They said I needed root canal but wasn't truth! Both manager and dentist said I needed root canal I said NO then dentist said I don't and talked me Into a crown promised to show me the exrays three sets of exrays lies didn't show them to me until now! They put a crown where the molar should have been extracted I have Deep seated Cariss and pirforcation root exposed when they put the crown i was at lost all trust for dentists so what d They did was cover the exposed bifurcation due to to bond recession I almost immediately got infection because bacteria was able to advance into my root and I had infection for 9 mnths I was so shaken up by the lies and love of money they had to go any dentist I fully lost all trust in any dentist that how bad they did me to lie again and again. Had I neede a root canal they never would done crown before they drilled that molar o was completely distrusting and felt betrayed. Now the worse Part they cover their backs not apologizing and making it right but stay as liars covering their tracks this is shameful and unAmerican I truly have big regrets ever going here and will publically do all I can to expose this crime of humanity they also Lied that they would show me the exrays the day taken when I mentioned this the dentist offered to show them was Next appt when crown arrived . Be very careful if you choose to use this dentistry office. We all want dentists we can trust but this is not an office you can trust. I was recommended to have two crowns due to cracked teeth within a year. I replaced one, but the other, I got a second opinion. No cracks. I realize dentists do not make money on exams and teeth cleaning only. They need to do procedures. A good analogy here is like a bad car mechanic you can't trust. Run! read more

I had a tooth removed by a so called specialist. After a second round of antibiotics and several days of pain it started to heal. After the stitches came out there was a piece of my original tooth that was supposed to be removed still stuck in my gums. I had to go to another dentist to have it removed. This office has terrible after care services. Nobody cares. I asked to speak with the owner several times and until now I have not received a phone call. I did receive a letter asking me not to return to their office for future care like this is my fault! The front office manager said we treat our clients like family. REALLY!!! Typical response from the owner. After care service was horrible. Your specialist just did not care. Would not return phone calls. Not professional at all. Besides the fact that he did not remove the entire tooth, leaving a piece that another dentist had to remove Please do not say you have high standards. I've been a patient at Artistic Smiles for over 20 years. They have maintained exceptional excellence over the years. Since Day One I've said they are the best ever. Dr. C, Dr. Kim and Dr. Koo are competent, up-to-date (in technology and education) and extremely competent in providing expert and beautiful work. Julio is my #1 choice for dental cleaning. He's the best. I've had a lot of work done over the years - regular checks, cleanings, crowns, braces, veneers and I'll probably need an implant on the tooth I just broke! I don't know about the implant because I don't see Dr. Koo until tomorrow (I broke it tonight at 5:00pm, called aright away and got an appointment for tomorrow - they are available - don't have to wait weeks for an appointment). But if he recommends it - I'll have it done here. No where else. I have 100% confidence in their work. I have 100% satisfaction in their patient treatment (comforting, humor, educational, available). This place sucks! They're basically swindlers bc all they do is have a special person hired just to attempt to coerce and up sell you services who are super aggressive and rude. I would think it's considered malpractice when you also receive a shot when you were NOT informed you would be getting one and not even warned when it was occurring! Im terrified of needles and started having a panic attack! The second time I went back the same person did the cleaning and he attempted to force me to get a shot AGAIN! They lie about what services you need done, harass you, and do NOT even inform you what will happen to you! Dr. Phil is an amazing dentist, you couldn't possibly find one better. My husband, kids, and I all go to him. Today specifically, He was so patient and comforting with my daughter, who was very nervous, and he made her feel completely at ease. I came to this dentist office to repair my cracked tooth. I told them I was retired and on a fixed income and did not have much money. After examination Dr. Li told me that I need to have two teeth removed and replaced for a price of $8,000.00. I asked him is there was some kind product like cement that was malleable and then harden. He laughed at me and said there is not. Three days later I am watching YouTube shorts and I see a video of the exact product I was asking Dr. Li about at Amazon for $29.00. Needless to say I ordered it. I go there because of Dr Koo he is kind, doesn't push you into doing things just to make a buck he will tell you if you can hold off a little in a tooth and what is necessary. I just want to leave this review based on my personal experience. I just want to start off by saying that the staff including the assistance and the front office people like Maria were incredibly nice. I went in for an emergency visit on a Sunday and they were able to get me in unfortunately I did have to wait almost 2 hours to be seen but the girls (assistants) were really great about checking in on me making sure I was OK. My problem is with the dentist I saw that day, so I had originally had feelings done with a previous dentist, and was having an incredible amount of pain. One of the assistant had suggested a bite test, and had mentioned that my bike was off, and I could feel my bike being off, but when the dentist came in, she maybe took one. Look in my mouth, and the x-rays, and basically said there's really nothing I can do for you. She gave me a prescription for Motrin. And what really shocked. me is that she said if the pain isn't managed with Motrin. She could give me a prescription for amoxicillin which is an antibiotic and I asked her if she thought I had an infection. She said no. But the antibiotic will help with the pain. And clearly that doesn't make any sense. Another thing that really bothered me, is that when the assistant asked her per my request. If she could fix my bite to see if that would alleviate the pain. She said no. She wanted me to go back to my regular dentist because she didn't want to be liable for something happening to the fillings. She didn't want to touch another dentist Work So I basically spent $75 to sit and wait for two hours to be told to go home and continue to be in pain with the prescription for the medication that I was already taking that wasn't helping. I had given all this information when I called and I feel like I would've saved myself some time and money. If this information would've been given to me over the phone as they were able to do. They are accommodating, with late availability and weekend. My first visit today was beyond impressive. The attention to detail and care was impressive. Julio the hygienist was very thorough but remained gentle with my cleaning, Ashley took the most painless x-rays, and Dr Khoo's was amazing with the most wonderful bedside manner. I have been coming here for years and usually get great service... but today wasn't the case dentist told me change out an old filing which I agree too had me numb now I am still waiting for dentist and I have been sitting in the room waiting for over 45 minutes. They operate more professionally than any other dentist I have ever been to. From getting x-rays to billing, everything is so much easier here. I don't feel like just another patient and it feels like they really care about your teeth and comfort. My first time here was for 2 crowns and a filling, this time I had a cleaning and check-up. Both times the staff were friendly and kept me waiting hardly at all. The dentists were helpful and really showed you exactly what they were talking about with pictures of your teeth. My husband and I have been patients here a little over a year, and we have been very happy with the service we've received. It's super easy to get an appointment and they are open late as well as on weekends which is great. I've also never had to wait more than 10 minutes after checking-in to be taken back, and I'm usually in-and-out in about an hour. The dentists themselves are good and have done several fillings for us without any problems. They will take the time to show you your x-rays and photos of your teeth, and explain what's going on and how you can fix it. The front office staff and dental hygienists are all very friendly and helpful too. I've never felt like anyone has tried to up-sell me or pressure me into procedures that are unnecessary. I asked for a discount on the other front tooth. Trying to at least match the tooth they messed up and was insulted with the $98.00 discount they offered.
