in fact I was very embarrassed and uncomfortable that I had felt forced to call my parents. I felt very small. As anyone would, I just wanted to calmly leave. My decision had been made. You'd think she would respect this, but no.... She told me that she was 'personally offended' by my choice to get a second opinion, and then proceeded to be extremely patronizing, telling me that, "At some point in your life Annaliese, you're going to have to make decisions for yourself and not always listen your parents." She lectured me like this for a few minutes....basically trying to persuade me to turn against the decision I had made with them. I kept telling her repeatedly, that I was sorry but I would like to get a second opinion. I mean, I quite literally could not pay for these procedures, I don't know what she wanted me to do! THEN she said to me "Annaliese, there is a reason there is a stereotype of British people having bad teeth." I could not believe my ears. She then proceeded to rant about why American dentistry was superior to British dentistry (completely unprovoked.) I had no idea where this was coming from! It was very bizarre. She became quite emotional. It was very unprofessional. All that I said is that I would like a second opinion. At that point all I wanted to do was leave her practice, and she made that extremely difficult for me. She put me under extreme pressure, was very belittling and made me feel very very very uncomfortable. It was a strange and horrible experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. After pressuring me and pressuring me, I agreed to have my wisdom teeth out, since I was in quite some pain. She took them out. It was quick and I healed very well. So i'll give her that. HOWEVER this does not make up for the fact that she was extremely rude and unprofessional. Thankfully I managed to leave her office without any of the other treatments that she tried to thrust upon me. However, I was left rather unnerved. What if she was right? The news that I needed all this work came as a shock to me, but that didn't mean it wasn't true. So a couple of months later, I went back home to my dentist in London, nervous, expecting him to deliver some bad news. I told him the story, and he looked at my teeth and X rays and told me that I had "immaculate cleaning." I didn't need any crowns or a root canal and had no idea why Samira claimed that I did! Well, maybe you might have some idea of why she did....$$$$?? Absolutely awful. And the tragic thing is, if she was the only dentist I had ever been to, I would have no reason not to believe her. Why would I? I have no dentistry knowledge, nor does the average person coming into her practice (at least I imagine). I only questioned her claims because I have had a very reliable, honest dentist (private and highly qualified!! On Harley Street, London!) since I was a small kid, who's never tried to screw me or my family out of money. So if she's all you've known, I think it's time to go get that second opinion..... PS. I have never previously written a review on Yelp because I have never experienced something so terrible. I had to create an account just so I could complain about Samira. BEWARE. PSS. I would also like to note that she was EXTREMELY charming and sweet up until the point that I told her I needed a second opinion. So if you're a regular at her practice, find my review surprising or you are thinking 'but I know Samira, she's the sweetest! I don't believe it!,'....do not be fooled. I'd really like to give this place five stars but truth is I just can't. Their services are very expensive for the type of worked performed. Every time I go in there it never misses, I always hear her say "you need a root canal and crown". My husband and I went in for a checkup and come to find we both needed the "root canal and crown" We spent almost $2K out of pocket. Not to mention our insurance covered a very decent large amount which she maxed out. Dr Seini convinced me to save my tooth and she will be able to get a crown on it. Bad idea! I had my root canal done first and then my crown. Well the crown keeps on falling. I try so much not to eat on my side where my crown is located but eventually it falls. I just got it in July and it's been three times that it falls. I have to go every three weeks to get it bonded again and every time she tells me she is using stronger bonding glue. Well if that was the case my crown wouldn't be falling. On to my husband he was told about a root canal and crown. But on top of that he needed to get his wisdom teeth taken out before the crown. Well he is a truck driver so it's hard for him to get this dental work done. And since July he is only done the root canal and nothing else. So I'm wondering if she billed my insurance for almost $3K, charged me $900 and my husband $1k on Care Credit then she really is about the money. She claims to be a Dental Pediatrician, but in reality she is not. My son also got fillings on his molar he had severe pain which later had abscess because of her treatment. I took my son to get his braces on because Dr Seini signed off saying all the dental work was done and he was cleared. How can you do that when you know you didn't do the work right? So ortho office tells me to go back to her to get the work completed. She then tells me everything was done but if the pediatric dentist says to take the tooth out then they know better. Um didn't you just claim you are a pediatrician on your website and yelp page? Well at least they took take of my son at his orthodontics place. No more pain as opposed to Dr Seini. After all she wanted our $1500/ea (myself and husband and son) of our insurance, plus our out of pocket money which we spent $2500 total. Makes me really upset to know people taking advantage of you this way especially when it's not in your budget get this work done but make the most of it to make it work. Karma is out there. read more
